Je décide d'ouvrir une discution sur "vivre à sainte clotilde" car je n'ai pas trouvé les réponses que je recherchais sur les forums.
J'ai 22 ans et j'ai l'opportunité de partir travailler en CDI (assez bien payé) à la clinique de sainte clotilde.
Je me pose naturellement beaucoup de questions:
Tout d'abord je voulais savoir ce que vous pensez de cette région de l'île, et des activités que l'on peut faire là bas.
Ensuite es ce préférable que je prenne une location proche de mon travail ou vaut il mieux que je me loge un peu plus moin (- cher, + agréable?).
Que pensez vous de la mentalité des gens là bas en général? (je sais ya des cons partout!!).
Enfin je suis pêcheur (sportif et respectueux), es ce facile de pratiquer la peche du bord et proche de sainte clotilde (ou saint denis). ou sinon a combien de temps sont les zones pechables?

Sainte Clotilde, c'est un quartier de saint Denis assez tranquille et la clinique est toute prête de la route du littorale assez pratique pour partir vers l'Ouest ou aller pécher depuis le bord sur cette même route. (15 minutes sans embouteillages).
Saint Denis, c'est la capitale avec ses avantages (boutiques, boulot, logement, vie) et ses inconvénients (gens moins cool, embouteillages, urbanisme). Après tout dépend ce que tu préfères. Si tu aimes la plage tu as St Gilles et ses plages mais gare aux embouteillages (solution : la moto),
certains diront Zoreille land mais coucher de soleil au bord du lagon et bruits des vagues ca dépayse.
L ile est trés sympa tout commes ses habitants, j'y suis pour ma part resté 2 ans, la première année à St denis et la deuxième à grand fond.
Bonjour bon salaire combien car ici il faut au moins 2000€ pour vivre la vie est chère, je pars à la retraite dans 2 mois et impossible de vivre bien avec ma pension à 1500€ ce n'est pas le bonheur.Mais si tu es infirmier OK .La vie ici est comme en métropole pas mieux pas pire .J'habite à Sainte Clotilde un F3 avec les charges chez APAVOU une agence 748€ par mois, les yaourts 3, 80€, ici la vie est chère sauf pour les fonctionnaires .A toi de voir
Mon salaire sera environ de 2500 euros net par mois, donc ca devrai aller (je ne suis pas infirmier mais peu importe).
Je ne compte pas aller là bas pour manger des yaourt et du fromage des pyrénées!! (je me suis quand meme un peu renseigné et je sais ce qui coute assez cher).
En plus je suis plutot bon pecheur donc je pourrais ramener un peu de poisson de temps en temps!! 😎

Enfin je voudrais savoir a quoi ressemble sainte clotilde; la distance de saint denis; et la distance par rapport aux coins sypa en bord de mer; es ce qu'il ya des endroits a eviter....

ecoutes moi je te dis que si tu as envie de voyager, accepte ta mutation, tu n'a rien a perdre. ste clotilde je connais pas mais je peux te dire qu'a partir du moment où tu as une voiture, tu fais ce k tu veux, l'ile est assez accessible. pour la peche, j'y connais rien mais tu aura le temps de découvrir ici. te pose pas tant de question!!, si tu es pret à t'adapter à la vie d'ici, viens et n'hesites pas une seconde; je suis arrivée il y a un mois sans travail et la vie se passe bien meme sans voiture, il faut bouger et rencontrer les gens, ici c'est formidable les relations que tu peux te creer !! je suis a la recherche d'un taf et c'est pour ca k je te dis k c'est dejà maché pour toi si tu as une mutation, tu as grave de la chance, profites en!! et tu te fera ton idée par toi meme!!

oui la vie ici est plus cher qu'en métropole, maintenant je gagne deux fois moins, j'habite en colloc à l'hermitage les bains, à 5 minutes à pieds du lagon et je vis très bien! bon c vrai que g fais une croix sur les paquets de Danettes mais je ne suis pas venu ici pour ca!
Pour la pêche, je sais que sur St Gilles et sa région tu trouveras ton bonheur. Rien que sur le port de St Gilles y a bien 3 club de pêche. En plus tu vas tres vite rencontrer des gens qui ont ou louent des bateaux et se font régulièrement des parties de pêche!
De même si tu aimes la plongée, tu vas en prendre pleins les yeux!
Je connais mal St Denis mais vu ton travail tu as certainement des horaires compliqués donc vaut mieux que tu habites a proximité. De St Gilles par exemple je peux mettre 3/4 d'heure pour aller à St Denis comme je peux mettre plus de 2H. Apres t'achete une voiture et tu pars te ballader ou tu veux! l'ile est petite! Juste le probleme des bouchons monstres!
En tout cas n'hésite pas à te lancer, c un endroit génial et les gens y sont vraiment tres gentil! Quant au climat, j'en parle meme pas!

devant m'installer dans quelques semaines à la reunion que je ne connais pas, pour raisons professionnelles, d'après ce que l'on m'a dit et j'ai croisé plusieurs infos, il est plus agréable de vivre sur la cote ouest de l'ile. le climat y est plus agréable.Une nouvelle route va ouvrir début 2009 sur la cote ouest, ce qui sera moins problèmatique qu'aujourd'hui pour circuler. Ste clotilde étant un faubourg de la préfecture, il y a beaucoup de monde. Pour la peche ou la plongée la cote ouest est plus agréable. Les plages sont plus belles, et, surveillées. Enfin, si besoin d'uatres renseignemenats, n'hésitez pas. A très bientôt. Jacques

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
