Je prévois de partir pour un an en nouvelle zélande à partir de mai 2011 et commence à me poser pas mal de questions et voudrais avoir des avis des personnes qui ont déja effectué cet énorme voyage au bout du monde :

je suis actuellement depuis près d'un mois en NZ et je veais bientot (hélas) en repartir.Je voulais simplement te dire que j'avais payé mon billet un peu moins de 1100 euros mais je l'avais acheté 10 mois à l'avance.
Concernant les papiers indispensables, il te faut le permis de conduire international. Gratuit en préfecture et valable 3 ans ( j'ai failli me faire avoir).
Je ne sais pas de quelles informations tu as besoins ( il y en a tellement!) mais pose des questions et si je peux, je te répondrai sans problème ( du moment que j'ai internet évidemment...).
De vivre et parler tous les jours sur place t'oblige à revoir tes "fondamentaux" en anglais, mais réapprendre à nouveau ceux-ci ne peut pas être mauvais.
Je voyage avec le guide des frogs qui n'est pas mal et je pense que leurs cours doivent être appropriés à la langue locale ( prononciations légèrement différentes que l'anglais type ou l'américain).

Tu pars avec quel visa ? car il te faut une certaine somme si tu veux rester en NZ.
Tu pars pour l'hiver qui n'est pas très clément surtout sur l'île du sud choisi bien ta ville.
Pour ma part je choisirai Christchurch qui n'est pas trop grand et qui est sympa, ou en second choix Dunedin qui est une ville étudiante et dynamique et j'oublierai Auckland qui est truffé de Coréens (sauf si t'aime les asiats et que tu veux aussi apprendre le coréen) et qui n'est pas très agréable à vivre. Je ne connais pas Wellington donc je ne donerai pas d'avis dessus. N'oubli pas qu'un habitant sur quatre vit à Auckland, donc cela dépend plutôt si tu est citadin ou non.
J'ai effectué un tour complet de l'île du sud dans le cadre d'un tdm, si tu as des questions, n'hésite pas.
Je sais que j'ai prévu de partir au mois de Mai et que ca sera pratiquement le début de l'hiver, mais le probleme c'est que je peux pas faire autrement.
Le programme de mon voyage dépendra de l'endroit ou je trouverai une école pour apprendre l'anglais. Je pensais plutot faire l'ile du nord les 6 premiers mois. Commencer par Tauranga puis remonter sur auckland en septembre octobre pendant la coupe du monde.
Et faire l'ile du sud plus tard.
Le programme n'est pas encore établi et définitif.
Dans l'ile du sud, tu dormais dans des backpack ou t'avais un van? (Si tétais en bacpack, peut être que t'as des bonnes adresses).
Est-ce que t'a travaillé en NZ ou pas?
Dans ce que tu a fais, est-ce que tu a vécu des trucs que tu regrette ou déconseille de faire ou est-ce que c'était que du bonheur?

Dans mon tout petit tour du monde c'est ce que j'ai préféré, les meilleurs paysages que j'ai vu de toute ma vie.
J'avais loué un van au dernier moment à l'office de tourisme de christchurch.
J'ai parcouru l'île du sud en van pendant 15 jours seul avec cette magnifique nature, prenant ma douche dans les campings.
Je peux quand-même te conseiller une auberge à Christchurch: around the world backpacker dont tu trouvera l'adresse sur hostelworld, c'est un peu à l'écart du centre de christchurch (10min à pied) mais rapport qualité/prix c'est imbattable crois-moi et puis c'est pas bondé...
Pour l'anglais les Néo-zélandais ont un accent assez facile à comprendre (style USA), alors qu'ils ont une mentalité assez britannique, l'inverse de l'australie (accent de merde).
Je n'ai pas travaillé en NZ car j'ai voulu me faire des superbes vacances, chose réussi !
A propos je pense y retourner à partir du 28 mars jusqu'au 4 mai pour cette fois parcourir aussi l'île du nord et biensur revoir l'île sud.
Concernant le billet d'avion, le plus tot sera le mieux. Va sur le site de nzvoyages, ils font de trés bon prix pour le vvt. Sur ce site ils font les billet open, de plus tu pourra beneficier d'un stop dans un pays suivant la compagnie. Moi j'ai pris un billet aller simple. Je compte faire des stops en Australie et en Asie à mon retour.
Moi je pars à l'aventure. Je ne prendrais donc pas de cours de langue à mon arrivée. Par contre je comptes travailler par l'intermédiaire du wwoofing et de job.
Je te conseille de demander ton permis international.
Pour apprendre l'Anglais, la meilleure solution reste d'apprendre sur le tas.
Je te conseille de chercher une bonne adresse de wwoofing pour t'acclimater à l'anglais. Tu verras, ça sera peut-être un peu difficile au début mais tu progresseras très vite. 😉
Pour les billets d'avion, je te conseille un départ de London Heathrow, c'est bien moins cher qu'à partir de Paris et tu as plus de choix. Personnellement, nous avons prix Air New Zealand et je pense que c'est la solution la plus intéressante niveau qualité prix. Rien à redire.

Le billet d'avion est pris sur zip world pour un peu moins de 1000 euros. Bon, y'avait peut être moins chers mais ils sont super flexibles et très réactifs à tes demandes.
Voila, donc dans 4 mois c'est le grand départ. les six premiers mois sur l'île du nord et les 6 autres sur l'ile du sud. Peut être après faire un petit tour sur les îles fidji ou retourner en australie, c'est dans plus d'un an, il y a encore le temps.
Pour les cours d'anglais, je n'ai pas encore décidé, on verra bien.
