Je vous explique rapidement mon projet : Actuel étudiant en première ES, tournant dans les 13-14 de moyennes général (et dans le meilleur lycée de mon département, attention ), je projette, de partir à Montréal afin de rentrer dans une université, pour y étudier l'art et plus particulièrement le cinéma, pour ensuite me rendre dans une école spécialisée.
Mes questions sont assez nombreuses :
- Quels sont les principales différences des deux universités ?
- Les deux universités visées ( UQAM et UdeM ) proposant un programme de cinéma, quel est le plus intéressant, et quels en sont les principales différences ( Sachant que celui de L'UQAM est plus contingenté... ) ?

- Imaginons que je ne sois accepté dans aucun des deux programmes, quels programmes ( plus accessibles, mais se rapprochant le plus de ce que je veux faire...) me conseillez-vous de mettre en second et troisième choix ?
- Dois-je oublier Concordia, assez réputé ? Sachant que je ne veux pas avoir de trop gros handicap à cause de la langue ? ( Il me reste encore un an, et mon niveau d'anglais est plutôt bon, ( merci à la famille à Londres ) mais je ne suis pas encore bilingue.)
Et une dernière beaucoup plus précise :
- La production médiatique de 3 minutes à rendre pour l'admission pour les programmes de communication, qu'est ce que les jury attendent vraiment ? Une animation 3D serait-elle acceptée, ou faut-il obligatoirement faire avec une caméra afin de démontrer ce qu'on fait avec cette dernière, la direction des acteurs etc etc...

- la principale différence entre les deux universités c'est la situation géographique. L'UQAM est au centre-ville tandis que l'UdM est situé dans le quartier Côte-des-Neiges.
-Pour le cinéma, c'est plutôt l'UQAM qui se démarque. Les programmes en arts (cinéma, théâtre, communications) on peut dire que c'est un peu la spécialisation de l'UQAM.
À considérer également si tu parles anglais, l'Université Concordia qui est aussi reconnu pour ses programmes en cinéma. Il faudra démontrer un bon niveau d'anglais pour y être admis, puisque les cours se donnent exclusivement dans cette langue.
Donc je considérerais Concordia et UQAM, UdeM en 3e choix car les deux premières universités sont vraiment plus spécialisées dans les arts par rapport à l'UdeM.

Je t'avoue ne pas trop savoir si me lancer dans Concordia serait une bonne idée. En faite, mon niveau d'anglais est supérieur à celui des élèves de mon age, sa c'est sur. Je suis capable de comprendre un film sans sous-titre, je comprendrais pas tout, mais le gros je le saisirais. Je suis aussi capable de tenir une conversation assez facilement.
Cependant, est-ce suffisant pour y étudier ? Je n'en suis pas sur... Des étudiants français / étranger de mon niveau tentent le coup ? Réussissent-ils à s’intégrer facilement et à suivre en cours ?
Dans le cas contraire, des personnes m'ont conseillé le CREPUQ. En gros, avoir des programmes dans deux universités différentes... peut-être est ce possible, si j'ai la chance d'être accepté dans le programme de l'UQAM, de faire en 2eme et 3eme cycle un programme à Concordia en parallèle de celui que je ferais déjà à l'UQAM ?
Je ne connais pas trop CRÉPUQ, désolée. Je sais ce que je sais mais je ne suis pas familière plus que toi. Normalement tu peux poursuivre au 2e cycle dans n'importe quelle autre université en autant que tu sois accepté (bon dossier). Par contre, je ne me lancerais pas au 2e cycle tout de suite après, il me semble qu'après un bachelor il faudrait penser à avoir une expérience professionnelle, surtout dans le domaine du cinéma...
Tu peux postuler à autant d'Universités que tu veux et ensuite voir où tu es accepté et choisir. Pour Concordia ils vérifiront ton niveau d'anglais alors du coup tu sauras si tu as le niveau ou pas...
Il y a des étudiants de partout dans le monde qui viennent à Concordia, les universités montréalaises attirent des gens de partout. C'est sûr que la majorité parlent déjà bien l'anglais (comme les Américains) mais il y a vraiment de tout, Français, Asiatiques, et j'en passe.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).

Actually, I’m currently doing a postgraduate diploma in pediatric respiratory physiotherapy and want to specialize in that area.
