Pour me connaître un peu plus : Je suis une jeune femme de 27 ans vivant en couple à Marseille depuis un peu plus de deux ans maintenant. Je travaille dans le secteur de l'hôtellerie (Reception) et mon conjoint est dans restauration (Service en salle). Nous aimons énormément nos deux metiers et prenons beaucoup de plaisir à travailler.
Le hic : Je ne me plais malheureusement pas à Marseille... Non que Marseille ne soit pas une belle ville, bien au contraire, mais le climat insécure, ainsi que la population (déjà très importante) et grandissante, et d'autres choses font que nous ne nous plaisons plus ici, même mon conjoint qui est pourtant natif de la ville. (Attention, je tiens tout de même à préciser que ceci n'est QUE mon opinion, en aucun cas je ne me permettrais de faire une généralité sur Marseille et véxer des Marseillais lisant ce message).
Je connais la haute savoie depuis une quinzaine d'année maintenant, date de mon premier voyage là-bas et nous avons une amie qui réside à Evian et qui travaille à Genève (mais seulement depuis quelques mois donc ses renseignements ne sont malheureusement pas très précis)
Je sais que pour nous, c'est une région où il y fera "bon-vivre" et où nous nous plairons. La Montagne, la verdure..."mon petit rêve à moi".
c'est pourquoi je me tourne vers vous : Auriez-vous des conseils à nous apporter afin que notre intégration se passe le mieux possible ? Quels sont les moyens les plus efficaces pour trouver un travail ?
Le départ se fera dans 6 mois approximativement.
Nous n'avons pas l'intention de débarquer avec nos gros sabots et prendre la place d'un suisse ou d'un frontalier mais dans notre secteur, il apparait une forte demande de personnel et il est vrai que les établissements Suisse représentent une certaine excellence dans notre secteur, ce qui est très attrayant pour nous, qui avons de l'ambition.
Je tiens juste à préciser que je ne souhaite pas vous faire perdre votre temps et que j'ai parcouru tout le forum en trouvant effectivement des sujets du même type mais le plus récent remonte à mi-2008.
Les mentalités et autre...évoluants rapidement, je me suis permis de poster ce message.

effectivement, je suis bien consciente qu'il va y faire très froid en hiver mais voyons le côté positif : ça nous évitera de dépenser des fortunes pour aller skier seulement 15 jours par an (les années où l'on peut prendre des vacances en hiver...).
Mon compagnon est lui ravi, sa planche de snow et toutes les affaires qu'il s'est acheté pour la neige ne resteront pas à la cave 11 mois et 15 jours par an !!!lol
La Suisse se referme sur elle-même...effectivement, comme c'est le cas pour tous les pays, mais elle nous offre tellement (quand je dis elle, je parle de la région, pas seulement de la Suisse...). Mais dans notre branche, les opportunités sont réelles et très très intéressantes.
Nous travaillons déjà dur et sommes prêt à continuer mais dans un cadre de vie qui nous conviendra mieux....
Dans le domaine de la restauration la pluspart des postes sont occupés par des étrangers, idem par exemple dans la construction, donc vos chances de décrocher un job sont bonnes. Vu votre provenance et avec un climat plus dans vos habitudes je conseille la riviera, mais pas vraiment compatible avec frontaliers. Maintenant à vous de choisir, si vous désirez bénéficier de la "qualité de vie Suisse" elle se paye (comme nous autres), sinon contentez vous des cités dortoirs.
Tu dis que vous travailler dur, mais excuse moi pour nous c'est difficile à comprendre! tes compatriotes travaillent 35 Hrs/semaine pour chez nous 42hrs, hors restauration (car franchement je ne connais pas vraiment ce domaine, mais j'imagine que la différence est identique).
Je ne suis pas du tout d'accord avec l'idée que la suisse se referme sur elle même, c'est un constante depuis de nombreuses années, mais elle recherche toujours à l'étranger du personnel pour des travaux que refusent les Suisses.

