bonjour, je pars dans cette région dans 2 semaines, quelqu'un peut-il me donner des infos sur le camping d'aglou ? y-a-t-il des tentes ou caravanes sur place à louer ? tarifs ?

Camping d'Aglou près de Tiznit (Maroc)

😉 Bonjour à Vous. Et Bon Paques...sous la neige !
Je réponds à votre question: Pas de location de tentes ni de bugalows, ni même de caravanes. rien du tout de ce coté là. C'est un camping qui se trouve entre la route et le bord de la mer. question de nuisance = aucune! Mais pas d'arbres, c'est une grande surface ou les camping-cars viennent se reposer . C'est vrai qu'il pourrait y avoir quelque chose, car ce coin est vraiment très sympa. N'oubliez pas d'aller visiter les grottes des pécheurs qui se trouvent à droite du camping. Que je vous explique un peu... Quand vous arriverez sur Aglou, au dernier, mais au dernier virage, juste sur votre droite, il y à un début de chemin mesurant 3, 00 mètres de large. Prenez-le... c'est vrai qu'au début... les suspensions des voitures en prennent un tout petit coup ! voius allez faire comme cela 2 km environ... Là vous trouverez à gauche, au début des rochers, une petite gargouille qui se finit de se construire. Vous mangerez du poisson péché le matin même Plus loin vous trouverez une coopérative pour les pécheurs locaux. Celle-ci permet de vendre les poissons des pécheurs sur Tinznit et environ, que de vendre les poissons à la criée au coin de la rue comme j'ai pû le voir ! Là au moins...la fraicheur et la propreté règne dans cet établissement . Plus loin, vous aurez un endroit fabuleux sur une hauteur ou vous surplomber la mer . extra. Mais faites- très attention de ne pas vous enliser comme je l'ai fais, je me suis avancé beaucoup trop prêt...enlisement...et quel folklo...d'un seul coup, un attroupement de gens est venu sans que je leur demande...Le téléphone "Arabe" marche très bien là -bas ! Tinznit est une ville très charmante avec ses remparts, ses couleurs, sa grande avenu bordéé de palmiers... c'est vrai que j'ai "craqué " un peu sur cette ville qui est en pleine évolution ! Allez pous faire inviter et partager le "Wiski-Bèrbère....( Thé à la mente !). dans ses grottes de pécheurs! tout cela dans un cadre idylique, peu de gens y viennent...c'est bien, sinon l'homme, bitumerait le chemin, et là... quelle catastrophe ... Faut au moins laisser certains sites vivre comme il se doit, dans leur plus simple tradition .. sans pouvoir en faire des concentrations de touristes énormes ! vous voyez ce que je veux dire ? 🤪 je vous souhaite de bons moment sur ces lieux-ci... aportez toute votre gentillesse et vous verrez...ils vous le rendront ! tout est vrai ! sauf peut être que la criée " officielle " si elle est terminée de construction, n est pas encore ouverte! le camping est en reconstruction, et n'offre actuellement que peu de confort, en attendant l année prochaine!
vous avez un hôtel avec vue et restaurant face a l océan pour peu chère !

je suis a votre disposition si vous voulez d autres renseignements : je suis sur place!

tu parles du petit " resto" qui se trouve au bord de l eau un peu en hauteur au dessus des rochers?
j y ai mangé un excellent tajine cet été au retour de la pêche, mais depuis rien n a été fait!
je crois même qu il n ouvre plus en attendant les touristes?? dommage c est un endroit bien sympa
il fait très beau actuellement avec une température sympa ( 20/25 ) nous avons eu du vent du sud la semaine dernière : 32° sur Aglou et Agadir!!

J'y suis allé debut janvier pour faire le sud En passant on a camper 1 nuit en campin car. Je dois dire que je ne pense pas que la loation de tente ou caravane soit de rigueur ici. Ou alors il faut prendre son materiel. Bonne route

l hotel d Aglou, avec chambre " sur mer " me propose, grande chambre 350 DH avec petit dej! 310 DH si recomandés par Michel et Valérie ( sympa!) dispo pour l instant courant début Mai, le plus simple tu les appelle au 00 212 62 94 34 72 de la part de Michel et Valérie d' Aglou!!
sinon reste le chant du chameau, gites en dur et tente Berbère! je connais moins mais je peux également passer les voir....

je ne connais pas assez bien les pistes de cette région, par contre j ai envoyé des amis ver les plages blanches, avec halte a fort bou jeriff, ils se sont régalés, ils sont passés par une piste un peu trialisante par endroits, qui part de Sidi Ifni ( ou qui arrive si tu viens du sud ) qui est superbe

je vous propose d'aller a sidi ifni ya un camping très bien avec des bangalous et c'est tout près de la mer..et les prix sont raisonables...

oui l' hotel d'Aglou est correct mais le retaurant est nul ;il est preferable de manger à celui de la promenade de la plage ; à part ça, pas grand chose à faire à Aglou, hormis la baignade ( dangereuse ) et les 2 ou 3 balades decrites avant ;et puis à Aglou, en dehors des vacances scolaires, il n' y a que des touristes ou des residents etrangers ; depaysement peu garanti ... il y a au Maroc plein d' endroits 1000 fois mieux .
c est vrai pour le restaurant, mais je ne suis pas d accord pour le reste, ya plein de choses a faire et a voir, et ya beaucoup plus de marocains que tu ne sembles le croire!

