How many days to visit Memphis?

Hi there,
The first stop on our trip is Memphis. How much time should we spend there to see the must-see spots?
Of course, I’m thinking of Elvis Presley’s house, but I don’t think Memphis is just about that.
Any suggestions for accommodation for 4 people?
Thanks for your feedback!
Memphis might be worth a day and a half to a max of 2 days if you add Graceland (and the museum), the Lorraine Motel for Martin Luther King, Sun Studio recording studio, and a walking tour of Beale Street. Don’t forget the Peabody Hotel duck parade at 5 PM (if it’s still at that time)!
Also, just for the scenery, spend 2 hours at the really surprising Bass Pro Shop inside the pyramid.
And that’ll cover the main highlights.

Memphis isn’t a city that leaves an unforgettable memory. I agree with what Caussat mentioned.
Graceland is worth seeing if you’re a fan of the King. There’s more than just the house to visit. For me, it took five and a half hours there.
Beale Street is best in the evening for the music. Don’t miss a stop at Lansky’s Brothers, the King’s tailor.
The Lorraine Motel is okay.
The Memphis Rock and Soul Museum is worth a visit. The Blues Hall of Fame Museum too.
In short, Memphis is all about the music.
For the ducks at the Peabody Hotel, it’s possible. The appeal? No idea.
