Je devrais arriver vers le 8 juillet dans l'okanagan et je voudrais savoir quelle est la meilleure ville pour arriver et commencer a travailler. Selon vos experiences, qu'est-ce que je devrais faire a cette date? Ceuillete de cerises et ensuite pomme ou raisin ...? c'est sur que je veux avoir du fun, full m'amuser mais est-ce assez payant pour se ramasser environ 3000$ en 2 mois et demi? Je suis motiver et en forme, j'apprend tres vite aussi. Je veux y aller avec un amie mais elle veux savoir si sa paye asser pour revenir avec au moins 3000 piaces lol aussi vers fin aout j'aimerais arreter a canmore travailler quelques semaines... est-ce que sa vaut la peine ?? en toucas jespere avoir de vos nouvelle j'ai vrm tres hate c fou lol a bientot !😉

Je n'ai pas eu beaucoup d'information (meme si mon message a été lu 143 fois... lol) D'après ce que j'ai lu sur les autres convos, tu doit vraiment te rendre sur place et le début de la récolte c, est vers la mi-juin. Ca la dlair qui faut aller vers oliver ou osoyoos. Si ta pas d'experience les premieres semaines tu gagne entre 45 a 55 $ par jour mais apres sa va de 48 a 185$ par jour fack bref au début tu fait pas full de cash mais c'est plus dans la saison que c'est payant. Et les vendanges de raisin sa la lair vrm plus payant que les cerises donc pour se faire plus dargent. Dans le fond labat tout est plus cher fack c sur si t sul party a tous les jours ... c sa qui coute cher!!! :P lol

Je suis dans la même situation que vous mais avec quelques infos en plus :)... J'ai un ami qui a travailler un mois et demi dans la vallée et il s'est fait 2500$ en travaillant de 7 a 11 le matin et il passait ses après-midi à la plage. Appart ça je vous donnes un site avec quelques adresses des places pour le fruit picking http://www.bccherry.com/orchard-listings.asp vous pouvez leur écrire si vous êtes vraiment insécure mais bon, comme tout le monde le dit, le plus facile s'est d'arriver là-bas de prendre une bonne marche et d'arreter a toute les places jusqu'a temps que quelqu'un vous engages. En plus y'a toujours moyen de faire du camping sur place et ça coute rien bien souvent.
En passant moi je partirais entre le 14 et le 19 juin :) et je suis toute seule si ça vous chante !!
Pour ma part, je reviens au Québec dans les prochains jours et il se peut fort bien que je reparte vers la mi-juin pour la vallée de l'Okanagan.
Je prendrai probablement mon auto au départ de Chicoutimi. Je compte passer par Chicoutimi - Québec - Montréal - Ottawa et couper ensuite par les etats-unis.
La destination envisagée est Osoyoos, au sud de la province.

- Être totalement autonome autant monétairement, physiquement que mentallement
- Défrayer ses couts de logement en route s'il y a lieu (possiblement camping)
- Posséder son passport canadien et avoir aucune bibites légales pour passer les douanes américaines
- Savoir conduire avec sa tête en dessous de 120km/h
- Avoir aucun problème à rouler pendant 4 ou 5 heures sans arrêt comme conducteur ou passsager.
- Non fumeur
- Propre
- Payer sa part de l'essence estimée au départ. (À déterminer)

Hello, j'ai habité et travaillé 3 ans au Canada donc 2 à Oliver.
Pour la cueuillette il y a (20 ans) des cerises tu reçevais 7 dollars par bidon, si tu est rapide ça fesait 100$/jour, mais faut bosser 10-11h non-stop.Il te faut commencer à Ossoyoos, oliver, penticton , kelowna.

Je n'ai pas l'habitude de me retrouvée seule.
Mais tout de suite je me suis fait une tonne d'amis, les gens sont extras, y'a pres que jsute des québecois, surtout à Oliver !
Parfaoistu fais du pouce pendant 1h mais la pluspart du temps tu fais meme pas de pouce et tu te fais embarquer ahah
Bref n'ayez pas peur et foncer, ca vaut le détour en sacrament !

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
