Ensuite j'ai vraiment du mal à comprendre le système éducatif canadien, c'est quel type d'étude que je peux suivre avec mon bac? Il s'agit du site web de l'Université Laval, la plus grande université dans la ville de Québec. En cliquant sur ''Admission, inscription et bourses'' tu trouveras plusieurs informations utiles sur l'admission à cette université. Au Québec, notre système d'éducation est divisé comme suit :
6 années d'école primaire (jusqu'à l'âge de 12 ans)
5 années d'école secondaire (jusqu'à l'âge de 18 ans)
2, 3 ou 4 ans de cégep, aussi appellé pré-universitaire
ou
1 ou 2 ans d'études professionnelles
Tu constateras donc que pour être admis à l'université, les québécois doivent avoir un diplôme collégial (cégep) pré-universitaire. Par contre, je ne pourrais pas te dire quel est l'équivalent du cégep pour les étudiants de la France. N'hésite pas à contacter l'Université Laval pour des questions plus précises. Pour ce qui est de la sévérité de l'admission, cela dépend du programme que tu choisiras. Quand je parle de programme, je veux dire le domaine dans lequel tu étudies. Certains sont plutôt contingentés et demandent d'avoir suivi certains cours précis, comme la physique, la chimie ou les mathématiques. Au niveau du coût de ta scolarité, cela dépend beaucoup du programme que tu suivras, mais cela peut varier entre 1000$ et 5000$, voir plus, par an. Je pense par exemple à des études de médecine qui sont coûteuses et demandent l'achat de volumes dispendieux.

L'admission dans les universités québécoises se fait sur dossier. Ils sont plutôt ouverts, donc non je ne pense pas qu'on puisse dire que l'accès est difficile.
En revanche il faut savoir qu'une année d'études ici coûte environ 2000$ de frais de scolarité... C'est pour cela que beaucoup de Français attirés par le système universitaire québécois (entre autres choses) viennent pour 1 an, dans le cadre des échanges Crepuq. Tu restes inscrits administrativement dans ton université française, donc tu paies les frais d'inscription... en France. Après il y a qqes démarches à suivre, mais c'est ça où 6000$ pour une licence complète (enfin, l'équivalent).

Avec un bac français, tu peux t'inscrire au bac québécois ! non ce n'est pas une blague. Ce qu'on appelle baccalauréat au Québec est l'équivalent de la Licence européenne. (bac +3 pour nous autres Français) 🏴☠️

La demande est à faire d'ici fin janvier-début février (si les dates n'ont pas changé depuis l'an dernier). Tu auras ta réponse entre... mars et juillet 🤪. C'est apparemment plus rapide quand on demande les universités de Montréal et Québec, pour Rimouski j'ai eu ma réponse autour du 10 juillet (mais j'avais un dossier un peu épineux)
Et pour l'année 2008 il est déjà trop tard il n'y a pas d'admission en février?
Si tu parles de commencer ton bac à la session d'hiver (qui commence en janvier), oui ça va être trop tard pour cette année.

mais il faut absolument que tu sois en échange crépuq, sinon cela va te couter une fortune
je confirme que tu dois t'en préocuper maintenant car il faut fournir beaucoup de papiers pour une échange
il faut que tu saches qu'il faut d'abord que tu dois être inscrit dans une université francaise
mon fils a passé l'année universitaire 2006 2007 à montréal en étant inscrit à la fac de rennes
il a obtenu sa 3 ème année de licence avec sa validation en france
mais pour avoir plus de chance, postule dans une université francophone, car tu dois maitriser parfaitement
l'anglais pour être pris dans une université anglophone
pour ma part mon fils était à l'ucam à montréal ou il sait très bien plus
je reste à ta disposition pour des renseignements complémentaires
par rapport aux dates, noira a raison : c'est pile le moment de t'y mettre si tu veux partir pour la rentrée 2008.
cependant, si tu veux partir avec Crepuq (ce qui est recommandé, ne serait-ce que pour le portefeuille), tu ne pourras partir qu'un an, et ce pas avant la 3ème année de licence (L3, M1, M2). Et il te faudra de toute façon être inscrit dans une fac française.
Il est aussi possible de faire ton baccalauréat en entier ici, à condition d'avoir un peu d'argent de côté (compter 1000$ par session environ, soit 6000$ pour un bac complet). Tu peux te renseigner au niveau des prêts étudiants, il y a sûrement des solutions pour t'aider. Deux de mes amis ici sont des Français qui sont venus effectuer leur bac complet à Rimouski.

