En juillet 2007 nous quittont Ma Femme Notre filette de 10 ans Mon Ami moi meme biensure le Nord Québécois pour aller vivre 3 mois en RD afin de vivre une expérience parmis le peuple républicain, Notre filette fais l'école a la maison de puis 4 ans ce qui nous donne cette liberté, et j'ai par chance j'ai aussi un Grand chum qui est aller plus de 100 fois en RD avec lequel nous nous joindront dans cette expérience.
Notre but est d'y vivrent au moin 9 mois par ans
j'ai des questions a savoir la valeur en pesos de certains produit acheter non dans le secteur hotelliers, mais plutot dans les villages moin touristique de la RD.
Je vous nomment ces items: 2 Litre de lait Un pain de 650gr a peut pres Le riz 1 kilo de boeuf 1 kilo de poisson 1 kilo de poulet Quels sont les fruit et légumes les plus populaires et leur prix au kilo? l'essence

Le coût de la vie en RD est moins élevé qu'au Canada et votre liste regroupe les produits de base du Dominicain moyen (et non pas "républicain" !🤪). Par conséquent, si le peuple en RD arrive à manger malgré leurs bas salaires, je pense que vous allez aussi réussir à survivre !!!😏 De toute façon, lorsqu'on a faim, on paye le prix demandé et c'est tout.😎

Les produits enumeres sont produits au local.. donc, ne coutent pas cher. Sauf le lait, qui demeure un produit "de luxe" pour les moins bien nantis. Le lait en poudre, demeure plus accessible. Mais meme la, par rapport a ici, je me demande, sincerement, comment font les Dominicains pour survivre ?? Plusieurs produits reviennent au meme prix qu'ici lorsqu'on calcule le prix a notre taux de change.... sauf qu'eux ont un revenu 10 fois moins (habituellement). Le seul bien que je trouve de plus avantageux la-bas, c'est le prix de location d'un appartement. Biensur, l'alcool et le tabac aussi... mais pour le quotidien d'une famille, ce n'est pas pratique 😛
Mais, concretement, faudrait plutot voir pour y sejourner par 6 mois moins 1 jour.... je rappelle que l'assurance-maladie universelle, et autres avantages sociaux que nos impots et taxes nous offrent, ne sont plus en vigueur si nous sejournons plus de 6 mois a l'exterieur.
Petit detail, qui a tout son importance la journee ou on a besoin de ces services. Pas que le systeme de sante soit mauvais en RD, vraiment pas. Sauf, que les couts sont astronomiques...🏴☠️
Pour l'education, c'est tres bien si ton enfant est deja habitue a l'apprentissage a la maison... l'ecole publique n'a vraiment rien a voir avec la notre, et le prive demeure le prive.. donc assez cher. Mais la, c'est un choix tout personnel 😉
Si vous desirez vraiment vous y installer, peut-etre regarder pour une installation complete, avec sejours parmi la famille au Quebec. Une alternative realisable.
Deja, un sejour de 3 mois vaudra mieux que n'importe quel guide de voyage, video... quoiqu'en pensait un autre usager *mdr*

Concernant l'assurance maladie il me semble avoir vu en quelque part que ca revenais a environ 500$ canadien./personne.pour une année.
il nous reste 9 mois pour nous préparer avant de partir, moi j'ai une rente de la SAAQ depuis 21 ans, a cause d une fracture de la colone vertébrale, je doit m'assurer qu'avec 46000 pesos/mois pour 2 adults 1 enfant . on peut ''arrivé'' la bas au soleil, ca fais 3 ans que nous planifiont notre départ pour le Sud, nous regardiont pour le mexique, mais ce sera pour la RD, ma femme fais de l'exéma seulement l'hiver icitte au frette. le seul traitement efficace c'est le soleil donc on a comme pas le choix de partir...quel domage🤪 😉🙂
il nous reste quelque petits point a éclaircir pour ne pas avoir de surprise, chaque chose en sont temps

Juste un petit detail, effectivement 46 000 pesos par mois semble suffisant pour trois personnes pas de probleme, mais pour l'assurance medicale ici je paie 20 000 pesos par an, ensuite si on prend un vehicule, il faut compter avec, et l'essence est relativement chere a present quoiqu'elle ait un peu baissé ces temps ci 😕 nous etions a quasiment un euro le galon
je ne parle meme pas du cout et de la qualite des reparations................... les loyers sont extrement differents suivant l'endroit et le type de maison ou d'appartement, si l'on dispose d'un vigile etc etc etc il faut prendre en compte beaucoup de choses comme ceci ......... et quand on parle de vivre a la dominicaine, je pense que seuls les dominicains peuvent en parler 😉 pour le litre de lait.. c'est un dollar US 😎

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
