Je viens demander un peu d'aide auprès de vous!! Ma question partir ou rester??
situation :Je suis actuellement, comme on dit, "une jeune diplomée" en communication. J'ai fait mes études sur paris. Mais voilà...j'ai travaillé sur annecy l'été, en mission pour une boite de sport (cela fait 3ans que je fais ca...) mais cet été j'ai rencontré quelqu'un et cela fait 4 mois que nous sommes ensemble. Il est québecois, et cela fait 3ans et demi qu'il habite à Annecy. Et bien sur...car mes histoires ne sont jamais simples...et tant mieux quelques part...il s'installe à Montréal pour monter sa boite. Avant de le rencontrer j'avais décidé de partir dans un an à Montréal (j'ai de la famille là bas aussi) ou étranger pour travailler (1 an pour pouvoir mettre de l'argent de côté). Mais voilà le fait d'être avec lui me donne envie de me lancer maintenant.Aujourd'hui je me suis installé provisoirement sur Annecy et je cherche un job 😐 soit missions ou autres! Lui, fait des allez retour entre montréal et annecy (perso et professionnel car client en france)....c simple !
Mes craintes : Partir, ok ! mais j'ai peur de ne pas trouver un job qui me corresponde la bas ou que cela mette du tps. Je travaille dans la com et l'événementiel. Y'a t'il des opportunités là bas intéressantes ? Je suis consciente que je pourrai commencer par un p'tit job (en espérant que l'on trouve rapidement...) mais j'aime ce que je fais et j'ai envie de trouver une job passionnant.Vaut il mieux regarder déjà les opportunités d'ici (envoyer des lettres...) et voir. Ou dois je faire le grand saut et on verra là bas???tout en sachant que j'ai un budget relativement bas.....je pars pour les fetes à montréal...!!!!!???

Je comprends tout à fait tes craintes face à la peur de l'inconnu, je les ai eues aussi avant d'arriver ici, laissant derrière moi un bon job, une ville que j'aime, famille et amis.
Je pars du principe que le vie est courte...je préfère partir tout en sachant que si ça ne me plaît pas, j'ai la possibilité de revenir, sans remords ni regrets.
J'aurais du mal à te conseiller face à tes choix mais voici quelques suggestions qui j'espère t'aideront à avancer dans ton projet.
Le visa
Pour pouvoir travailler au Canada, il te faut un visa.
Il existe un visa très facile d'obtention qui s'appelle programme vacances travail. Il te permet de travailler dans tout le Canada et de faire du tourisme. Ce visa est gratuit contrairement aux démarches de résident permanent qui sont très longues et onéreuses.

Le job
Sache qu'ici, les petits jobs ne manquent pas, tu n'auras aucun mal à trouver. En ce qui concerne ton domaine, on te demandera dans la majorité des cas d'être bilingue.

Fais une recherche sur google et tu trouveras une tonne de sites sur l'emploi au Canada.
Il est très très difficile de postuler pour un emploi depuis la France car il faut être dispo très vite pour un entretien et tu commences souvent dans les 3 jours qui suivent cet entretien. Rares sont ceux qui ont trouvé depuis la France.
En arrivant avec le visa dont je t'ai parlé plus haut, tu bénéficieras de l'aide de l'OMI pour ton CV, ta recherche de jobs et divers organismes t'aideront à trouver le job de tes rêves. Mais un conseil, bosse dur ton anglais surtout si tu veux travailler à Montréal.

Ton projet de vie là-bas sera d'autant plus simple que tu as déjà ta soeur sur place.C'est toujours rassurant de savoir qu'on n'est pas seul si les choses ne tournent pas comme on l'aurait souhaité.
Je ne sais pas dans quel domaine ta soeur et son ami travaillent mais si c'est un domaine recherché ici, il est plus facile de se faire embaucher quand on est à l'extérieur du pays. Mais ce sont des cas rares. Sont-il arrivés avec un visa de travail ou sont-ils résidents permanents ?
Pour ma part, je commence seulement ma recherche d'emploi, je travaille dans l'immobilier, secteur porteur ici.
J'en ai profité pour visiter pendant 6 mois avant de commencer à bosser. Je fais du bénévolat actuellement pour une association et je m'occupe des immigrants qui maîtrisent mal le français, chouette expérience.
Sinon, Montréal....euh venant de Paris, je trouve que la vie est superrrrrrrrrrrrr calme ici, sinon il a commencé à neiger et je suis impatiente de découvrir les plaisirs des activités hivernales.
Si tu es là pour les fêtes, va voir dans la section rencontres, une rencontre est prévue à Montréal en Décembre, on espère t'y voir ....

Je suis moi-même étudiante en communication et je peux te dire que la meilleure place pour le métier au Québec est à Montréal. Beaucoup de sièges sociaux se trouvent dans cette ville et si tu as le moindrement d'expérience, tu ne devrais pas avoir de difficulté. Évidemment il se pourrait que tu commences en bas de l'échelle mais bon... c'est quand même une belle opportunité qui s'offre à toi. Cependant, comme Ailleursland le disait, il te faut sans contredit ton anglais et idéalement une autre langue. Mais si tu est bilingue et plutôt débrouillarde, je suis convaincu que tu arriveras à trouver l'emploi que tu recherches.

L'amour est incertain mais il faut savoir se lancer et y croire de temps en temps, sinon on ne se lance jamais...pêtre que la vie là bas sans lui, me paraîtera moins à mon goût, mais ca vaut pêtre le coup d'essayer ! Enfin je suis en générale très réaliste et je sais où je veux aller ...mais j'aime bien l'idée de vivre avec insouciance !

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
