Bonjour, j'ai comme projet d'aller travailler soit en Irlande ou en Angleterre vers la mi-mai jusqu'à la mi-aout.. J'ai 18 ans mais la je me demande comment je vais faire..
J'ai regardé plusieurs programme comme Swap mais qui demande comme 900$ en plus des billets d'avion à payer sa vient peut-être un peu cher..
En passant je viens du Canada, et j'ai regardé les prix des bilelts d'avion pour l'aller et à Dublin c'est environ 2000$ et Londres 1000$.. sauf qu'on sait que vivre à Londres c'est cher..
Donc je ne sais pas quel endroit aller.. je veux trouver un travail pour payer les bilelts d'avion et le loyer..
Bon pour le loyer.. est-ce possible de vivre 3 mois dans une auberge jeunesse ou est-ce que c'est moins cher de vivre en appartement??
Auberge jeunesse sa doit être 25$ par jour donc 175 par semaine ce qui doit être un peu moins cher quun appart.. bref je sais pas quoi faire.
Et je ne sais pas si je pars seul encore.. mon ami n'est pas sur de venir.
je pars en irlande dans une semaine pour travailler. celà fait trois mois que je me renseigne à propos de ce pays à l'aide de forums, de témoignage de personnes..donc je peux t'aider seulement pour l'irlande... (bien que pour l'angleterre, il me semble que ce soit sensiblement pareil, excepté à londres)
je voulais au début également partir avec l'aide d'organismes qui t'aide à ton arrivée à l'aéroport, qui te réserve une semaine en auberge de jeunesse et qui t'aide à trouver un job!!
en ayant parcouru de nombreux forums et sites internets, j'en suis arrivée à la conclusion qu'il vaut mieux se rendre dans le pays par ses propres moyens et chercher sur place!!
je ne dis pas que ça ne me fais pas peur, je suis morte de trouille.. mais celà va être une expérience formidable avant de m'envoler pour l'australie.
pour le logement je te conseille de vivre tout d'abord en auberge de jeunesse et de trouver un appart sur place, une colocation plus précisément.. et celà te reviendras moins cher que de vivre en auberge de jeunesse!! pour la période à laquelle tu veux t'y rendre celà risque d'être plus compliqué car de nombreux jeunes veulent faire celà.. petit site qui peut t'aider : www.daft.ie c'est un site où tu pourras trouver des colocations, pour le comté que tu veux.
autre petit conseil, préfère cork, ennis, galway.. plutot que dublin!! il y aura trop de monde, et tu rencontreras peut être plus de difficulté!
pour le billet d'avion regarde ryannair, ou d'autres low coast!!

du quebec je ne sais pas trop.. mais je sais ke de le france à l'irlande.. une carte d'identité suffit bien.. j'emmène kan meme mon passport pour être sur.. ensuite pas besoin de visa de travail vu que l'irlande fait parti de l'europe!!

Les Auberges de Jeunesse à Londres sont en moyenne 25 livres par jour (donc environ $50 canadien).

Ca serait moins cher de partager un appartement avec des colocs ( et puis plus pratique aussi !).
Si tu est débrouillard, tu n'a pas besoin d'aide d'une agence (Swap) tu peut trouver un petit boulot assez facilement si tu parles anglais.
Il n'y a pas que Londres comme ville interessante, tu peux allez dans des villes plus au Nord (par example : Birmingham, Manchester, Edinburgh, etc..) qui sont moins cher que d'habiter à Londres.
En tant que Québecois pour arriver ici tu as besoin de:
Ton passport et ton visa (working holiday maker)
Preuves que tu peut te supporter financièrement (genre relevé bancaire, carte de crédit, argent en poche, etc..), ils peuvent de demander cela quand tu va entrer dans le pays
Aussi ca serait une bonne idée d'avoir: Ton CV déjà prêt (en format Britannique, fait une recherche pour trouver des examples) pour ta recherche d'emploi Réservation pour au moins une semaine ou deux dans une auberge de jeunesse ou hotel
Une fois ici: Tu va avoir besoin d'avoir un "National Insurance Number" (numéro d'assurance sociale), c'est difficile de l'obtenir avant d'avoir un emploi en général tu fait ta demande aussitôt que tu commence à travailller (ca détermine aussi le % d'impôts que tu vas payer (il te mette sur une taxe temporaire quand tu n'a pas ton numéro et tu paye beaucoup plus (tu peut le récupérer plus tard), l'impôt est relevé à la source.) tu vas avoir besoin d'un compte bancaire mais c'est difficile d'ouvrir un compte si tu n'a pas d'emploi (la banque peut demander une lettre de ton employeur, passeport, addresse et autres documents)

Pour la colloc je te conseille le site "gumtree.com" ou "ici-londres.com"
J'ai vécu 3 mois à londres il y a 2 ans maintenant ... j'ai d'abord fait 1 mois en auberge de jeunesse (celle de king cross "Ashley house" - c'etait un forfait de 70 pound les 7 jours en chambre de 16 lits!)
Et apres, j'ai trouvé mon premier appart grâce à Gumtree.
Tu as aussi des offres d'emploi sur ce site. Sinon le mieux pour trouver un emploi, c'est le démarchage direct !
Bon courage pour ton séjour ... partir seule au début c'est dur, mais une fois que t'y est et que tu as commencé à te créer ta petite vie, c'est geniale!!!
Effectivement il doit falloir demander un visa vacances travail pr Londres (attention aux quotats).
Sinon pour ce qui est du travail, évite de passer par une agence tu risques de perdre plus d'argent que d'en gagner au final... En mai tu n'auras aucune difficulté pour trouver un boulot sur place, avec un cv en anglais démarche les restos, les hotels, les bars, selon les jobs tu n'as pas besoin d'un trés bon niveau d'anglais (femme de chambre, plongeur...) En 2-3 jours tu devrais trouver...
Pour ce qui est du logement selon moi ce sera plus économique et plus intime de louer une chambre dans une colocation. Tu peux trouver facilement sur les sites spécialisés, pour moins de 80 pounds la semaine en banlieue proche (pas de soucis Londres est trés bien desservie par les transports en commun). Sinon si la distance te fait peur une fois que tu as un boulot rends toi à la Graham Helene House(c'est une résidence type universitaire ouverte à tous les jeunes, c'est trés grand trés bien organisé, excellent rapport qualité-prix, j'avais une copine qui y habité). C'est facile à trouver, c'est pile en face de l'entrée principale du British Museum. Tu rempli un dossier pour avoir une chambre (acceptation en moins d'une semaine), c'est 110 pounds par semaine pour une chambre seule, mais le bon plan c'est la chambre partagée (à 2) à 77pounds la semaine.
N'es pas peur de la solitude, une fois que tu auras un job et que tu vivras dans une résidence ou en coloc tu vas te mettre à rencontrer beaucoup de monde, et il y à énormément de francophones l'été à Londres (pas que eux heureusement)😉

Mais moi je vais partir avec 3 autres personnes enfin 2 à partir de mi-mai et la dernière nous rejoindra mi juin.

Ce que je peux te dire pour l'instant c'est qu'e auberge de jeunesse pour une aussi grande période c'est je pense pas l'idéal parce que tu n'auras pas ta chambre à toi et les vols sont courants.
Après Londres ou Dublin, je sais pas encore moi non plus. Culturellement parlant Londres est bcp plus riche et pas tellement plus cher que Dublin.
