Je suis une canadienne vivant et travaillant à Ottawa qui désire partir au Vietnam pour y travailler quelque temps...
Je suis à la recherche de gens qui travaillent actuellement au Vietnam, surtout à Saigon. Plus précisement qui y enseigne le francais... J'essaie de me renseigner sur la difficulté d'obtenir un tel emploi. Je détiens un bacc en affaires et une maitrîse en Études internationales (selon le système scolaire canadien, je sais que ce n'est pas la même chose pour les francais), donc aucune formation en éducation 😕. Et surtout, le francais est ma langue maternelle.
Donc si vous avez des expériences à raconter, des conseils à donner... Faites moi signe!
3 de nos guides parlant français et prof de français ou littérature, étaient guides justement parce quìls n'avaient pas de travail.

Je vois... Cette loi, j'imagine qu'elle concerne l'enseignement publique? Donc les seuls possibilités d'emplois seraient au privé...?
En effet je parle l'anglais mais ce n'est pas ma langue maternelle. Je pourrai cependant certainement l'enseigner à des étudiants de niveau débutant et intermédiaire.

La langue officielle du Viêt Nam est le vietnamien. Le pays fait partie de l'organisation internationale de la francophonie et je ne vois donc pas comment le français aurait été remplacé par l'anglais. Il s'agit de 2 langues étrangères enseignées dans le public comme dans le privé.

En général, ça me rend quelque peu dingotte, 😠 mais aujourd'hui il y a du soleil à Manchester donc exceptionnellement, je serai fort courtoise!
Donc, je te souhaite bon courage! Car tu seras en compétition avec des français diplômés niveau Bac + 5 dans l'enseignement aux étrangers... Les candidats sont -trop- nombreux et les offres -trop-rares...
Ceci étant dit, je ne connais absolument pas le Vietnam, peut-être que personne ne veut partir là-bas et que c'est plus facile...
Pourquoi tu n'essaies pas de te former avant? On ne devient pas prof du jour au lendemain, langue maternelle ou pas. Il existe forcément des formations aussi au Canada!

Neanmoins, je suis entierement d'accord avec toi, enseigner une langue necessite de la connaitre "sur le bout de la langue et de la plume". D'autre part, enseigner, contrairement a ce que beaucoup s'imaginent, c'est un metier, pas un pis-aller. Je me demande parfois quelle consideration pour les pays en developpement ces neo-enseignants ont pour s'imaginer qu'ils peuvent arriver ainsi et s'improviser enseignant.
Ton pseudo me fait penser a un ancien qui a disparu du forum. Serait-ce toi ?

Dans plusieurs pays asiatiques, l'enseignement de l'anglais ne nécessite pas toujours un diplôme ou un certificat en éducation. En Corée du Sud, par exemple, il est possible et même très facile de se trouver un job d'enseignant, tant qu'on a l'anglais comme langue maternelle et qu'on détient un bac., peut importe lequel. Je n'irai quand même pas jusqu'à questionner la considération qu'ont ces enseignants pour les pays en développement...
Je cherche donc simplement à savoir si la pratique est la même pour l'enseignement du francais au Vietnam. Selon vos réponses, ce n'est pas le cas.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
