Nous sommes un jeune couple et pour raison professionnelle, nous allons peut-être nous expatrier à Morondava à Madagascar.
Est-ce qu'il y a des gens qui connaissent cette ville ?
Nous ne sommes jamais allés à Madagascar mais nous avons déjà des expériences d'expatriation (Inde, Amérique du Sud et Asie du Sud Est).
Nous nous posons des questions sur la vie quotidienne à Morondava : coût d'un logement, nourriture etc... déplacements activités (sportives, culturelles, festives, etc...)
Nous avons lu qu'il y avait une certaine activité touristique. Qu'en est-il exactement ?
Est il facile de nouer des relations avec les locaux et de s'intégrer dans la vie locale en général ?
Est ce qu'il y a des ONG/associations s'investissant dans cette ville ?
Tout simplement est ce qu'il est agréable de vivre à Morondava ?
si en soit elle n est pas touristique elle est un carrefour pour aller au tsingy, à l allée des baobabs et sur belo sur mer
en tant que capitale du menabé elle est aussi la rencontre administrative du coin
il y a des ong tu les reconnais facile c est eux qui ont les plus belles villa et 4 * 4 et quand tu vois une personne suffisante qui hais les touristes ... c est qu elle travaille dans une ong
tu te loge facilement sur morondava bien et pas cher de meme que pour la bouffe.
il faut plutot aimer la nature que la culture paillette
morondava est agreable pour qui aime la tranquilité. bon quand meme tu es au bord de la mer c est toujours plus simple d etre bien
les gens sont sympa et abordable bien sur c est un probleme personnel certains aime aller vers les autres et la tu n aura pas de probleme d autres dise j aime le contact mais ne save pas le prendre donc difficile de repondre.
morondava a ete je ne sais pas si cela perdure une destination baba cool rmi carte de credit de papa
globalement moi j aime bien ... mais bon j aime tout
Il faut connaitre, les limites du possible, non, pour s'arrêter, mais pour tenter l'impossible, dans de meilleurs conditions ...

J'ai justement travaillé dans un ong à Morondava durant 1an, des ong, y en a partt à mada. Moi et mon mari souhaitons vivre un jour à Morondava pour plusieurs raison: la vie est - chère, les gens sont très sympa, y a la mer et le soleil tte l'année( surtt que mon mari aime les plongées). C'est aussi une ville touristique avec sa plage à perte de vue; l'allée des baobab à une vingtaine de km, et également le tsingy.
Et encore pr plusieurs autres raisons....
Il y a même des ONG qui se balladent en charrette à zébu et se tapent des heures de piste pour aller aider, soigner ceux qui n'ont pas même une aspirine pour soulager la douleur !
Il y a des médecins, des chirurgiens qui se déplacent en 4X4 pour aller opérer les gens en brousse, des gens qui, mourraient s'il n'avaient pas accés à ces soins dispensée par des BENEVOLES.
Notez que ces toubibs ne sont pas payés, prennent sur leur vacances, payent tous leurs déplacements.
Allez aider et vous comprendrez (peut-être) pourquoi il vaut mieux avoir un 4X4 pour rouler sur les pistes, pour rejoindre des coins perdus où vous n'irez certainement jamais .
A moins que vous essayez à tout prix de relancer les discussions sur ce site...je vous trouve très ...suffisant et désagréable et avez des commentaires limite incorrects!

C'est gentil pour la première catégorie qui est, heureusement la plus représentative .Je peux vous dire que les ONG font un sacré boulot (non, je n'en fais pas partie). Et s'il n'y avait plus d'ONG demain, à Mada et dans tous les pays pauvres ?
Et tous ceux qui critiquent, si demain il n'avaient plus de quoi donner à manger à leurs enfants et les faire soigner ! Ils n'auraient plus les moyens de voyager, d'aller dans ces pays pour voir la misère .
Et que font-ils tous ces "bien pensant" pour soulager la misère ?
C'est vrai qu'on a pas le choix lorsqu'on voyage dans ce pays d'échapper aux conditions miséreuses de certains malgaches mais de là à affirmer qu'on voyage pour ça, vous y allez fort !( la misère n'est tout de même pas encore un argument pour inciter au voyage...)
Mais laissez la critique vivre sa vie car elle fait partie des seuls moyens pour faire avancer les choses et aussi pour permettre d'obtenir un peu plus de lumière où apparemment il en manque sérieusement.....les exemples récents pourraient être cités mais à quoi bon !
Quand aux rôles des ONG, il y a du très bon mais aussi du très discutable donc évitons d'angéliser, c'est tellement facile et d'ailleurs, personne ne constate à ce jour de véritables changements dans la progression inexorable de la pauvreté dans ce pays malgré le nombre considérable d'ONG présentes( plus de 200 ? )....
L'issue de secours de ce pays ne se trouvera pas en faisant appel à l'extérieur mais lorsque les malgaches seront prêts à résoudre leurs difficultés par eux-mêmes...ce n'est pas moi qui le dit mais le jésuite Urfer, récemment expulsé par le pouvoir actuel après quarante ans de présence dans l'île rouge !

je reviens de morondava notamment; je vais essayer de repondre a tes questions en vrac;
morondava est une petite ville cotiere du sud ouest; assez excentrée ( 10 à 12 heures de route/piste en saison seche (je l'ai fait c fabuleux mais epuisant) ou deservie par avion (1h30)
Activité touristique limitée à la presquile de nosy kelly (en bord de mer pour resumer)
c un peu encore une ambiance bout du monde; rues du centre poussiereuses, batiments en ruine; c sympas mais pour y vivre ca depend
QQ vazahas residents; mais globalement mauvaise ambiance entre etrangers
De plus tourisme sexuel et prostitution de partout.
Climat chaud quasiment toute l'année; très chaud meme à certaine periode
Pour conclure, j'aime bien morondava mais en vacances; pour y vivre ca serait autre chose
