Notre association recherche des bénévoles.
Nous nous occupons des enfants de la rue à Mbour (80 km de DAKAR). Nous avons deux centres ou nous essayons de redonner un peu de dignité et de bien-être à ces enfants laissés pour compte. Soins, jeux, ateliers d'alphabétisation et pour les plus grands apprentissage de la couture.
Comme vous êtes aide soignante vous nous intéressez beaucoup.

Sûr qu'il n'est pas facile de s'y retrouver entre les organisations qui proposent des séjours à 1000€ par mois et les asso qui proposent de te recevoir gratos ou presque, mais dans quelles conditions?
Si le Sénégal t'intéresse, si une mission dans une pouponnière, école primaire, orphelinat ou réinsertion d'enfant, tu peux me joindre en message privé. J'ai été au Sénégal et je suis en contact avec des associations locales. Attention, je ne suis pas une organisation, ni un tour opérateur, je peux te donner des contacts sérieux, des documents pour t'aider à préparer ton voyage, te mettre en contact avec d'autres volontaires qui se sont rendus sur place mais je n'organise pas de voyage!
Les associations que je connais peuvent te recevoir pour 5à10€ par jour logement et nourriture compris en compensation de ton travail (ce ne sont pas des vacances, on s'entend bien!)
Si un camp chantier humanitaire au Togo t'intéresse, n'hésite pas à me faire signe, je suis partie 3 semaines l'été dernier dans un village togolais. Le camp chantier humanitaire m'a permis de faire du soutien scolaire, rénovation/peinture, construction, sensibilisation et animation ! :)
Bon courage pour tes recherches, si tu n'es pas sure d'une asso il me semble que tu peux vérifier sur des sites ou avec le "gouvernement" si l'asso existe vraiment.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Solidafrica is a recognized humanitarian association of general interest. We donate wheelchairs in Africa. We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
