Bonsoir;tout dépend de votre port d'arrivée, mais c'est bien de faire le cap corse, les agriates, la balagne.Ensuite descente sur porto, ajaccio, bonifacio, porto vecchio.Mais il faut également voir l'intérieur avec corte, la vallée de la restonica est magnifique également.
Les routes, c'est vrai sont assez sinueuses mais quand on roule à vitesse normale et en restant à droite il n'y a pas de risque.
Pour les hébergements, en juin, aucun problème

suis d'accord avec Mimi (coucou Mimi), pour ce qui est des routes, il ne faut pas exagérer, d'abord le réseau s'est considérablement amélioré. Certes, les routes de montagne sont sinueuses (beaucoup ont été élargies), parfois très, mais bon, c'est gênant sur certaines routes pour ceux qui débarquent avec des campings cars ou caravanes. En moto, par contre c'est super. Vous savez tenir votre droite, vous savez tourner le guidon à droite et à gauche ? alors pas de soucis, ça sera bien plus intéressant que l'autoroute et vous allez vous régalez !

j'ai fait le tour de l'ile à moto en juin 2005 et c'est génial .
la moto ideale : oui la mienne un guzzi california . la tienne, certainement aussi puisque c'est la tienne !
les routes dangereuses : oui, étroites et sinueuses et parfois revetement rude mais pas pire qu'ailleurs . pour moi, leplus dangereux sont les touristes qui ont peur de la route, qui ne connaissent des virages que les courbes du perif et qui s'arretent n'importe ou pour voir !
un conseil pour se rassurer surtout cote ouest, faites le tour de l'ile dans le sens des aiguilles de montre . ainsi vous serez cote montagne et non cote precipice .

voila, nous avons les billets, nous partons le 5 juin a 22h30 de toulon pour ajaccio, et retour le 15 a 8h de bastia, entre ces 2 dates on se balade

ayant fait le tour de corse en scooter 125 en duo puis en moto, et connaissant bien l'île pour y venir souvent, je me permets de te donner mes impressions.
tu as fait le bon choix de partir en corse en juin. les touristes ne sont pas encore là, et donc les corses ne sont pas encore excédés par leur comportement.
tu auras un super accueil où que tu ailles.
un impératif: montrer du respect envers les habitants comme envers la faune ou la flore .
le reseau routier est contrairement à ce qu'on peut lire ici ou là, excellent!! et surtout dans le nord.
du littoral à l'intérieur des terres, le bitume est lisse et les virages sont relevés pile poil, un régal en bécane.
mais attention, ça ne veut pas dire qu'il faut arsouiller. bien au contraire. il y a des fois où pendant 30 min, tu enchaines les virolos à en avoir le tournis tellement ils s'enchainent sans répit... mais grisant. le pied!!
l'idéal est de cruiser à 40 km/h pour profiter du paysage, et des odeurs.et d'utiliser le couple pour sortir des virolos.une bécane avec du couple est idéale, donc avec ton custom, c'est parfait.
concernant la bécane, il est impératif de bien régler la précharge des amortos ar pour éviter d'etre cassé en fin de journée en raison d'un mauvais équilibre av/ar et c'est pour moi la chose à faire la plus importante. fais des test avec le matos que tu emporteras.
les gens savent conduire et sont respectueux des autres usagers. sauf les kékés dans les grandes villes...
la bête noire, c'est le touriste en bagnole!!! mais en juin pas de soucis.
moi je te conseillerais d'éviter les grandes villes et leur bouchons et de profiter des endroits sauvages, des villages où le rythme de vie est plus tranquille et où l'on peut vraiment se détendre.
il faut compter une moyenne de 50 euros pour une nuit en gîte où hôtel. le nord est moins cher et les prestations meilleures.
charcuterie et pique-nique le midi et petit resto le soir.
compte 100 euros par jour grand maximum.
peu de risque de vol de bécane là-bas sauf dans les villes comme bastia ajaccio ou bonifacio.
à macinaggio, j'ai même vu un scoot T-max garé avec les clés dessus. pas de proprio à l'horizon . je suis resté 30 min sur place, le temps de faire des courses et toujours personne, j'allucinais.

Pas du tout d'accord pour ce qui est de la moto idéale pour faire la Corse.
La moto idéale c'est la mienne bien sûr : un transalp!!! Non, je plaisante!!!
En ce qui concerne les routes, pas le moindre soucis, il faut juste avoir en tête qu'on roule parfois à 40 de moyenne, mais avec des odeurs d'eucalyptus dans le casque on pourrait rouler à 20 km/h que ça resterait le paradis...
En juin dernier la route du cap Corse était en travaux tout le long côté ouest avec de grandes parties à peine goudronées et c'était assez "sportif". A part ça, ce sont des routes de montagnes comme d'autres et les Corses roulent pas plus mal que les autres!

