Je ne connais pas le Maroc, encore moins Agadir.
Une amie née à Rabat/Salé me parle régulièrement du Maroc, avec beaucoup d'émotions. Les photos, les films ses souvenirs ont fini parme convaincre (il en fallait peu ...) et du coup j'ai pris la décision de m'expatrier.
Je vends les quelques meubles qui me reste et ciao !!
Je suis à la recherche d'un appartement en location, mais surtout de tous soutiens et conseils de ceux qui ont déjà eu cette expérience.
Très souvent les infos des sites internet ne sont pas complètes ou très anciennes; j'ai besoin de savoir l'aspect administratif du séjour, la qualité en générale des soins médicaux, la vie sociale, le coût de la vie, le climat, etc...

Avant de prendre la décision de m'expatrier au Maroc, j'aurais quand même essayé d'y vivre quelques mois pour me rendre compte.
Ce qui plait à ton amie peut ne pas te plaire.
Y venir en vacances et y vivre, c'est très différent.
Et puis il faut trouver la ville où on se sent bien.
Mais c'est vrai que le Maroc est un pays où il fait bon vivre et Agadir est un bon compromis pour un retraité : bonnes dessertes d'avion, grand choix d'hébergements, infrastructures médicales correctes, climat très agréable.

Prendre la décision de s'expatrier sans même connaître le pays me parait extrêmement risqué. Les photos, les films, les souvenirs ne correspondent pas à la vie actuelle, surtout à Agadir. Avant de prendre une décision, un petit séjour de trois mois en appartement meublé comme il y en a plein à Agadir, et hors période de vacances, te permettra de faire la part entre le rêve et la réalité.
Pour obtenir une carte de séjour au Maroc (CNI) tu dois justifier de revenus, donc avoir une entreprise sur place, avec des clients, ou un travail (qui n'est donné que si tu as une carte de séjour... à ton employeur de faire la preuve qu'il ne peut pas embaucher un marocain à ta place), ou des revenus réguliers venant de France. C'est pour cela qu'il est très facile pour un retraité de s'installer au Maroc, nettement moins pour un actif. Ou alors tu fais comme beaucoup de français, clandestin, en passant la frontière tous les trois mois.
La qualité des soins médicaux dans le service public est déplorable. Dans le secteur privé, elle est chère, et il te faudra une mutuelle, en plus de l'assurance santé de base que tu ne peux avoir que si tu es "régulier". Les mutuelles françaises rechignent à assurer les gens qui sont loin longtemps, donc en cas de coup dur tu peux te retrouver dans une situation très difficile.
En quittant la France, tu dois payer tous tes impôts (donc deux ans d'un coup), tu obtiens un quittus de l'administration, qui est nécessaire pour s'enregistrer au consulat. Si l'enregistrement au consulat n'est pas obligatoire, il facilite la vie.

Etant sur place, je ne resterai pas les bras croisés, je compte réétudier la langue arabe (commencée en primaire), et pense intégrer des assos d'aides diverses. Ça n'est pas tout à fait du tourisme que je compte faire; mais prolonger mes idées et convictions.

Lorsque j'explique être de droit et natif d'Algérie, j'entends dire être français de descendance. Natif de Sidi-Bel-Abbès à moins de 100 kms de la frontière Marocaine.
Je suis heureux en France où j'ai fondé ma famille, aujourd'hui je suis à un tournant de ma vie. Je vis seul, sans attache, j'ai envie d'autres choses.
Je suis à la retraite, mon salaire (2000€) est correcte pour la France, et mes charges sont trop lourdes. Je pense que j'en vivrai mieux au Maroc.
Ayant du temps, je compte occuper mon temps à faire de la vidéo et photos.
Informaticien, je peux me rendre utiles en donnant bénévolement des cours auprès d'assos. Bref, me rendre utile à moi même et aux autres 😉
J'ai aujourd'hui des infos sur pas mal de sujets, mais j'attends plutôt le "vécu" réel de ceux qui ont de l'expérience.

