Voila, j'ai fait le grand saut la semaine derniere, je suis parti vivre a Bangkok, avec de quoi tenir 5 mois (25 000 THB/mois). Je me suis trouve mon appartement et je l ai equipe en deux jours, le troisieme jour, j avais internet chew moi.
Le quatrieme jour, je commence la recherche d un emploi et decroche dans la demi heure un entretien, qui se conclut par le souhait de l employeur de me voir commencer lundi (apres demain) avec un salaire de 45 000 THB. Pour precision, sans donner son nom, il s agit d une grosse compagnie etablie a New York, donc je suis confiant sur l'entreprise.
Le probleme, c'est que je ne pensais pas obtenir si rapidement un boulot (oui, il faut arriver a le caler que mon probleme est d'avoir trouve un travail bien paye rapidement lol).
Du coup, pour la premiere fois, je me renseigne sur les demarches de Work Permit, et j ai pu voir qu il faut un visa non immigrant B pour avoir le precieux sesame.
Or ce fameux visa s obtient avec une lettre d invitation de l employeur, chose que je n avais pas donc je suis parti vent du cul dans la plaine, avec le fameux tampon touristique valide un mois renouvelable deux fois.
Je precise que mon employeur est au courant que j ai besoin d un work permit, mais ne m a pas demande la nature de mon visa.
Selon vous, qu en est il ? Devrais-je retourner en France pour faire un visa non immigrant B ou bien cela est arrangeable maintenant que je suis etabli ici ?
si votre employeur est si pressé de vous voir au boulot, il peut probablement aussi accélérer les choses en vous aidant a répondre a cette question
et si c'ets une grosse société bien implantée a Bangkok ( d'apres ce que vous dites) il sait quoi faire et a sûrement un responsable administratif thai qui pourra vous aider
en théorie il faut faire la demande via un consulat a l'ext ( en théorie , dans le pays d'origine et pas possible de transformer un visa touriste en visa business et permi de travail)
mais il y a un écart entre théorie et pratique
de toutes facon, si vous une parlez pas thai et que vous n'etes pas vraiment au courant de toutes les démarches, il vous faut quelqu'un de confiance pour vous piloter
donc votre futur patron ou son assistant seraiyt la bonne personne
( a moins que votre futur patron ait voulu tester vos capacités d'adaptation au pays et voir la facon dont vous allez vous débrouiller pour régler cette affaire ! )

Je sais que le degre de corruption en Thailande et en France n est pas le meme, mais qu entends tu par difference entre theorie et pratique ? Cela veut dire qu en graissant quelques pattes, l employeur pourra obtenir mon visa ? Ou bien que je puisse aller dans un autre pays aue le pays d origine, style malaisie pour faire le tout ?

oui c'est vrai qu'en France la corruption est vraiment tres forte
et le sourire et la gentillesse ne servent a pas grand chose dans les démarches administratives ou il faut plutot jouer au plus fort pour faire avancer les choses
ici évidemment essayer de jouer au plus fort et croire que la Thaïlande est un pays ou tout s'achète, c'est aller directement droit dans le mur !
A la condition de montrer que l'on veut faire dans les regles et de bien préparer son dossier , il suffit de faire les choses en douceur et surtout avec un grand sourire pour que tout baigne , et les memes les choses qui en théorie ne semblent pas possible s'arrangent
Je te conseille de ne pas verser le moindre bath à ton patron s'il te demande des sous pour arranger ton visa car là il y a de fortes chances qu'il s'agisse d'une arnaque. Ton embauche rapide me semble suspecte mais bon je suis un peu parano.

Il s agit d une grosse boite informatique, ayant son siege a New York et s etant etabli a Bangkok. Je doute donc d une possible arnaque et qu ils aient besoins de ces procedes pour gagner de l argent (ils vont meme jusqu a preciser dans mon contrat de travail qu ils payeront tout le materiel et les livres dont je pourrais avoir besoin pour continuer d apprendre, ou bien pour ameliorer mon travail, j ai donc ose leur demande un clavier francais, ils m ont transfere le mail comme quoi la commande etait en cours). Je doute donc fortement de l arnaque.
Autre source d'inquietude pour moi, ils m ont fait un one month contract, qu ils renouvelleront jusqu'a l obtention de mon work permit. Est ce une pratique courante ou dois je me mefier ?
Une société thailandaise peut très bien te faire avoir ton visa de travail cela ne pose aucun problème. S'ils ne savent pas comment faire c'est que se sont des nuls. Ils doivent avoir un avocat qui doit s'occuper de tout.
Quant à moi voila comment je vois l'arnaque. On va te demander 50 000 baths pour te faire avoir ton visa. Ensuite, ils seront désolé mais tu n'as pas pu obtenir de visa et malheureusement pour toi l'argent déposé ne peut pas être rendu.
Bon je peux me tromper mais dans tous les cas ne leur donne pas d'argent.

Non, moi ce que je redoute, c est la societe qui a besoin d un gars juste pour un ou deux mois, et qui me ferait miroiter un work permit pour me dire ciao au bout de cette periode.
si tu as un visa touristique . d un ou deux mois . alors tu vas vite fait quand il se termine au laos a ventiam ou au cambodge a l ambassade de thailand et tu demande un visa 3 mois non B .. d abbord tu demande a l employeur une promesse d embauche et tous les doc .. ensuite tu iras au minister of labours en thaialand dans la zone ou tu vas travailler avce ton new visa et tu demande le work permit et avce ca tu demande en Thailand cette fois a l imigration buro ton visa de travailleur ...
voila .. si c a marche fais moi signe .. moi aussi j y vais pour bosser soon ..
