Je suis dans l'attente de mon permis de travail, qui va mettre du temps à arriver car un médecin (qui s'est occupé de mon dossier médical nécessaire pour mon travail). Je vais travailler dans la recherche et je peux donc avant d'avoir mon permis, rencontrer les gens et travailler dans mon appartement que je paie déjà en attendant que mon permis de travail arrive (envoie par mail apparement). Je pensais donc aller au Canada en touriste puis lorsque mon permis sera dispo, passer aux USA et revenir avec le permis de travail pour faire valider l'entrée dans le pays.
Pensez-vous que cela est possible ? Cela me permettrait de ne pas perdre trop de temps car cela commence à durer...

Bonjour, tu aurais pu commencer à travailler avec un PVT( permis vacance travail) très facile a avoir pour une durée de 12 mois . Ensuite tu as l'emploi de perfectionnement qui est nouveau sur le site de L'embassade canadienne à Paris qui est valide pour une durée de 18 mois max et pendant ce temps tu peux attendre ta demande de permis de travail. Tu peux poster tes demandes a partir du Canada, l'important c'est d'avoir un adresse en France.

Je te dis tout ça, parce que mon conjoint français a fait cela pour pourvoir travailler ici rapidement, il lui on remis son NAS à son arriveré aux douanes. Si tu as des questions, hésites pas a me contacter, il me feras plaisir, parce que je sais que c'est un parcours compliqué parfois.

Est-ce toujours possible en 2011 de partir au Canada en tant que touriste en attendant d'obtenir son permis de travail, puis dès que le permis est obtenu traverser la frontière canado-américaine et revenir au Canada ensuite pour valider le permis ?

Faut-il une preuve comme quoi ma situation va être régularisée si un agent s'aperçoit de mon statut ? (par exemple des billets de bus aller-retour entre une ville canadienne et une ville américaine ?)

Sans soucis, suffit de prendre une voiture et aller a la frontière la plus proche et revenir, le tout prend max une journée de Montréal. J'ai un ami qui la fait Ya qq semaines, a part lantipathie des douaniers, pas de problème. Bon courage

si tu viens en tant que touriste, en principe pas de problèmes mais attention tu n'as pas le droit de travailler sans permis de travail.
Par contre on risque de te poser des questions en passant l'immigration.

pas de soucis pour y aller en tant que touriste, tu as le droit de voyager tout de même. Peut être prévoir un imprimé de ta banque qui montre que tu disposes de finances te permettant de payer un billet retour (car j'imagine que tu vas prendre un aller simple si tu comptes y rester, ou alors prendre un billet open qui te permet de rentrer quand tu veux dans un délai d'une année, ce que j'avais fait avec Air Transat) si les douanes te posent des questions. J'ai un ami qui encore récemment a fonctionné comme cela. Une fois le permis obtenu (à ton adresse française) tu pourras faire le tour du poteau aux US.
La douane au Québec n'est tout de même pas celle des US.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
