Enfin ce que j'attends de vous, c'est de m'aiguiller d'après ce que vous avez pu vivre et de ce que vous entendez - Tout ça bien sûr dans la mesure du possible 😉 !
D'abord, mon parcours, ma situation:
2007 - Juin : Bac L Spé Maths Mention Bien - Résultats très bons sur les classes de Première et Terminale. Commentaires des professeurs très favorables. Félicitations à chaque trimestre.
2007 à 2012 : J'ai travaillé dans des Clubs Vacances à travers le monde tout en évoluant et en pratiquant les langues (Français, Anglais, Espagnol, Italien).
Je suis convaincu par la nécessité d'avoir le diplôme dont je vous parle dans le titre de mon sujet et je suis donc à la recherche d'une université aux Etats Unis de préférence sur la côte Est (New Jersey, NYC, Florida, Mid-Atlantic, ...). Je pense avoir cerné pas mal les universités auxquelles je souhaiterais appliquer pour la rentrée 2013, ainsi que ce qui est demandé:
- TOEFL (minimum 80)
- SAT (minimum 1400)
- English Transcriptions (trad. des diplômes)
(...) et j'en passe.
Mes contacts avec les Directeur des Admissions pour permis d'affiner pas mal de choses, de mieux voir et comprendre les demandes des universités. A défaut d'avoir un profil avec un excellent parcours universitaire, j'ai préféré asseoir ma confiance dans le domaine dans lequel je souhaite travailler en travaillant directement (learning by doing). Des années qui m'ont largement servi et qui me permettent maintenant d'être déterminé.
Bref! Il y a tout de même une partie du processus d'admission que je ne comprends pas 🤪.

C'est là où je commence à me perdre! Eh oui! Quand on est un étudiant étranger, comment fait-on pour avoir ces crédits là?
Aussi, par quel organisme passé pour traduire ses documents? Lesquels traduire? Seulement le BAC ou bien aussi les bulletins de note de 1ère et Terminale? A quoi correspond une moyenne par exemple de 15/20 pour les Américains?
Quelles universités me conseilleriez-vous selon mes critères? (Métier visé concrètement = Directeur d'hôtel / de structure / de club de vacances...)
Vous voyez je n'ai pas tant de questions que ça, je prépare mon projet bien à l'avance mais j'ai surtout besoin de réponse et de savoir qu'avec un parcours atypique comme le mien tout reste possible.

- Pour répondre à ta question:
Commes les élèves américains peuvent choisir leurs cours à partir de la 4e/3e (matières et surtout niveau), on leur dit ce qu'ils doivent avoir suivi. Un élève français complète cela en fin de 2e en général. Tu n'as aucun souci à te faire, juste à montrer tes bulletins depuis la 4e. Cependant attention il faut préciser ce que tu as étudié, pas juste dire "maths", "anglais", "français". N'oublie pas que les maths de 4e= geometry et 3e= algebra 2, 2e= precalculus, 1e Calculus et Term Calculus AB. Je peux te filer un coup de main si besoin est.
Ta moyenne est calculée par rapport au pourcentage d'élèves qui ont la même note que toi. 43% des élèves obtiennent une note de A+, A, ou A-. Cela fait correspondre le A à 12. Un 15/20 ne se traduit pas numériquement: alors que statistiquement moins de 3% des élèves français atteignent cette note, l'équivalent américain (75%) est juste au-dessus de la note sans laquelle on est viré du lycée... équivalent à peut-être un 4 ou 5 chez nous.
Ton parcours atypique sera au contraire TRES APPRECIE des universités. Ce sera un plus extraordinaire pour toi, notamment quand tu auras tes essais à écrire, tu sortiras tout de suite du lot!
As-tu commencé à préparer le TOEFL et le SAT?
Le hic: le coût. Comme tu feras ta demande en tant que "freshman" tu auras droit aux bourses d'études, le problème c'est que peu d'universités dans la liste ci-dessus en proposent à part Bowling Green et Ithaca je crois (à vérifier en leur écrivant) - financial aid, merit scholarships?
BBA ou BS ou BA, les 3 matières citées ci-dessus (sports, événements, tourisme) ne sont pas les mêmes programmes.
