QU'est ce que je dois prendre comme affaires depuis Toulouse sachant que rien ne m'attend à Nouméa. Si je laisse tout à Toulouse, est ce que ça va me coutait cher de racheter là bas? Est ce que le cout de la vie est élevé??
Y'a t'il des possibilités d'acheter une moto là bas et de finir mon permis A???
J'ai effectué mon stage de master 2 à Mayotte et pour y aller j'ai pris un vol avec Air Austral, j'ai trouvé cette compagnie très bien, est ce que qqn peut me conseiller des compagnies bien sur tous les points de vu, c'est un assez long voyage donc autant être bien dans l'avion et se sentir en sécurité.
Y'a t'il des endroits mieux que d'autres pour se loger sur Nouméa? Y'a t'il des transports en commun??
As t'on le statut d'expatrié? comment est on couvert d'un point de vu sécurité sociale et retraite? y'a t'il une CAF qui donne des aides aux logements comme ici?

J'ai quitté la Calédonie il y a 8 mois (déjà...que ça passe vite...), donc je peux te renseigner sur certains trucs:
je te conseille d'apporter des fringues, des fringues et des fringues 😉, été évidement mais prend aussi mi-saison, 1 ou 2 pulls (pour les soirées camping fraiches) et coupe vent! C'est cher d'en acheter sur place, il y a des magasin connu d'ici : etam, carrefour mais c'est pas le même prix!
Pour les meubles et autres, tu pourras acheter d'occas, il y a beaucoup de turn over en calédo et donc pas mal de gens qui vendent leur affaires (tu as pas mal d'annonce à l'auberge de jeunesse, sur les journaux : le gratuit (http://www.legratuit.nc/), paru vendu, et des sites d'annonces (http://www.zannonce.com/)...). Tu as aussi pleins de magasins pas trop cher du style la Foirefouille, c'est pas de la qualité mais ça rend bien service!
Après tu as aussi la solution de la colloc déjà toute établie, ça se trouve aussi et tu as juste à acheter en général ton lit.
Pour ton permis moto, tu pourras le passer là-bas et acheter une moto. Pour les transports en commun, quand j'y étais c'était bofbof, d'après ce qu'on m'a dit des fois il ne passait pas ou n'arrivait pas à l'heure, fallait donc prévoir large pour arriver à l'heure au taf! Tu peux louer des voiture au mois ou sinon en acheter une.
Pour les vols, moi j'ai pris Finnair pour l'aller (il venait d'ouvrir le marché), c'est finlandais, je ne voulais pas d'escale trop longue! Au retour on a pris Air Singapour. Air New-Zeland est pas mal aussi (moi j'ai bien aimé) et sinon tu as Kantas la société australienne. Après ces compagnies t'amènent jusqu'en Australie ou Japon puis après tu prend air calédonie (ou un truc comme ça) obligatoirement (en tout ca quand j'y étais c'était comme ça).
Pour la sécu, ils ont leur propre organisme (la cafat) mais ils ont des accords avec la sécu ici (mais tu n'es couverte qu' un certain temps) renseigne toi auprès de la sécu, je ne peux pas t'aider plus.
J'espère d'avoir un peu éclairé, si tu as d'autres questions n'hésitent pas.
Pour ma part je me suis éclatée en calédo, dommage que ça soit aussi loin!

Une bourse de thèse pour 3 ans, venant de Toulouse ? Incroyable, c'est exactement ce qui m'est arrivé il y a maintenant 9 ans !!! J'ai fait mon DEA à l'ENSAT (Ramonville) et j'ai poursuivi à l'université de Nouméa, puis j'ai soutenu mon doctorat 4 ans après. C'est en effet un chouette expérience, et d'ailleurs mon compagnon et moi (qui est venu avec moi à Nouméa à l'époque) restons finalement ici alors qu'en arrivant nous ne voulions rester ici que le temps de la thèse... Par contre je n'ai pas valorisé mon doctorat puisque j'ai passé un capes et suis maintenant prof de lycée, mais j'ai privilégié la qualité de vie à la poursuite d'une carrière. Pour info, si tu veux rester en N-Calédonie après ta thèse, quelque soit ta branche, tu peux être sûre de ne pas trouver de boulot en valorisant ton diplôme.
Pour le moment, franchement, il ne faut pas te prendre la tête avec les choses à emmener ou à ne pas emmener ! Il y a tout ici. Tu pourras tout acheter localement, même si au début tu vas trouver qu'il n'y a rien (forcément en comparant avec la France ça change ! ... uniquement si on est vraiment très difficile). Les logements sont au minimum à 550 euros (studio). Ensuite la nourriture est plus cher, et donc on mange moins bien ici quand on a pas le budjet. Sauf que les calédoniens vont beaucoup à la pêche et ont des arbres fruitiers dans leurs jardins... donc ils s'en sortent bien. Après, ce sont les relations qui te font avoir ces produits frais.
Pour l'avion, le plus confortable est de loin Air France via le Japon. C'est aussi le plus cher. Sauf si tu prends un vol dans les périodes creuses (octobre je crois).
Bien sûr il y a des transports en commun dans la ville, assez bien desservie d'ailleurs, pas d'inquiétude à ce niveau. Pour le logement, je ne vois pas quel quartier te conseiller, cela dépend de ton lieu de travail. Le sud de la ville est normalement beaucoup plus cher et évites la Vallée du Tir. Sinon ça ne craint nulle part. Le centre pourra aussi être plus bruyant bien sûr.
Et il n'y a pas d'aide au logement comme la CAF, tu devras tout assumer ici.
Il n'y a pas de statut d'expatrié ici, tu es française un point c'est tout. Tu vas devenir résidente car tu travailles en NC. Ca ne donne ni n'enlève rien à ta vie.
Pour la sécurité sociale, elle n'existe pas ici. Si tu as une bourse de thèse du ministère, tu vas cotiser automatiquement à la sécu. en France (bizarre, et oui ! ), mais si ta bourse est calédonienne, tu vas cotiser à la CAFAT, qui est le régime de remboursement calédonien. Dans tous les cas, les remboursements médicaux sont aussi performants qu'en métropole.
Pour ce qui est rentrer en France et de te faire payer le billet... ça dépend de ta bourse de thèse encore une fois. Pour moi par exemple, j'avais une bourse calédonienne, et j'avais droit à un A/R n'importe où dans le monde pour faire un stage de thèse (pour faire des manips supplémentaires pour mes recherches) et j'ai fait ce stage en France (2 mois) ... Il n'y a de tout manière aucun financement de billet d'avion juste pour passer des vacances !! Il faut te dégoter un stage professionnel pour que ça marche, et c'est à ton organisme payeur qu'il faut t'adresser.
Question banque, tu auras besoin d'ouvrir un compte ici, il n'y a aucune reconnaissance avec les banques métropolitaines (sauf la poste). Penses bien à avoir une carte bleue internationale de ton compte métropolitain, qui sera le seul moyen d'y avoir accès (pas de frais de change entre euros et cfp).
Question vêtement, amènes léger. Oubli le manteau et les bottes. Ici on est en pantalon de toile et tee, plus une polaire la nuit en hivers.