Sinon je connais une fille à Sherbrooke, elle est venue faire sa L3 avec Crépuq. Elle est rentrée en France cet été, et puis elle est revenue à Sherbrooke pour sa maîtrise (équivalent du Master). Elle est en physique.
Avant de venir ici j'ai rencontré une autre Française, elle venait de passer 3 ans à l'Uqam (Montréal) en criminologie, programme qui n'existe pas en France. Aujourd'hui elle travaille dans une asso d'aide pour les victimes, en France.

L'Université Laval à québec est pas mal la moins cher et elle est francophone. Fais attention pour ce qui est des frais de scolarité car lorsqu'on est québécois c'est envirion 1200 par session mais pour les étudiants étrangers ce n'est pas le même prix est ça peut être très dispendieux. Tu as jusqu'au moment de l'entrée scolaire pour t'inscrire mais ton programme sera peut-être contingenté et si tu veux avoir du choix pour tes cours vaut mieux t'inscrire plus tôt. Renseigne-toi directement à l'université. Le logement à québec est moins cher qu'à montréal et si tu veux habiter aux résidences de l'Université, Laval est moins cher. Ici, Y'a des français dans pas mal tout les programmes. Vas-y avec tes goûts.
Un bac c'est 3 ans mais c'est 4 ans dans certains domaines, tu peux faire une maîtrise de 2 ans après et un doctorat de normalement 3 ans. Ici tu pourras travailler seulement après 6 mois.
J'ai aussi une question (plus ou moins posée sur un autre topic), peut on avec juste le Bac, integrer une école quebecoise qui demande le DEC ? Car je ne sais pas si le Bac est l'exacte équivalent du DEC 🤪
Un DEC est un diplôme d'études collégiales offerts par les établissements qui s'appellent le plus souvent des CÉGEPs (Collèges d'enseignement général et professionnel). Durée: 2 ou 3 ans selon le type de programme.
Les étudiants ont accès aux études collégiales une fois leur secondaire 5 (high school) terminé. Chez nous, on fait 6 années de primaire (6 à 12 ans) et 5 années de secondaire (13 à 17 ans).
Le bac français est plus ou moins l'équivalent du DEC, mais cela n'a rien d'officiel.

Oui, le BAC français est généralement suffisant pour entrer à l'université canadienne.
Je te suggère d'aller dans la section "étudiants internationaux" du site de l'université qui t'intéresse, tu auras plus d'infos. Si tu vas dans la section générale, ce sont les critères pour les locaux.

Alors voilà, je suis en deuxième année de classe prépa littéraire à Louis Le Grand Paris, l'année prochaine c'est la L3 en Géo, je suis inscrite à Paris 4. Mais il faut absolument que je parte à montréal avec Crepuq, donc je demande à ma fac pour l'année prochaine...et Paris 4 refuse toute sortie de ses étudiant avant le master ! Il faut donc que je change de fac, paris 1 ou 7...Bref, un transfert à effectuer avant l'envoi du dossier en février, c'est possible ??

Au Québec, les frais de scolarité sont d'environ 2000$ par année pour les étudiants québécois. Grâce à une entente, les étudiants français paient le même tarif.
Dans mes cours à l'université, il y avait plusieurs français, je crois donc que le passage du systéme de l'éducation français au québécois se fait très bien.
Pour trouver un logement ou une résidence étudiante à Montréal, je te conseille le site Guide Habitation, http://www.guidehabitation.ca/fr/logement-etudiant-student-apartments/ . C'est un excellent site que j'ai utilisé à plusieurs reprises. Tous les logements étudiants et les résidences étudiantes de la grande région de Montréal y sont répertoriées.
Je suis dans le même cas que toi mais je compte partir dans 2 ans ( et à l'ouest ) faire ma 2ème année de master pour avoir un diplôme canadien, ce qui me donne le temps de me préparer financièrement 😉
