Nous envisageons de partir vivre sur cette belle ile, nous avons 2 enfants 12 et 15 ans, nous cherchons des conseils grace a des familles qui auraient vécues sur l'ile, villes (nous aimons les petites villes), école et lycéé, l'intégration est elle facile, les gens etc... merci a tous ceux qui nous aiderons !

Mada est grand et varié. Pas évident de donner des indications avec un projet peu détaillé.
Toutefois un renseignement précieux pour des parents : Mada est riche en école française qui permettent de suivre une scolarité normale.
Après le choix peut se faire entre hauts plateaux et cotes en sachant que les cotes elles memes sont tres diverses : chaud et sec vers le sud et l ouest, chaud et humide a l est et au nord. Cela des guides permettent de se faire une idée de ce qu on préfère.
Pour l intégration, tout dépend de ce que vous ferez et de ce que vous etes ainsi que du type de personne auprès desquelles vous souhaitez vous intégrer. Un conseil : faire les premiers pas car en général, les gens sont plutot réservés. On ne peut pas dire que ce soit difficile tt de meme a partir du moment ou on est pret a decouvrir de nouveaux modes de vie. En fonction de votre mode et de votre niveau de vie, vous rencontrerez divers types de personnes. De toutes manières il y a des communautés assez importantes de francais un peu partout dans le pays (ca aide souvent meme si on ne part pas pour cela).
Pour les villes moyennes ou il fait bon vivre :
cotes : Diego, Hell Ville, Tamatave, Manakara, Fort Dauphin, Tulear, Morondava, Majunga
hauts plateaux : Fianarantsoa, Antsirabe
Si je ne m abuse, dans chaque il y a une ecole francaise.
Ma préférée c est Fianarantsoa sur les Hauts Plateaux mais parce que j y ai vécu et que ma femme est de la bas.

A Mada, il n'y a qu'une poignée de villes et plein de village. Il n'y a que 16 millions d'habitants et c'est grand comme la France.
En revanche, la scolarité des enfants de cet âge ne peut se faire qu'au Lycée Français de Tana, car sauf erreur de ma part, les antennes comme celle de Majunga, n'assurent que le primaire.
La population est plutôt sympa, mais vit majoritairement dans une misère noire (non, sans jeu de mots). Alors est-il confortable de vivre dans l'opulence dans ce pays qui est parmi les 5 pays les plus pauvres du monde...? L'aspect "colon" n'est pas tjrs agréable... Et parfois mal vécu, car les blancs vivent avec les blancs essentiellemnt, car ils sont presque les seuls à avoir accès à ce qui coûte. Sans omettre le tourisme (vacances ou long terme) sexuel, très très répandu. Berk !
Cependant je connais des wasahas qui s'y plaisent et y vivent en harmonie avec les vrais malgaches.

Petite contribution.
J'ai moi même vécu toutes mes années collèges à Mada, à Antsirabe, de 11 à 15 ans.
Une grande grande grande expérience qui ne peut qu'être bénéfique pour toute la famille.
Effectivement ya des collèges français dans la plupart des villes (Antsirabe est de taille parfaite à mon avis. Ce serait une petite ville sympa à notre échelle). mais attention pour le lycée: c'est Tana, en pension, mais c'est cool ;o)
Se préparer quand même à la grande misère: comment l'accepter, comment se positionner, comment y trouver sa place... pas évident, évident. Mais c'est une réflexion dont on sort grandit, même si on court toujours après les réponses (pour ma part 10 ans plus tard!)
Se méfier de l'ambiance expat/Vazahas...
Se préparer à s'extasier, à tomber amoureux du pays, de ses habitants, à vouloir se fondre dans cette terre rouge qu'on se surprend à adorer....

Nous sommes entrain d'étudier le fait d'aller nous installer à Madagascar, nous avons trouvé des petits pavillons sur Majunga et nous voudrions savoir ce que vous en pensez. Notre but étant de proposer des petites locations avec des sorties en mer pour de la pêche au gros qu serait organisé par mon ami et des locaux ainsi qu'un petit coin restauration avec de la cuisine locale, pensez vous que nous aurons des ifficultées à monter ce genre de projet sur place?
