Je suis un habitué des voyages en Jamaïque, surtout à Ocho Rios et Négril. J'ai souvent fréquenté les hôtels de la chaine ''Sandals Ultra all inclusive'' Maintenant que le petit est arrivé, nous aimerions qu'il soit du prochain voyage. Je voudrais savoir si certain d'entre vous ont essayé le penchant familiale de Sandals soit les clubs Beaches.
Si oui, comment c'était?
Et aussi, en comparaison si vous avez déjà fréquenté et un Sandals et un Beaches, quelles sont les grandes différances?

Nous arrivons justement du Sandals Whitehouse et c'était super WOW!!! nous avons super bien mangé toute la semaine et ce dans tous les restos de la place. Le staff est gentil, courtois et cherche à nous satisfaire. Tu demandes si on peut comparer Beaches et Sandals... nous avons été en 2004 au Beaches Turks and Caicos et c'était vraiment très bien aussi. La grosse différence c'est la place qu'on fait pour les kids. A Turquoise, il y avait un resto pour enfants (ils pouvaient se servir eux mêmes pizza, burgers, frites, nachos...), des jeux vidéo pour les occuper. des glissades d'eau et une piscine juste pour eux. Aussi, une méga garderie (ça dépend de l'age de ton enfant, il souhaitera ou non passer du temps sur place...) Les personnages de Sesame Street sont aussi sur place et des activités sont prévues avec eux... Elmo se promène sur le site, salue tout le monde... des histoires et spectacles pour enfants sont aussi prévus en fin d'après-midi ou apres le souper (tôt en soirée avant le dodo...) Bref, je sais que vous aurez du bon temps dans un Beaches... le service est aussi impéccable et les bouffes étaient aussi toutes bonnes (café de paris, mexicain, oriental entre autres...)
Toutefois, je ne peux te donner de commentaires pour Beaches en jamaique. Mais j'ose croire qu'ils sont du même ordre... as-tu vu le Boscobel? avec un parc de glissades tout à fait nouveau... vas voir sur le site internet de l'hôtel si tu ne l'as pas déjà fait, ça va te tenter surement!

J'ai aussi visité le Sandal dunn river et villagio spa, piscine incroyable et le jerk chicken du beach grill...wow que de bons commentaire, surtout depuis que les rénovations sont terminés.
Je vais probablement me laisser tenter par le Beachs boscobel pour le prochain voyage, si tu me dis que la qualité est similaire et que les enfants s'y amusent bien, ça me semble être un excellent choix.
Ps: mon bébé a 9 mois et en aura 12 au moment du voyage et j'ai aussi une ggrande fille de bientôt 10 ans, crois-tu que le petit sera assez vieux ?

je pense qu'à 12 mois, on veut encore être avec nos parents, on ne socialise pas trop si on n'a pas les parents à vue d'oeil... alors vous l'accompagnerez peut-être s'il va à la garderie... toutefois, le parc aquatique a une portion pour les tous-petits, il saura y trouver son compte et il y a du sable en masse, mais il est certain que ta grande va tripper là... j'ai visité le site internet avec mes filles ( 9 et 12 ans) et elles veulent y aller sans faute!!!
ce pourra être pour nous un projet hiver 2010... qui sait... tu me tiendras au courant pour des commentaires à ton retour si vous décidez d'y aller. ça pourra sûrement confirmer notre intention!
et c'est vrai qu'il est bon leur jerk chicken! on en a mangé presque à chaque jour... entre autres au Bluefield (le resto jamaicain sur le bord de la plage du côté français du Whitehouse...) snif! j'aimerais encore y être... yeah man!

At all-inclusive resorts, base salaries are extremely low for 10- to 12-hour workdays. Tips aren’t just a little extra—they often make up half of these families’ income.
Personally, I always prepare an envelope with euro bills in different denominations before I leave (they exchange them easily on-site). Here’s my method:
🛏️ For housekeeping: I leave a bill on the pillow every morning since schedules rotate daily.
🍽️ For servers: I always sit at the same table. At the end of the trip, I give an envelope to each server who took care of us daily.
🎉 For entertainment: I set aside an envelope for the animator who put in the most effort and really touched me.
The package covers the hotel, but our tips help support the people who make our vacations magical. Don’t forget to budget for this in cash when you pack!

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?

Bonjour nous arriverons dimanche 5 mai ( à partir de 16h25) à l'aéroport de Punta Cana pour profiter d'un séjour que mon amie à gagner à l’hôtel Gran Bahia Principe La Romana.
L'avion est offert par la compagnie aérienne, l'hôtel je pense par la chaine hôtelière, mais aujourd'hui je m’inquiète du transfert car aucune info et j'apprends que rien n'est prévu.
D’après ce que j'ai vu le dernier car expreso part de Punta Cana à 16h00
Y-a t'il d'autres moyens de transports collectif (guagua) qui puisse faire le trajet ou au moins nous avancer jusqu'à La Romana ou San Pedro de Marcoris et je pense qu'on finira le trajet en taxi.
Si c'est trop compliqué ça sera navette privée mais on est plus "lonely planet " que navette privée et hôtel tout inclus.

A ce jour elles n apparaissent plus sur mon compte Booking , j en ai informé par mail le service clients mais ce dernier ne repond pas ...donc impossible d annuler ces reservations....Quelqu un a t il connu ce probleme et l a t il resolu ???
