c'est bien de poser ces questions qui je pense d'aideront à faire un choix et prendre une décision: l'aide humanitaire est une drogue. Si ta première mission se fait dans la convivialité et la sérenité, si tu entres en contacts avec des populations très démunies qui te laissent ce genre tâches indélibiles et qui finissent par jurer par ton nom, tu ne ferras plus demi tour. Tout le monde peut soutenir une action humanitaire. c'est un problème de moyens financiers, de temps à disposer, de goût.
Notre association dans ses échanges assure le logement à tous les volontaires ou bénévoles qui nous aident dans nos missions humanitaires qui se font exclusivement en zones rurales. Les durées sont fonctions missions. mais je pense que tu devrais commencer par des missions humanitaires à l'étranger de courte durées et progressivement tu t'y mettras.

Oui on peut en faire son métier, mais attention l'humanitaire ne se fait pas n'importe comment.
Il faut se former, plusieurs écoles en France te donne cette possibilité comme l'institut Bioforce à Vénissieux ou encore L'IFAID à Bordeaux, tu trouveras toute ces écoles sur ce site, il est pas mal fait.

Maintenant, il serait intéressant pour toi de partir une première fois dans une association pour voir si tu es fait pour "l'humanitaire".

Je te conseille de lire le carnet de bord d'une personne qui est partis 3 ans de suite avec Santé Sans Passeport, une ONG médicale qui agit dnas des petis villages de brousse au Sénégal et au Niger.
Ca te donenras une idée du quotidien d'une mission médicale, vu par quelqu'un qui n'a aucune formation médicale. Il était accompagnateur de ces missions pour aider les médecins et infirmière d'un point de vue logistique.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
