j etait chef d atelier avant de partir depuis 3 ans je réparai des supercar , j ai travailler 11 chez mercedes benz mais je n ai pas de diplome autre que ceux de MB technicien diag cela est rédhibitoire en thailande et il ne vous reponde meme pas !! , nous avons essayer d ouvrir un compt en bank idem pas de permis de travail ou certificat de marriage avec une thail pas de compte ( a bkk en tous cas ), aujourd hui j ai decide d apprendre le thail dans une ecole a bangkok j ai fait le necessaire et vraissemblablement je suis eligible au visa ED etudiant , vous tiendrai au courant si cela interesse certains. prix de l enseignement , tarif assurance sante etc , je ne regrette pas mon choix de me lancer dans cette nouvelle vie meme si cela n est pas simple tous les jours, j aime ce pays 🙂
La question du compte en banque devrait finir par se résoudre si tu as le visa étudiant. Pour le reste toujours intéressant d'avoir une description des obstacles auxquelles doivent faire face les candidats à l'expatriation.

As-tu demandé au consulat ou à l'ambassade si ton corps de métier et dérivés faisait partie des emplois interdits aux non-thais?
Pour ouvrir un compte en thailande, t'as le droit, en tant que "non résident" d'ouvrir un compte en devises étrangères et ainsi profiter d'une carte de crédit.

donc aujourd hui les demarches sont faites je suis inscrie a sandee thai language school , 200 heures de cours 18000 bath et 1900 bath pour fed ex envoie des document en france pour faire la demande de visa ED , Leanne la gerante nous a recu tres bien et ces explication ont ete claire et precise j ai donc optee pour eux , UAU shcool language m ayant repondu que 8 jours apres ma demande d ' information de plus le nombre d heures de cours obligatoire pour otention du visa ED et sois disant de 10 heures pas semaine alors que sandee shcool l aurait pour seulement 4 heures par semaine ( le budget n est pas du tout le meme ) et je pense que si l on est motive 4 heures les exercices et 1 heures gratuite par semaine doivent suffire d autant plus que je serai avec des thail toutes la journee, j ai choisi de m y rendre le samedi pour une question de facilite le trafic et beaucoup moins important le samedi a bangkok et il me sera plus facile de m y rendre j avais le choix entre le lundi et le samedi , les document du ministere de l education arrivent en environ 4 semaine plus 1 a 2 semaine consulat de thailande a Lyon , il me restera plus qu a prendre le billet d avion avce date de retour dans 1 ans je pense je doit encore verifier ca , et "pointer" a l immigration tout les 3 mois avec les documents de suivie de l ecoleet donner 1900 baht , cela devrait ce passer comme ca si tous va bien :) voila 🙂

Imagine l'inverse, tu es Thailandais et tout ce que tu décris (le parcours du combattant) essaie de le faire en France, ne serait-ce que lorsque tu dis « je pense y rester » ça veut dire que déjà tu as cette possibilité en Thailande, quelle chance !

Perso, j'ai eu plus d'opportunités en 6mois en Thaïlande qu'en 6ans en France...à tel point que je ne sais quel choix faire😊...mais je veux bien croire qu'à Bangkok la concurence soit plus féroce! Ce qui compte c'est d'avoir des connaissances (pas des farangs piliers de comptoir hein😉) et être TRÈS bon dans un domaine😉.
bonjour , donc pour vous en dire un peu plus actuellement je suis en france est j attend les papiers de bangkok pour la demande de visa ED au consulat royal de Thailande a Lyon, j ai faxe les photocopies du passport il y a trois semaines , donc avec un peu de chance plus que 15 jours 3 semaines et les papiers seront en france !!! environ deux semaine de plus pour le visa et 2 pour tout cloturer ici ... plus que 2 mois !!!!!
je suis (du moins j'étais...) mécanicien auto. J'avais cherché un peut de taff dans cette branche à Bangkok, j'avais pas été jusqu'aux bout.... Mais de mon avis personnel, c'est difficile de réussir dans cette voie dans le circuit classique , Les concessions, (honda/toyata/isuzu etc) garages recherche plutôt des vendeurs, marketing etc le plus souvent Thaï, avec salaire Thaï . Pas mal de Thaïs sont hyper calé, les spécialistes en swap, bidouilles de cartographie, faisceau etc...
Les mécanos sont payés salaire Thaï (environ 15000 THB aux plus haut)... Tu peut éventuellement trouver un poste dans le management/formateur pour une marque et te déplacer dans les concessions du pays aux grée des besoins, mais le plus souvent ils demandent de savoir parler parfaitement Thaï et Japonais et souvent même si l'annonce pour le post est basée à Bangkok, tu devras peut être changer de pays dans quelques mois (japon/chine etc...)
Les Team de courses (Thai super car series, singha championship etc) (TeamVattana motorsport/vattana Unity etc); le plus souvent ce sont des japonais, singapourien ou riche sino thaï les boss, là il y a peut être moyen, je sait qu'il y as des farangs, idem en compétition moto... Tu peut toujours trainer du côté de petchaburi road à Bangkok (concession Ferrari/et autres gros garage dont j'ai oublier le nom qui participe aux week end de course aux circuit de bira) histoire de créer des contacts et aller à la pèche aux infos et je serais toi je demanderais une lettre de recommandation d'embauche à tes anciens employeurs en Anglais.
Si tu peut enseigner, tu peut toujours essayer King Monngkut's University of Technology...
Sinon faut monter un biz (j'ai vu 2 farangs qui revendais de la piece détachées de compétition en Thailande, sachant que les Thaïs adorent le tuning ça à l'aire de marcher plutôt bien), ou alors bosser via internet... il y as les petits boulots aux black mais tu tiendras pas longtemps à Bangkok...

bonjour Fexon , il y a longtemps que je n avais pas donne de news ^^ je suis a bangkok depuis d octobre en visa ED et en concubinage avec mon amie , le fait d etre etudiant me laisse pas mal de temps libre et je ne peux rester sans rien faire je m oriente donc vers la creation d une boite dans le batiment je prefere reste un peut vague sur le sujet pour le moment , je reuni les info , hier j etait a la chambre de commerce franco thail , je vais prendre rdv avec un avocat recomander par un ami et nous allons voir comment cela se passe mais j ai bon espoir , connaisant t bien maintenant les contraintes pour l ouverture d une societe en thailande je ne faot pas d illusion mais je pense que mon projet et viable , j ai le temps je vais essayer de faire les choses bien et dans les regles , c est pas le plus facile ^^
