Hi there, Does anyone know if there are any works in progress at Torcello, and if so, what type of works and how long they’re expected to last? Thanks in advance

Check with the Venice Tourist Office—there are several, including one in St. Mark’s Square...

Good evening Thanks for the info, but since I like to try—"and I do mean *try*!!!"—to organize our trips myself, knowing whether Torcello was still worth the detour before leaving would’ve been great. Actually, since monuments are often under restoration (which is a good thing, of course), being able to anticipate a closure would be helpful, as we only have a week there.

Have a good evening

Hi,

"Checking ahead" meant by phone or email... before leaving, not once you're there!

That’s how I (me too!) plan my trips well in advance to avoid any hiccups.

See you,

Hi there, Exactly. Since I don’t speak Italian, it’s not my preferred approach. But Google Translate is my friend😕.

Thanks for the reminder.

Have a great Sunday