c'est vrai, aglou est un endroit charmant, très propre, très vivant et bien fréquenté le week end. La mer n'est pas plus dangereuse qu'ailleurs (sauf pour les imprudents !) . Nous y trouvons de bons restaurants pas chers, un camping sympa (6€/jour pour 3 pers tout compris) avec eau chaude 24h/24h (ce que nous ne trouvons pas partout !)
Je conseille aglou comme "point de chute"

ok il y a du monde les week-ends et pendant les congés scolaires ; Aglou c' est la plage dr Tiznit . mais en dehors de ces periodes, je suis desolé, on n' y trouve que des touristes ou des residents qui, sacs au dos, font semblant d' aller decouvrir une montagne quand meme pas tres passionnante ;quant à la baignade, tous les Tiznitis savent qu' elle y est dangerereuse . Non ce n' est pas une halte idéale, à moins de rechercher l' isolement .Tiznit est plus interessante ainsi que Sidi-Ifni qui, malgré son allure de ville endormie qui ne se reveille que de 18h30 à 22h30 avec une population insoupçonnée de jeunes et de moins jeunes est bien plus charmante que la morne Aglou .

Non, il est super zen le camping d'Aglou et même en travaux a ma dernière visite en octobre dernier.C'est un village très calme, pas spécialement joli ( constructions très récentes ) mais très sympa quand même, le mer est absolument magnifique, super spot de surf......tout ça, tout ça..... j' adore le maroc, j'ai beaucoup aimé Aglou... voila 😄

Aglou charmant ? tu me fais rire ; charmantes ces consructions neuves enchevétrées ? charmantes les ordures pas ramassées ? charmant le petit souk cradingue pres de la plage ? quant aux petits restos, il n' existe vraiment que dans ton imagination ; celui de la promenade de la plage est correct et c' est bien tout . les environs sont sauvages, c' est vrai, mais bon, dans le genre bourgade de bord de mer il y a au Maroc bcp bcp mieux que ce faux village de residents etrangers .
en fait, c est très simple, tu n aimes pas : tu ne viens pas! moi j y suis très bien..... et mes voisins sont Marocains...

en fait, je suis venu tres souvent à Aglou pour la simple raison que j' aime beaucoup Tiznit et que malheureusement je n'y ai pas trouvé de location meublée ; j' ai donc du me rabattre sur Aglou, qui est tout à fait vivable bien sur mais sans grand intérét . au fait le 3eme resto il est ou?

I’m planning a trip to the High Atlas in Morocco and have a few questions for you: - Why do so many people recommend avoiding international agencies for car rentals? Can anyone explain why? - Is Booking.com reliable, and has anyone rented a vehicle through their service? There’s a pretty big price difference compared to local Moroccan agencies. - Is there a detailed road map included in the rental car? - Is Google Maps enough to get around the High Atlas? This will be my first trip there.

hi there, I’m heading to Tunisia 🙂 from April 27 to May 8 with my family. I’ve read through the various discussions about the country, but I’m still a bit unsure🤪: for currency exchange, I saw on the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs website that withdrawing currency with a bank card from ATMs is limited to 200 TND per week. There are four of us traveling by car, so that might be a bit tight! And it’s a hassle to carry a lot of cash, even if I’m not being paranoid! What do you all recommend?

After many trips to the south of Fès, I’m giving the north a try.
My plan is roughly to do a road trip loop from Rabat back to Rabat, passing through Asilah, Tangier, Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Akchour, Fès, Meknès, and Volubilis.
That’s a lot of cities. Probably a bit too many for our taste—we usually prefer more isolated spots...
So I’m looking for tips on little backroads, secluded beaches, half-day hikes, and offbeat places.
If you’ve also got recommendations for accommodation... (We’re open to splurging over 100 € if it’s a real favorite.)
Feel free to think outside the box—this is an open-ended plan! !😉

I’m planning to go back myself soon to reconnect with my roots... before I pass away...
I’ve started making a few pre-bookings for hotels and apartments to rent in Algiers. At first, I received friendly and welcoming responses. Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s been through the process about the accommodation attestation required for the visa application:
- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency. If you have any contacts you’d recommend, I’d be grateful!

I’m leaving for Tunisia in five weeks for a full 15-day trip. I’ll be arriving in Monastir and departing from there as well.
I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Just so you know, I’m planning to do this trip solo (25 years old), using only public transport and just a backpack. I’ve already been to Marrakech and climbed Mount Toubkal two years ago...
I’ll be arriving in Tangier. Day 1-2: Explore the city center, hike around Cap Spartel... Day 3: Stop in Tetouan Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!) Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad) After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF). Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

Tickets for entry to Majorelle Garden are only issued online via an official site
(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address
AND a password (with confirmation). Is this normal?

You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.

Mid-May: arriving alone (so, a "petit taxi"?) at Marrakech airport around 4:30 PM,
is it advisable to take a taxi at the airport (cost?) or is it wiser to book one through the hotel before departure (which would cost me 20 €)?
I think I’ve seen lower fares elsewhere (12 €?).
Destination: Riad Sijane near Djemaa El Fna square. Thanks!
