je suis étudiante en tourisme en france et jai 20ans. je souhaiterai effectuer mon expatriation universitaire proposée par mon école de tourisme en thailande à bangkok. Cependant, j'ai une amie d'origine singapourienne qui vit depuis peu en france qui me déconseille fortement cette destination ...Elle pense que ce n'est pas trop sure pour une fille toute seule (je ferais l'expatriation avec 2 ou 3 autres personnes mais pour le logement et tout le reste je pense que l'on va se dévrouiller seuls) et que je ne pourrais pas sortir de chez moi seulement pour aller en cours.
J'aimerai connaitre l'avis de thailandais ou de personnes qui vivent expatriées en thailande ou encore d'étudiants qui y sont allés pour leurs études.

Bangkok, ville dangereuse pour une fille seule ? Pas plus que Paris, Londres ou Berlin. Je n'ai pas la prétention de connaître tous les quartiers de Bangkok, loin de là, mais ce n'est vraiment pas une ville qui craint. On voit beaucoup de filles de 20 ans voyager seules, elles ne sont pas plus menacées qu'ailleurs...

salut ho que la critique est facile bkk est une des rares megapoles au monde ou on vois des femmes seules a 2 h du matin .. et il faut vraiment chercher les ennuis ( home ou femme ) pour se mettre en difficulté ..
puis si cela peut te rassurer on est pas mal de monde a vivre a l'année ici ( aux 4 coins de bkk ) et si tu as besoin d'aide je suis certains que les membres seront la .. déjà tu peut dire dans quelle coin de bkk tu seras? comme cela un membre peut te donner un avis pour un logement dans le coin ......

Si vous avez encore des conseils n'hésitez pas à me les donner ! L'expatriation c'est pour septembre 2010 donc j'ai encore le temps cependant nos choix on était envoyé mais les réponses vont être assez longue.

si mes souvenirs sont bons c'est pas loin de l'aéroport .. 🙁 un peut excentrée .. dans ce coin il n'y a aucun probleme de trouver un petit condo .. ces chambres a la gueule de cage a lapin .. 1 pièce 1 mini balcon et une mini salle de bain mais pour moins de 100 euros .. ( vérifie si il ya le whi fi .. pour reste en contact avec vf .. )

Si ton amie est Singapourienne, ne cherche pas plus loin l'explication : les Singapouriens ont le crâne bourré par leur gouvernement qui leur ressasse "low crime doesn't mean no crime", le monde extérieur est dangereux, attention quand vous prenez l'ascenseur, etc. Quand j'avais raconté à une Singapourienne que j'avais pris le bus de Singap à Melacca en Malaisie, elle m'avait demandé - avec une tête effrayée - "mais ce n'est pas trop dangereux ? Tu n'as pas eu peur ?". Je me suis retenu pour ne pas exploser de rire...
Bref : Bangkok est bien plus sûre que n'importe quelle capitale européenne, aucun souci à te faire. Je n'ai jamais eu l'esprit aussi tranquille que depuis mon arrivée à bkk.
Si tu veux, un Singapourien qui va en Thaïlande c'est un peu comme une quand une fille passe du XVIeme qu Veme arrondissement de Paris... c'est la zone, ça craint ;-)
Désolé si j'ai froissé un Singapourien au passage, mais bon sans généraliser à tout le monde c'est quand même assez vrai ! :)

Aucun problème de sécurité ou d'intégration pour une étudiante étrangère... évidemment si on tente le diable, c'est comme partout...
Les facs de Thailande accueillent des centaines d'étudiants de toutes les origines et langues, et évidemment l'anglais est un facteur de communication international, avant de parler thaï (et qu'on te comprenne!)
Cette fac est très bien desservie par les transports en commun, et comme pour chaque étudiant qui s'expatrie dans ce pays comme ailleurs, le meilleur conseil est de contacter les assocs étudiantes du campus qui te faciliteront ton installation.
PS:en Thaïlande, il existe un grand respect pour tout ce qui concerne l'enseignement, c'est toujours une valeur très reconnue par la grande majorité d'une population qui d'ailleurs n'a pas la chance (et les moyens!) de faire des études.

Savoir parler anglais est nécessaire pour pouvoir parler ...
Mais on peut savoir et s'abstenir (se taire).
Ce que j'ai observé très souvent, c'est une sorte de terreur de ne pas parler
correctement, qui fait que les étudiants se taisent et donc ils ne progressent
jamais ... (c'est en parlant -conversation- qu'on apprend à parler)
Effectivement, en ôtant les complexes au départ ("je suis français"), çà permet
de briser le silence !

Ok, la je suis vraiment plus rassurée, j'en ai reparlé à mon amie et je me suis effectivement rendue compte qu'elle n'etaipeut être pas si objective. Je parle un peu anglais je sais tenir une conversation basique et je comprends bien donc si j'ai le même niveau que les étudiants thailandais tout vas bien ! Je contacterais quand je saurais que je vais la bas les étudiants pour avoir toutes les informations. Si certains connaissent cette école, as elle bonne réputation ?
Pour répondre à "thuan" concernant les chambres "cages à lapin" ça m'a un peu laissé perplexe ! je sais que cela existe mais il doit bien y avoir d'autres logements ? savez vous si c'est dans les coutumes ou du moins si c'est assez courant pour les thailandais d'être en colocation ?

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
