Je pars pour Cuba prochainement et je dois amener mon appareil pour respirer durant la nuit (sinon, je reveille tout l'hotel...) telement je ronfle.
Est-ce qu'il y a un risque que je me le fasse confisquer ou que je doive payer des taxes. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas ca, c'est un appareil electronique avec un tuyau et un masque...
Je l'ai amené plusieurs fois en voyage mais seulement dans des pays plus riches que Cuba.

J'ai un copain qui arrive demain, samedi, de Cuba et a aussi emmené son appareil pour son apnée du sommeil. Il m'a écrit durant son voyage sans me parler d'inconvénient concernant cet appareil. Il m'a mentionné qu'il l'apportait avec lui dans l'avion sans le mettre dans la soute à bagage. Je lui en parle et je te reviens sur le sujet dès que j'en ai des nouvelles.
Je connais quelqu'un qui enmène le sien régulièrement et il n'a jamais eu de problème avec : tout matériel de santé est considéré en tant que tel donc tu n'as rien à craindre !
Je reviens de Cuba hier le 22 Decembre.
J'ai fait un premier voyage avec un appareil Respironics.
Je n'ai eu aucun probleme pour le transporter.
Dans les deux aéroports aucune question au sujet de mon 2ieme sac en cabine.
Mon probleme a été que je n'ai pu l'utiliser qu'une nuit puisque branché a un adapteur électrique, le lendemain, aucun courant ne passait et maintenant je me demande si j'ai endommagé l'appareil ou le transformateur de celui ci.
Je suis en début de traitement et je n'ai pas retrouvé mon energie et je comptais sur ces deux semaines pres de la mer pour récupérer.
De retour au pays il ne fonctionne toujours pas.
Je vais essayer d'avoir du service en plein temps des fetes et je vous en reparle.
il n'y a pas de problemes pour apporter ton appareil pour les douanes, par contre prends le avec toi comme bagage a main supplementaire, il y aura pas de probleme car c un appareil médicale.
pour la bas par contre assure toi dA'voir un bon convertisseur et non juste un adapteur...
Appel ta compagnie qui te la vendu, elle pourra t'informer.

Mon appareil converti le courant du 220V au 115V. C'est sur que si il y a une surcharge de courant, je ne sais pas ce qui va arriver...
Je vais le garder avec moi en cabine.
Jaco, lache pas ca fait des miracles. Assure toi d'avoir un masque de qualité. Mon docteur m'a donné un Flexifit 405 au début...pour une question de modèle vendu ou il voulais m'envoyer. Je me défaisait la face avec ca. Jusqu'a temps que je m'impatiente et ABRACADABRA, il m'a sorti le Resmed Activa.
Il m'a donné comme raison que tout les masques ne faisait pas avec tout les visages...HAHAHA, qu'elle belle connerie... Une Acura sera toujours mieux qu'une Lada...ca depend pas du chauffeur hein...
Maintenant, j'endure bien plus ce meirveilleux masque qu'est le Resmed activa.
Je réitère mon invitation. Étant donné que tu as reçu plein de commentaires, informations de toutes sortes avant ton départ pour le Sirenis, il serait intéressant que tu viennes nous raconter ton voyage.
Hello ! J'ai emporté pendant des années mon CPAP, je le branchais parfois sur l'allume-cigare. Savez-vous qu'ils vont enfin sortir une batterie acceptable, pas trop lourde et pratique.
J'ai perdu 20 kgs et du coup plus besoin de l'appareil. Mais je reste toujours abonnée à la Newsletter, comme vous je suppose, et ils présentent toujours plus de CPAP très petits et maniables.
Finalement, on ne s'en rend même plus compte ! Moi je l'aimais bien, surtout en été c'était rafraîchissant cet air froid.

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.
