Est-il vrai que les français déjà sur place prennent plaisir à essayer de faire planter les "business" de leurs compatriotes?
Est-on mal vu lorsque l'on cherche à s'installer là bas? Est-on vu comme un concurrent potentiel?
Est-il facile de s'intégrer? l'accueil réservé par les français aux français est -il cordial?
Beaucoup de question, en effet..........je crois que lorsque l'on cherche à s'expatrier, il est bon parfois de pouvoir se lier d'amitié avec des compatriotes (éloignement familial, culturel, amical oblige ! ! )

Ben moi je te répondrai d'ici 3 mois hehehe vu que je vais m'installer là bas le mois prochain je te tiendrai au courant. Mais je sais déjà qu'ils ne se font pas de cadeaux entre eux, et que en général ils apprécient pas trop que tu fasses le même business qu'eux.

Je sais que pour obtenir un visas de travail il faut compter environ 1200 euros par an...ou bien il y a le royal social budaya, qui oblige à sortir du pays tous les 3 mois! Le mariage, quant à lui ne permet pas d'avoir le statut de résident.....reste à se faire renouveler son visas tous les mois, "au black": je sais que ça se fait!!

Si, le mariage te permet d'obtenir le visa résident, si tu es une étrangère mariée à un WNI... enfin c'était comme ça il y a encore quelques années. C'est dans le sens occidental mâle et femme indo que ça ne marche pas. Par contre tu n'as aucun permis de travail en plus de ton KITAS...😐 Et je ne sais pas si tu dois ou non payer les 1200 dollars annuels... Normalement, c'est seulement pour les travailleurs.
Quant au visa SOSBUD c'est 6 mois sans sortir du pays, 6 en théorie, 4 en pratique en général...
Je ne sais pas encore si je vais y monter un business ou non, j'attends de me poser avant tout avant de me décider à ce sujet. Pour ce qui est du visa je compte prendre un visa social budaya que je changerai par la suite en kitas valable un an, et non dans mon cas je ne paie pas les 1200 $ annuels je me suis déjà renseignée. Et toi que comptes tu faire là bas ? Quels sont tes projets ?

Faut se faire introduire dans le milieu par quelqu'un qui connait déjà, sinon c'est pas facile. Tu es un illustre inconnu venu marcher sur leurs platebandes...

je me permets de rebondir à ton post, car je vous trouve tous un peu sévère....et pourtant je ne suis pas adepte du "100% francophone"....
j'ai vécu 2 mois en indonésie (avril/mai 2008), entre jakarta et bali principalement. j'ai quitté mon job en france, j'ai rejoins un de mes meilleurs amis qui est actuellement en poste à jakarta sans vraiment savoir a quoi m'attendre.
concernant Bali : contrairement a ce qui a été dit précédemment, je n'ai pas rencontré de problèmes de ce type, je suis arrivé a Bali, j'ai rencontré plusieurs français, je leur ai expliqué que je souhaitais m'installer ici, monter un business et tous ont été très sympas, me donnant des conseils, m'expliquant comment ils avaient montés leurs business....
je tiens toutefois a préciser plusieurs choses qui ont peut être facilité mon intégration : j'ai plusieurs amis qui bossent en indonésie (principalement jakarta), j'ai également rencontré des francais sur bali par le biais d'indonésiennes que je connaissais et qui m'ont présenté ou par le biais d'internet tout simplement... et je ne suis pas arrivé en terrain conquis (et arrogeant)....et j'ai appris les rudiments de l'indonésien (qui peut grandement faciliter la tâche...particulièrement avec les "locaux")....
Bref, j'ai du rentrer en france pour régler quelques détails administratifs mais je compte bien repartir en Indonésie au mois de septembre....si tu souhaites échanger plus longuement avec moi Sushi (ou d'autres) n'hésitez pas à me contacter sur mon email : franoiss@hotmail.com

Je suis sur un projet de business là bas, et je dois te dire que c'est un peu la galère pour aller à la pêche aux infos...je me suis mise en contact avec la chambre de commerce franco indonésienne, les différents contacts que j'ai pu avoir m'ont aidés à y voir plus clair, mais sans plus!
Je me prends pas mal la tête avec les formes juridiques de création d'entreprise en Indonésie: PMA, PT ou CV ?????? Je ne sais tjrs pas que choisir ! !
PMA est réservé à l'investissement étranger mais sous réserve d'acceptation de ton projet par le BKPM....en effet, certains secteurs sont totalement fermés aux étrangers, et d'autres que partiellement ouverts.... ce qui veut dire faire un 50/50 avec un partenaire indonésien....dans ce cas autant faire une PT ou un CV car moins galère et beaucop moins de contrôles....
Bref, pas facile......si tu as des infos, elles seront les bien venues!!!
Par ailleurs, une chose qui me fait un peu flipper c'est la politique indo: c'est encore une jeune démocratie, pas trés stable......et la corruption: je t'en parle même pas: j'ai pu en faire l'expérience avec l'immigration....je ne peux pas dire que c'est de tout repos pour les nerfs...

Bon et bien pour moi tout se passe bien. Installee, j`ai ma belle petite maison avec autour que des balinais et des rizieres tres loin du brouhaha de kuta qui est infernal. Pour ce qui est du contact avec des expatries, j`en connaissais deja avant et mon opinion a leur propos se confirme. Les expatries restent entre eux, ils denigrent la culture balinaise et pensent que les balinais sont tous cons et ils pensent que si vous etes ami avec un balinais et bien celui ci ne s`interresse a vous que pour vous piquer de l`argent. Ils n`ont aucun respect pour eux et les rabaisse. Si tu veux connaitre les expatries a bali tu as interet a avoir de l`argent et a les suivre dans leur soiree de folies ou ils se bourrent la gueule pour etre accepter. Tu sais parfois ils peuvent te rendre service mais il y a obligation de retour d`ascenceur. Et ils font souvent travailler l`ami de leur ami. Ah oui j`oubliais ils vivent egalement au dessus de leur moyen, souvent. Les expat sont sympas mais ca s`arrete la, des expats cools y en a plein mais en dessous il y a autre chose. Et toi sushi ou en sont tes projets, quand compte tu venir vivre a bali, pour y faire quoi ? Si c`est pour ouvrir un resto, pour ouvrir ta cantine, n`essaies meme pas parce que d`ici 1 /2 ans tu feras faillite comme la plupart des francais qui ont decider de quitter la france en pensant que a bali ils pouvaient devenir leur propre petit patron avec pas beaucoup d`argent. Souvent j`entends des touristes qui viennent pour la premiere fois a bali et qui veulent tout de suite s`y installer. Donc conseil : reflechis bien a ce que tu comptes faire la bas, tes moyens financiers, et ne fais pas ca sur un coup de tete prepare bien ton installation🙂

Le seule probleme c est que justement je ne sais pas encore ou habiter; je ne sais pas a qui m adresser vu que les agences vendent surtout des villas, et moi je suis etudiante, une villa c est donc impossible pour moi, quand a l extreme unverse, la petite chambre sans cuisine ni eau chaude ni rien...c est peut etre un peu en dessous de mon budget pour le coup. Donc ma question c est: auriez vous des plans d apparts, des gens qui cherchent des coloc, n importe quoi, ou sauriez vous au moins a qui je peux m adresser?
