1 des mes amis est parti s'installer à Valencia depuis +-1an, je compte moi mm allez y vivre ds +-2ans et je lui ai posé des questions similaire aux tiennes.Donc pour faire pratique, je t'envoi 1 partie de sa réponse :).
"Pour ce qui est de la ville, il y a pleins de choses a voir comme par ex: Le quartier du Carmen ( quartier underground rempli de jeunes, bourré de magasins d art et avec des cafés tr`s sympas genre DJ rock pop annees 60-70-80 qui demenagent mais aussi des endroits plus insolites genre "le club des fumeurs" un truc ds le genre), Pour les endroits a proprement dits de Fêtes: tu as la place del cedro ou tu as ts les bars connus du jeudi au samedi soir, la place honduras ou tu as un café le "Flow" qui assure vraiment bien au niveau prog. Au niveau boîte, tu as la picadily tt près de la place de l ayuntamiento (hotel de ville) qui est ouvert du mardi soir tte la nuit jusqu au dimanche limite lundi matin . Ou sinon, il y a le Barraca qui est une boîte avec une prog géniale (connue mondialement) . Au niveau monuments, je pense que c au point de vue architecture que c le plus impressionnant (cfr ciudad ciencias y artes de Calatrava).
Mais je crois que plus important que les nationalites que l on y rencontre, je pense que c est l ouverture d esprit des valenciens qui te plaira le plus...."
Voila, j espère que tu as un petit appercu sympa.Pour le climat, je ne c pas trp, mais à la date ou il ma envoyé ce mail (12mars à 11h du mat) il faisais 27degré et il n'avait pas l'ère de s'en plaindre! ;)..

j´ai vécu à Valencia (mais maintenant je vis à Madrid...) et c´est plutot chouette. C´est une ville moyenne mais il y a de l´ambiance. Par contre pour le travail je ne sais pas trop ce que cela vaut en ce moment. Bref il y a le climat méditerranéen, doux, ensoleillé et humide quand meme...C´est touristique surtout durant les Fallas (en mars) et pour la Cup america ( course de voiliers) mais c´est surtout les alentours oú il y a beaucoup de tourisme. Valencia-ville en soi ce n´est pas bourré de touristes. Rien à voir avec Barcelone oú là oui c´est quand meme abusif ( raisons qui m´ont faites en partie déménager...cela rend l´intégration à long terme plus compliqué qu ailleurs..)
Cependant Valencia a ses expatriés comme partout...les anglais j´en sais rien mais c´est comme tout, cela dépendras si tu les cherches ou pas.
Le centre le Carmen est chouette. Je vivais dans le Cabanyal près de la mer mais c´est un quartier gitan (ca plait ou cela ne plait pas...moi j adorais). C´est une villa avec beaucoup de marchés typiques et tu peux circuler en vélo (chose que je regrette à Madrid cela n etant pas pensable).
Bref Valencia pour la qualité de vie et son coût est une ville très bien...
Par contre si tu avais chaud à Zaragoza ...et bien faudra t habituer à la chaleur mais humide en été...Et dans les aparts en hiver il n y a souvent pas de chauffage (donc bien penser à cela...j ´ai eu super froid...)
Je vis à valence depuis à peu près 6mois et j'ai très difficile pour trouver un emploi!

Je suis esthéticienne et j'ai travaillé ds un salon de coiffure ou je faisais que laver les cheveux et qqs épilations,
j'étais payée la misère (c'est tellemnt peu qu j'oserais pas le dire, lol)
De plus j'étais pas au courant de toutes les formalités qu'il faut faire, du coup j'attends tjs mon nie et je viens à peine de
faire mon affiliation à la seguridad social)...
La politecnica c´est bien...j´y ai fait moi même un erasmus il y a plusieurs années. Bon tu as le Carmen comme quartier du centre...par contre tu seras un peu loin de la politecnica et de la plage ( une demi-heure en velo ou en bus/tramway etc, , ) Je pense que dans le centre c´est le meilleur quartier avec le barrio ruzafa (quartier centrique du style de Barbès/ belleville pour Paris...pour te donner une idée)
Moi je vivais au Cabanyal c´est tout près de la fac et au bord de la mer...par contre c´est un quartier gitan...faut aimer!!!

Pour le boulot, les amis, et bien oui c´est pas simple....les espagnols galerent aussi, donc les petits français également!!!
Et les salaires c´est pas mirobolant...nulle part dans ce pays.Par contre faut négocier votre salaire! C´est libéral ici donc faut batailler pour l´argent, et faire respecter ses horaires de travail et se faire payer ses heures supplementaires. Les espagnols ne les réclament pas, mais légalement il faut vraiment pas se laisser faire...sinon ils abusent de partout.( et pas parce que vous êtes français...on appelle cela la picaresca espagnole, l´art de tirer sur la corde.
Pour les femmes: c´est compliqué d´obtenir un poste à responsabilités et nous sommes ici payées 30 % de moins que les hommes...donc à bon entendeur, là aussi il y a discrimination mais faut encore insister à vous faire payer decemment ( si on vous propose 500 euros, refusez!!! ne rentrez pas dans le systéme pour vous faire exploiter!!!)
Concernant vos contrat et nomina, lisez-les bien....on peut avoir des surprises comme se rendre compte que toutes les heures ne sont pas cotisées à la sécu...cela m´est arrivé)

je suis ds une situation semblable mais je suis d'origine marocain et j'ai une entreprise au maroc que j'ai arreté 🙁, alors d'ici une semaine je serai en espagne avec un visa touristique durant un mois, et je compte de chercher un boulot labas et de s'instaler 😄, mais il y a plusieurs étapes que j'igniore, est ce que c possible de le faire 🤪 d'abord ? quels sont les étapes administratifs à suivre ? existent-t-ils des boulots pour les francophones et qui ne comprenent pas l'espagnole ? mon frêre m'invite chez lui à castelon 😇, est ce que je peux trouver quelque chose labas ou je dois chercher à madrid et barcelone, je suis sans compagnie 🙁 et ça sera dûr à mon avis de s'instaler ds une ville comme celle là surtout que le coût de logement est trés chère et les salaires pour les calls centers ne sont pas du tout encourageantes (presque 700 à 800 euro/mois).
est ce qu'il y a des renseignements plus enrichissantes😊 .

Salut ! Moi je pars cet été à Valencia avec ma cousine (du 15 juin au 15 aout) et on voudrait trouver un job d'été là bas et un appart à louer (en coloc ou pas) !! Est-ce que c'est difficile à trouver tout ça ? On a pas d'exigence pour le taff et se doute bien qu'on sera pas payer une fortune. Pour l'appart on voudrait être dans un quartier assez bien (on est 2 filles) et pas trop loin de la plage. Il parait que pas mal d'étudiants partent en juin (rentrent chez eux) et donc laissent leur appart pour l'été mais on connait pas d'étudiants là bas donc si vous avez des tuyaux à nous donner, des contacts, si vous connaissez des établissements qui recrutent ou des sortes d'agences d'intérim, etc. faites le nous savoir, tout renseignement sera bon à prendre !!