Ah !!! la 500 XT, c'est sur que pour les virolos çà passe mieux.
J'ai fait la Corse il y a ..... en 500 XT, à l'époque nous avions une autre routière 900 bol d'or que nous avons préféré laissé au garage et vraiment y'a pas photo avec la XT çà a été le top.
Et je suis d'accord avec je ne sais plus qui, le danger c'est les autres........et ils sont gravissimes.
😉 bonjour je me prénome nadia je suis de lattes dans l'hérault, nous avons fait la corse en mai 2005 à moto varadéro 125 à deux dessus, nous avons parcourus 1500 kms un vrai réglal, les routes ne sont pas plus dangereuses que sur le continent, l'accueil des corses est très chaleureux et partout nous avons été très bien acceuilli.
Je rentre de corse, je suis partie le 29 avril et rentée le 11 mai par la Corsica ferrie très bonne compagnie, cette fois ci nous étions en voiture, je ralais un peu quand je voyais des motards. La prochaine fois je ferais la corse avec ma moto un shadow 125 honda sur, et mon mari sur la sienne la varadéro 125 vous pouvez partir tranquille, le tout c'est de respecter la corse et les corse. Normal, à savoir les cites à faire
les aiguilles de Bavéla, à coté de porto vecchio, ensuite les gorges de la Restonica, à coté de Corte, les calanques de Piana, en allant sur Calvi. Ne pas oublier Bonifacio. Si tu veux des infos, ne te gène pas j'ai toutes les balades que l'on a pû faire à moto et en voiture.
PS attention à moto tout de même il y a des vachez et cochon qui se baladent dans la nature
Un très beau pays je suis tombée amoureuse de la corse
je ne suis pas d'accord sur le sens pour faire le tour de Corse.
Pour y être allé 2 fois en moto et 2 fois en voiture, et rouler souvent dans des gorges (Ardeche, Tarn, Vercors, etc...) il est préférable à mon sens de rouler coté "précipice" si on peut utiliser ce terme, car la vue est bien plus dégagée pour admirer le paysage tout en roulant.
coté sécurité c'est pas pire que sur les autres petites départementales, donc prudence et anticipation comme toujours en bécane.
La Corse est vraiment magnifique en juin, ne restez pas uniquement sur la cote, la montagne du coté de Bavella est de toute beauté.

I’m starting to think about a trip that’s really close to my heart: Algeria by motorcycle, specifically the southern part of the country. It’d be for January 2025, and I’ve got two main questions:
Is it possible for an individual on a motorcycle to travel freely, outside of any organized tour, or does the regulation require some kind of supervision in the Algerian Sahara region?
Is the Hoggar massif accessible by road or by (rideable) tracks?

I just realized I’ve been registered on VoyageForum since... March 28, 2012 😊. Yet, I’ve barely participated until now.
August 1, 2026, will mark a somewhat special milestone: 5 years on the road.
We left Switzerland on August 1, 2021 with a simple idea: let chance decide our direction. We placed a bottle of wine on a world map, spun it... and it chose our first destination.
A year later, when we arrived in Morocco, we faced a new choice: continue toward Africa or head to Asia. This time, a tarot card game made the decision. Since then, we’ve tried to keep this journey as open to the unexpected as possible.
Today, that adds up to about 120,000 km, 46 countries, and over 1,800 days on the road—mostly by motorcycle, but also by sailboat, train, bus, hitchhiking, or on foot when adventure calls.
Our guiding thread isn’t just the motorcycle, but service exchanges. Instead of simply passing through countries, we try to stop regularly to lend a hand to the people we meet. So far, that’s about 600 days of volunteering.
Over the years, we’ve:
renovated a house in Croatia
made earth bricks in the Moroccan desert
helped sail a boat through the Greek islands
looked after houses, dogs, horses, a camel... and lots of other animals
worked at a street art festival in Morocco
created videos for local associations and projects
worked the grape harvest on the Tibetan plateau
been accredited as "media" for the World Nomad Games in Central Asia
Some of the moments that have stuck with us the most include six months in China, a night spent on the Great Wall, the Pamir Highway, the Silk Road, three months in Taiwan, and the incredible encounters in the mountains of Central Asia.
We travel on Falkor, our lucky dragon—a 2014 BMW F800GS that’s been with us since the start and is starting to have some great stories of its own.
While we share our adventure on Instagram, Polarsteps, and YouTube, that’s not why we’re here. The forum’s rules about promotion are clear, and I totally get them. If I’m finally taking the time to write, it’s mostly because after five years on the road, I thought our experience might be useful to other travelers.