En ayant regardé ton âge sur ton profil, je supposais bien que tu étais retraité.😉
Avec 2000 € en tant que retraité célibataire tu peux vivre très confortable au Maroc.
En rapatriant ta retraite ici tu auras près de 80 % d'abattement avant impôt et tu n'auras pas de mal obtenir ta carte de résident.
Ce qui coûte cher par contre, c'est la couverture santé ...
CFE + mutuelle ou assurance privée au premier euro.

Depuis quelques mois, et plus particulièrement depuis quelques bonnes semaines je focalise de mieux en mieux l'endroit où je pense être le mieux: Agadir.
Lorsque j'étais enfant (11 ans), à l'Ecole Marceau à Sidi-Bel-Abbès, à la suite du tremblement de terre d'Agadir; notre Ecole nous demandait une participation, une entraide si possible financière à nos petits camarades. Tous les jours nous avions des nouvelles des enfants des Ecoles d'Agadir. Cela m'est resté, m'a poursuivi tout le long de ma vie; probablement pour ce pour cela que je suis marqué par Agadir et que cet endroit me fascine.
Donc après maintes recherches internet, j'ai trouvé une agence immo franco/marocaine qui m'a proposé un charmant petit appartement à Agadir. Il m'en faut peu, le soleil, la mer, le contact de gens sincères.
Sur le site de Mezgarne on y lit que les marocains ne sont pas très friands d'Asso mais que vers le sud cela se développe beaucoup plus. Tant mieux.

le calcul semble simple, peux tu confirmer?
Revenus annuels - 80%; l'impôt s'applique sur le solde différentiel ? c'est cela ?
Egalement, tu précises que la couverture sociale (santé) coûte très chère. Je pensais que depuis quelques temps il y avait pour les ressortissants, accord entre la France et le Maroc pour une couverture comme "en France"
Pour la couverture santé, oui il y a une convention entre la France et ici.
Si tu cotises à la CFE - Caisse des Français l'Etranger - tu peux te faire soigner ici et tu seras remboursé par ta caisse de sécu sur la base du remboursement en France.
Après, il faut rajouter les frais de complémentaire.
Plus une assurance rapatriement ...

Pour ton info, je compte tout vendre (meubles, tv, etc...), pas de bien immobilier, afin dans un premier temps y vivre 180 jours comme la Loi marocaine le suggère avant une installation définitive.
Ma demande est la suivante: concernant l'impôt sur le revenu.
Etant à la retraite, percevant mon salaire de retraité ainsi qu'une retraite complémentaire; dois m'acquitter de l'impôt en France, mais aussi au Maroc ?
Je suis allé sur le site: "selektimmo.com" où les informations sont intéressantes, sauf que je n'ai pas saisi l'hypothèse 3; il y a une remise de l'impôt de 42% dont je ne sais pas à quoi elle correspond.
Es-tu également dans cette formule ?
Autre chose. J'ai contacté la "CFE" à Paris. On me parle, toujours dans le cas de perception de la retraite, ceci: en France, il y aura toujours les prélèvements obligatoires des assurances sociales, et même la CSG etc...
à cela, la CFE. La CFE applique trimestriellement 204€ sur les revenus inférieurs à 25000€ ou 4% sur tout ce qui est au dessus.
As-tu une idée ?

Je sais simplement qu'en vertu des accords entre la France et le Maroc, il n'y a pas de double imposition, et si tu rapatries ta retraite ici, tu paies tes impôts au Maroc.
Concernant la CFE, je ne peux pas te répondre non plus, car j'ai souscrit une assurance privée.
Consulte aussi le site MFE, Maison des Français à l'Etranger, dans la rubrique thématiques, tu trouveras pas mal de conseils concernant la protection sociale.

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
I believe it’s time to bring this space to life to meet pressing needs and serve the common good of society.
The project is simple:
1) Grow maize + build a processing plant to produce flour

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
