Fidèle de ce pays depuis de nombreuses années nous avons fini par nous installer pour y passer une grande partie de notre retraite. La crise actuelle a entrainé une chute très importante du tourisme dans le pays cet été, mais à mon avis cela n' est pas le seul motif ca depuis quelques années les prix ont littéralement explosé à tel point qu' il faut maintenant faire ses comptes avant de se lancer pour un séjour dans ce pays. Terminé la foule des jeunes sac-à-dos à l' embarquement des ferries du Piré comme c' était le cas il y a 20 ans, c' est le grand calme, ce pays est devenu trop cher pour la jeunesse et les Grecs font comme si rien n' avait changé... Pire ils refusent cette explication limite vexante ! Les tavernes sont toujours bon marché si l' on reste dans le traditionnel, mais faire ses courses pour vivre chez soi devient affolant (en comparaison avec la France par exemple), à la caisse les Grecs sortent les billets comme par enchantement sans problème apparant, c' est une énigme !
Je désirerai connaitre le niveau d' endettement de la population, population qui utilise le crédit "revolving" à profusion, sans se poser de question, une chose totalement inconnue chez nous. Quelles sont les dernières informations sur le niveau de vie dans ce pays et comment vont ils s' en sortir ?
Le taux d'endetemment est assez important, des chiffres disent que 1 Grec sur deux est endetté. En Grèce on obtient une carte bleue aussi facilement qu'on achète une pastèque. On peut même obtenir plusieurs cartes bleues dans différentes banques.
Par contre il faut bien voir que 80 à 90% des Grecs sont propriétaires grâce à papa-maman qui leur paye un logement. Donc avec ce poids là en moins c'est déjà un peu plus facile de vivre, même avec un petit salaire.
C' est très exact sauf que le phénomène s' est déplacé vers les parents qui ont financés le logement des enfants, ils ont eux aussi dans leur portefeuil une panoplie multicolore de cartes bancaires, et chaque année, chaque organisme de carte de crédit double l' offre de découvert vu que les remboursements ont été fait dans les temps... Cela devient la spirale infernale de l' endettement. Il est tabou d' en parler parce que ces personnes n' ont pas d' autre alternative que de tailler fermement dans le train de vie et les dépenses, démarche très difficile à faire et surtout à expliquer même à de très bons amis...

Salut Magne2, oui tu as raison, les jeunes sont partis à la découverte du monde avec la baisse des tarifs aériens, mais la Grèce n' a pas échappé à ce phénomène puisque c' est grace à cette baisse des tarifs que le tourisme Grec s' est ouvert à un autre tourisme celui dit de masse. Par contre pour tous ceux qui partaient en solo sac à dos l' explosion des prix en Grèce à considérablement freiné l' antousiasme pour ce pays. Ma question est plus axée sur l' endettement en général, je suis assez inquiet pour les mois à venir si l' économie devait continuer sa récession, les difficultées financières vont être terribles pour beaucoup de ménages car les banques vont exercer une forte pression pour retrouver leur mise, et vu le train de vie "à crédit" de beaucoup de personne je suis assez inquiet pour l' hiver à venir. As tu une info fiable sur le sujet de l' endettement par rapport aux autres pays membres de la CEE ?
On a un salaire en plus en décembre, un demi à Paques et un demi en aout.
Un 14 eme moi si tu veux. C'est la loi en Grèce. Tout les employés, secteur public comme privé sont payés sur 14 mois et les impots sont pris directement à la source.
L'endettement des Grecs n'est pas nouveau! C'est pas parcequ'il y a la crise que ça va etre pire. L'endettement a toujours existé en Grèce, ils ont des tas de cartes de crédit et doivent des millions d'euros aux banques. D'ailleurs les taux d'intérêt sont monstrueux.
Les cartes de crédit sont à débit différé. Par exemple si sur un mois j'ai dépensé 500 € la banque me demande de payer un minimum de 25 € et le reste plus tard et donc c'est l'engrenage.
Si l' endettement n' est pas nouveau en Grèce il y a eu quand même une très grande nouveauté qui est la crise financière mondiale...! Avec le fort repli de l' économie touristique en Gréce (activité N° 1 du pays) cet été, les rentrées ne sont plus les mêmes et les remboursements des crédits auprès des banques seront nettement plus compliqués pour ces gens par rapport aux années précédentes.