Quand je dis que nous travaillons dur, c'est bien le cas... les 35h me font doucement rigoler...dans notre branche, c'est purement utopique !
Je travaille à peu près 45h par semaine (déclarées 37.5h bien entendu et heures supplémentaires non payées, mais sinon, comment faire son travail correctement?) et mon compagnon frôle lui en moyenne les 55h! (voir plus en pleine saison!), ce qui n'est pas difficile à atteindre en travaillant 6J/7.
Nous avons fait pendant quelques années aussi ce que nous apellons les "saisons", 6 mois par ci, 6 mois par là, vivant sur notre lieu de travail et travaillant plus pour gagner plus bien entendu...
La Riviera nous connaissons bien ayant passé 2 ans à Cannes...
Nous sommes près à payer plus cher pour profiter de la qualité de vie de cette région effectivement, c'est d'ailleurs la motivation principale de notre départ : avoir une qualité de vie.
Si les 45h sont vraiment respectées en Suisse et bien je ne sentirai pas la différence et cela aura presque l'air d'un mi-temps pour mon compagnon 😉, si elles ne le sont pas : ce sont les exigences dûes à notre métier, nous en sommes très bien conscients et en avons l'habitude, nous ne nous plaindrons pas!
Nous sommes bien conscients de ne pas arriver en terrain conquis et qu'il nous faudra travailler dur, mais la qualité de vie qui s'offre alors à nous : qulle récompense.

Pour les horaires j'ai bien peur que vous n'ayez rien à y gagner, comme tu le dis si bien ce sont les exigences dues à votre métier. Les liens donnés par Knibe peuvent beaucoup vous aider dans vos recherches, je pensais que vous les connaissiez, car maintes fois donnés sur le forum. Je constate que vous êtes super motivés, alors vous avez toutes vos chances.
Sinon je parlais de la riviera Suisse et oui elle existe au bord du lac Léman, comme je ne souhaite pas froisser certain compatriotes et que finalement je n'ai trouvé aucune carte précise, je dirai simplement que les villes les plus touristiques sont Montreux et Vevey.

et merci de tes précisions ! Je suis désolé, je n'avais pas compris que tu parlais de la Riviera Suisse, étant du sud, mon esprit a directement gambadé vers la Riviera de chez nous 😉.
Nous sommes effectivement très motivés, comme tu le soulignes et mettons tout en œuvre pour réussir notre projet.
La région du Lac Leman est, à mes yeux (et aux yeux de très nombreux autres), absolument MA-GNI-FIQUE ! je vais effectivement plus me pencher vers cette région quant à mes recherches.
J'ai néanmoins une question purement technique : Comment cela se passe t'il pour les forfaits téléphonique mobiles lorsque nous vivons en France et travaillons en Suisse ? Existent-ils des opérateurs spéciaux ? ou bien seront nous obligé de payer chaque communication hors forfait (sachant que cela revient à la fin à une petite fortune...).
Comme tu viens du Sud et que ton souçi me semblait être le froid, je te suggérai la région francophone qui se rapproche le plus du climat méditéranéen, de plus la région située +/- entre Vevey et Montreux est très touristique=plus de possibilité de décrocher un job dans votre domaine, même sur les hauteurs. Le panorama est à coupé le souffle, avec de splendides vues sur les alpes. Dans cette région tu peux pratiquer de nombreux sports qui vont du lac à la montagne (de grands domaines skiables, comme de plus petits sont tous proche). Ce ne sont pas de grandes villes, mais elles offrent de nombreuses possibilités de culture et distractions. Pas vraiment loin de la France si tu désire être frontalière, par la route ou en traversant le lac, par contre dans mon souvenir, plustôt tristounet coté France. Si tu souhaite vraiment une autre qualité de vie, je te conseille de résider en Suisse, à toi de voir, car clair cela se paye! en fait nous payons à peux près tout plus cher. Pour la téléphonie mobile, désolée je ne suis pas vraiment compétente pour te répondre (j'utilise très peu), mais je ne pense pas qu'il existe d'opérateurs spéciaux. Je peux juste dire que proche des frontières les opérateurs changent suivant ta position et cela peut dépendre du modèle de portable (c'est à dire choisir). En plus je n'y connais rien dans les forfaits français, je peux juste rajouter que ma fille et son mari vivent en Allemagne et travaille en Suisse, pour tout les deux leur opérateur est Swisscom (Nous résidons aux 3 frontières Suisse-France-Allemagne). J'imagine que si ils ont fait ce choix, il existe une raison qui est certainement un coût moindre. Sinon par ordi il existe plusieurs possibilités de communiquer gratuitement, même avec l'image en prime, comme skype par exemple (parait qu'il y a mieux, pas encore testé).
