Ma petite amie et moi aimerions nous expatriés en Afrique du Sud pour une année. Nous aimerions partir en juin 2011 pour une durée de 15 mois. Après cela nous irons tous les deux nous installer en Côte d'ivoire ou vivent nos familles respective.
Nous voudrions trouver un travail sur place, je suis moi même cadre dans la grande distribution alimentaire, ma petite amie est encore étudiante en école de commerce.
J'ai lu beaucoup de postes sur le site et il en ressort qu'il parait extrêmement difficile de trouver un travail, surtout d'avoir un visa pour pouvoir exercer ce travail.
Pour toutes les personnes qui ont vécus cette expériences ou qui ont été en contact de personnes l'ayant vécus, pensez vous que ce projet soit envisageable ??
Point positif pour nous, nous n'avons pas vraiment de préférences géographique (si cape town !!), nous sommes tous deux bilingues et avons une bonne expérience de l'Afrique noir (francophone....!!!!)

le mieux est peut être de contacter les grands distributeurs en france pour avoir des contacts sur place ou d'envoyer des CV en afsud?.... pas évident de trouver du boulot avec 40% de chomage , par contre quand on est bien diplomé c'est plus facile
Pour etre completement honnete, les seules facon de venir travailler en Afrique du Sud sont:
1) te faire envoyer par ta companie et travailler pour eux d'ici
2) te faire engager par une ONG de type VSO et demander a etre envoyer en Afrique du Sud
3) venir en touriste
Le Home Affairs a des criteres tres tres strictes concernant l'obtention d'un permis de travail. A part le medecins et les ingenieurs (dont le pays a besoin en masse) il n'y a pas vraiment de chance d'obtenir un visa de travail.
Si tu arrives a decrocher une itw avec une boite ici, cette companie devra prouver au departement du travail qu'elle a fait publicte du post a pourvoir. Prouver qu'elle a interviewer des personnes representants chaque couleurs (priorite aux nationaux) et ensuite, seulement elle pourra peut-etre t'engager.
Je te dis tout ca car je suis moi-meme dans la situation. Mon mari et moi-meme nous sommes expatries ici au debut de cette annee et la seule raison etant que mon mari est medecin. Il a obtenu un permis de travail mais moi pas car je n'ai pas de competence/skills dont ils ont besoin. Alors, je bosse comme volontaire pour une ONG.
As-tu regarder sur le site de l'ambassade D'afrique du Sud? c'est tres clairement expliques.
Je suis triste d'etre decourageante mais ainsi est la realite.
Aussi non, l'afrique du sud est un super pays. Tres different de l'afrique noir francophone ou j'ai moi-meme aussi pas mal voyager.
Donc pour repondre a ta question: non je ne crois pas que votre projet soit envisageable. mais vous pouvez toujours venir en tant que touriste ou volontaire....il y a tellement a faire ici! Ou alors choisir un autre pays, ce n'est pas e choix qui manque 🙂

C'est malheureux car j'aurai vraiment aimé découvrir ce pays de l'intérieur. Le tourisme c'est bien mais ça reste le tourisme et quitte à venir en faire dans la sous région je ne choisirai pas l'Afrique du sud, ce n'est pas assez dépaysant. Mais je suis sûr que j'y mettrai les pieds un jour.

Salut, c'est juste une idée comme ça, mais si tu as été récemment diplomé, tu peux sans doute prétendre à un VIE en afrique du Sud, j'ai un copain qui a fait ça à la sortie de son école d'ingé, et depuis il est resté là bas, mais les VIE sont des contrats de 6 mois à 24 mois, donc ça serait vraiment parfait à ce niveau pour toi.
Bon c'est vraiment une idée jetée sur le papier, je te souhaite bon courage en tout cas !

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
