Nous avons besoin de conseil avisé pour trouver une location ou l'achat d'une maison sur la côte béninoie avec une préference pour grand popo. EN effet, nous comptons y vivre. Nous y sommes restés 2 mois et le pays nous plait beaucoup. Ca fait 17 mois que nous baroudons en afrique de l'ouest et nous avons très envie de nous établir dans un de ces pays, le premier c'est le bénin. Nous sommes actuellement au Burkina et j'ai fait des recherches sur internet sans grand succès. Comme je sais qu'il faut faire très attention et être très vigilents pour toutes négociations, et avoir des contacts surs, je m'adresse aux expatriés français sur place pour nous conseiller un agent immobilié serieux.
C'est un projet muri et pas un coup de tête.

Voilà je vous explique ma situation. Ily a 1 mois j'ai trouvé une annonce sur le net où une association volontaire du canada donne un camping car. Je leur ai écrit et m'ont mis en contact avec la société maritime qui est chargée du rapatriement du camping car. Cette société m'a fait un devis et j'ai envoyé cet argent. Aujourd'hui il s'avère qu'ils ont oubliés de me marquer la TVA et L'assurance alors que je leur avait bien demandé si l'assurance y était et ils m'ont répondu que oui. Maintenant il faut que je leur envoie encore de l'argent que je n'ai pas. Le camping car se trouve au port de cotonou et est en attente d'embarcation. Je ne sais plus quoi faire alors pour cela je voudrais savoir si quelqu'un irait au benin et voudrait bien prendre le camping car pour le ramener en France ou alors me donner une idée pour le rapatrier

Finalement, nous nous sommes installés au Burkina Faso, pays plus centrale de l'Afrique de l'Ouest et surtout beaucoup moins humide que le Bénin.Pour les meubles, a mon avis c'est bien mieux de les acheter sur place : beaucoup moins chers( entre le prix du transport) et surtout, nos meubles européens ne supportent pas le climats humide et s'abiment très vite.Pour la voiture, je ne sais pas? Nous avons juste remarqué sur place, qu'il y avait des pleins cargos de voitures venant surtout d'allemagne, de suisse et des pays bas qui arrivent à cotonou. Je ne connais pas les démarches exactes, mais je sais que le dédouanement est assez élevée et soumis au backchichs. A vous de voir.Est ce votre premier voyage au Bénin? Est vous déjà venu dans un pays d'afrique noire? Iil faut savoir qu'ici, c'est le royaume des billets glissés dans les passeports ou autres documents officiels si vous voulez que votre dossier avance. Quand on vient d'un pays comme la France, les premières fois on refuse, et au fure et a mesure, vous êtes obligés de craquer aussi: autrement ce sont de longs palabres, des attentes interminables, des journées à attendre, des allées venues incessants, il faut savoir rester zen!
Il ne faut pas hésiter à prendre une personne qui se charge de toutes les formalités à votre place! a savoir aussi, être bien en règle pour le permis de conduire, les assurances, le laisser passé ou carnet de passage si vous venez avec votre voiture, visas enfin tout, car en tant que blancs, vous êtes automatiquement "riches".
Voilà les premiers conseils que je peux vous donner, un autre quand même, je sais par des expats vivants depuis 4 ans à Ouaga et qui sont mutés à Cotonou cet été, que ce n'est pas facile de trouver une maison en location et acheter se révèle un vrai parcours du combattants. Le titre de propriété est difficile à avoir ( un minimum d'une année si vous avez des connaissances et distribuez quelques billets)
Autrement c'est un merveilleux pays, avec beaucoûp de traditions, de croyances. La côte est très belle, mais la baignade y reste très dangereuse.

Il faut chercher avec royal air maroc ou la compagnie lybienne. C'est aussi une des raison pour laquelle nous nous sommes installés au burkina, les billets d'avion y sont beaucoup plus raisonnable pour notre bourse nous permettant de rentrer deux fois par an en France.