I’m planning a motorcycle road trip to Armenia and Georgia in September 2026 or May 2027. I’m looking for one or more riders (male or female) who’d like to explore these countries with me.
Along the way, we’ll visit Cappadocia, the capitals Yerevan, Tbilisi, Sofia, Skopje, and other cities—we can finalize the route and roadbook later.
This trip requires experience with long motorcycle journeys, as we’ll cover around 7,000 km over 5 or 6 weeks (or more, depending on sightseeing and time spent).
I don’t expect dozens of applicants, since motorcycle riders are few and far between on this forum, but I’m putting this out there anyway.

I’m not particularly drawn to museums, ruins, or monuments.
I want to experience local life—small villages, seaside spots, beaches, and the interior if the landscapes are extraordinary.
Ideally, coming from Athens, I’d take a bus or train to get as close as possible to a starting point, then rent a scooter (125cc) to explore by taking secondary roads or even coastal paths. I’d stay in 2-3 places for a few days each to discover their surroundings.

What do you think would be the ideal itinerary?
From Athens, the best option would be to take either a flight or a bus to Kalamata. Rent a scooter and head either west or east. Is there a tertiary road (very lightly trafficked) or a path where I can ride slowly, take it easy, and enjoy the scenery without being bothered by traffic? I’d like to go all the way to Monemvasia, still hugging the coast. I need to find a way to avoid returning to Kalamata to drop off the scooter and catch a flight—maybe a small town where the train stops so I can head back to Athens.

How do you get visas for the countries I’ll be crossing: Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, and Chile? Are they e-Visas, obtained at the border, or through embassies?
Where can I get vehicle insurance?

I’ve got 15 days off in June and I’m pretty undecided about where to go for a motorcycle road trip. Two strong desires are pulling me in different directions: Corsica or Norway.
Corsica has been a dream of mine for a long time: legendary roads, stunning landscapes, a unique vibe, and the perfect mix of sea and mountains. At the same time, I’m wondering if 2 weeks might be *too much* for Corsica—risking feeling like I’ve seen it all too quickly, especially on a bike.
Since I also have an extra week free in May, I could use that specifically for Corsica. Maybe splitting it into two trips would make more sense? If so, which routes or regions would be the most interesting to plan for a 7-day trip?
On the other hand, Norway is *super* appealing. The landscapes look incredible, totally different from anything I’ve experienced, and it’d be a real “wow” trip. I know 15 days is still short for such a vast country. Getting all the way to the North Cape seems pretty much impossible in that time, but I’m curious about what realistic routes could be planned.
So I’m wondering:
Is it better to save Norway for next year, take 3 weeks off, and do it *properly*?
Or are 15 days enough for a first amazing taste of the country?
I’d love to hear about your experiences—whether it’s Corsica (ideal duration, routes) or Norway (what’s realistic in 2 weeks on a bike).

Hello! We’re planning a motorcycle trip that will include a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau in June 2026.
We’re unsure (still debating) whether we should stay at a hotel on-site and get to the memorial with an Uber (leaving our bikes at the hotel) and book a guided tour, or base ourselves in Kraków and take a tour that includes transport.
One thing’s for sure—we’d prefer a guide in French since we don’t speak English 😅.

Unfortunately, I’m worried that parts of the N630 may have disappeared or merged with the A66 motorway, forcing us to ride long stretches of highway, which we’d rather avoid.

This is our first motorcycle trip in Morocco. I got my license two years ago with the dream of taking this kind of trip, and here we are! ✌️😍
In France, we usually ride between 300 to 400 km per day on roadsters. We’re not used to off-road tracks, so we’re looking for easy ones 😅—especially for me 😅.
For Morocco, I’ve planned stages of 200 to 300 km per day.
Here’s the idea:
Day 1 (departure at noon): Marrakech - Tizi n Test - Tafingoult (165 km - 4h15)
Day 2: Tafingoult - Amzarkou - Telouet (200 km - 4h34)

Day 6: Agoudim - Imilchil - Aghbala - El Ksiba (280 km - 4h45)
Day 7: El Ksiba - La Cathédrale - Zaouiat Ahansal (212 km - 4h20)
