Bonjour, je souhaite savoir quel est le plus beau volcan entre Mayon et Pinatubo et Taal et celui qui offre la plus belle randonnée. Et si au passage vous avez des contacts de guides....

je ne connais pas le mayon, celebre pour sa forme parfaite mais souvent dans les nuages. pour le pinatubo, il semble que la trek pour y arriver se resume a 1/2 heure, les jeeps montent pratiquement jusqu'en haut, et te le font payer. excursion accessible en groupe, hors de prix en individuel. j'ai fait pour ca plusieures agences a manille et aucune n'a voulu me rattacher a un groupe. jai ete seduit par le taal et son originalite : un lac de caldera avec en son centre un volcan abritant lui aussi un lac. il est en activite, surtout des gazs.

le Mayon, quant à lui, serait inaccessible aux randonneurs, car toujours en activité et sous haute surveillance; souvent dans les nuages comme beaucoup de sommets philippins de plus de 1000m

Le Mayon est actuellement en alerte niveau 1. Ce qui signifie qu'il est interdit de pénétrer dans la zone circonférence de 6 kms du sommet.
Pour le Pinatubo, c'est vrai qu'il ont ouvert une nouvelle route qui s'arrete à 30 minutes de marche du sommet (1h30 de 4x4 et 30 minutes de marche.)
Mais l'ancienne route est toujours accessible (1h00 de 4x4 et 2h00 de marche) soit 4 heures de trek dans la journée. J'ai pu la faire avec des amis l'année dernière et le trek est sympa avec des paysages qui changent jusqu'au sommet. Prévoir un cheiche pour le 4x4 pour ne pas manger la poussière.
Des tours sont organisés depuis Manille. Départ très très tôt la matin.
La pub n'étant pas permise, il suffit de demander à notre ami Google une recherche sur "Pinatubo tour"
Le bon prix se situe vers 35€...

Taal Volcano is still a very active volcano and is constantly being monitored by the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology. Having a tour on Taal volcano is only possible when the alert level is below 2 (Taal volcano was under alert 2 on June/July 2010 and April/June 2011) Since July 5th 2011 the alert level is at 1 which means that a trek is allowed.

The public, however, is reminded that the Main Crater should be strictly off-limits because sudden steam explosions may occur and high concentrations of toxic gases may accumulate. The northern portion of the Main Crater rim, in the vicinity of Daang Kastila Trail, may also become hazardous when steam emission along existing fissures suddenly increases. Furthermore, the public is also reminded that the entire Volcano Island is a Permanent Danger Zone (PDZ), and permanent settlement in the island is strongly not recommended.
