S'installer définitivement dans un pays quelqu'il soit n'est pas évident.Quels ages ont vos enfants ? Comment comptez vous vivre ?etc ....
J'ai eu la curiosité de voir votre profil et il me parait assez particulier surtout quand vous parlez d'une certaine personne.Ce forum n'est pas le lieu idéal pour faire de telles "révélations".

Si vous n'etes pas d'origine indienne et sous conditions, si vous n'etes pas l'epouse d'un Indien.......vous n'aurez que des visas de 6 mois renouvelables...et encore ils serrent la vis desormais !
Je ne savais pas que les visas n'étaient plus que d'une durée de 6 mois. Et y aurait-il des "passe-droits" si j'arrive avec un projet professionnel béton. Où le visa de 6 mois est pour tous ?
Je pourrai dans un premier temps habiter chez des amis mais je souhaiterai un quartier calme pour mes enfants. Je voulais aussi savoir quel était le niveau d'étude des écoles primaires, bien qu'il me semble que le système scolaire soit différent de chez nous.

Si vous avez un projet beton, pas de problemes, mais prenez contact avec une chambre de commerce locale, l'Ambassade etc....Le visa pour l'Inde est de 6 mois tant que votre affaire ne sera pas officiellement agree.Il y a des gens qui vivent avec ces visas depuis des annees mais il n'autorise pas a travailler ! meme si certains le font....

si tu décides de partir en inde pour la vie, je peux en conclure que tu as déja mis les pieds en inde ?
Pour vivre en inde faut en donner à justification au gouvernement indien.
Si tu as un travail sur place, tu auras un visa de travail.
si je ne dis pas de betise, chaque année tu dois renouveller ton visa d'un an.
avec le visa travail, tu peux t'inscrire au consulat francais, et obtenir la carte de résident.
sinon, tu peux aussi vivre en inde sur ta "fortune personnelle" et là faut sortir régulierement du pays pour renouveller son visa touriste et c'est pas la meilleure solution. (pas evident pour les comptes bancaires...)
pondy a une ecole francaise, avec des profs pour un certains nombre francais, ayant des cours du systeme francais. c'est donc bien. mais c'est payant.

faut y aller personnellement et tes amis pourrant t'aider localement. C'est complémentaire.
Je pense que tu connais l'administration indienne? Il faut bcp d'energie et de perseverance.
C'est lent, parfois, faut interesser la personne pour faire avancer le dossier...
L'inde c'est aussi des pot de vin à tout les niveau. Je n'insite en aucun cas cette pratique. Faut pas alimenter ce fléau.
Bon je me dis aussi que deux ans, c raisonnable, pour mener à bien mon projet et finaliser mon installation là-bas.
Je penses que je vais y aller cet été, pour voir un peu comment cela peut se passer et peut-être trouver une association qui serait intéressée par mon projet et ainsi le pousser.

Par contre, je me pose aussi la question de la barrière de la langue. Mes enfants ne parlent pas tamoul et je suis actuellement en train de prendre des cours de tamoul, mais c vrai que je m'inquiète beaucoup de leur intégration là-bas. Connaissez-vous des cours adaptés aux enfants ?

je pense qu'il parle peut etre des pots de vin. Peut etre qu'il nous considere comme des fous et que les pots de vin n'existent pas en inde. C'est juste une invention....

Parler la langue du coin c'est bien, mais maitriser l'anglais c'est mieux.
Je prefere qu'une personne maitrise l'anglais et a des notions de plus en plus grande de tamoul que l'inverse.
Le tamoul n'est pas parlé partout, l'hindi pareil, enfin aucune langue officielle en inde n'est parlé partout.
Moi j'apprends l'hindi sans chercher à etre bilingue, juste reussir à faire des phrases, expliquer une situation.. à une personne ne parlant pas anglais.
mais les indiens veulent et cherchent à parler anglais car ils savent que sans l'anglais, ils ont du mal à bosser.
pour apprendre la tamoul, suffit de se mélanger avec des indiens qui parlent anglais et tamoul, il faut acheter une méthode de tamoul, faut regarder des films tamoul et apprendre du vocabulaire.
Niveau école de tamoul, je ne peux te donner d'adresse, mais tu en trouveras facilement et il y aura tjrs des indiens pret à donner des cours gratuit ou payant.

Si l'anglais est parlé partout, je penses que j'arrive à me faire comprendre en général. J'ai aussi acquis une méthode pour parler le tamoul, mais c très basique. J'ai vu sur un autre forum que des personnes pouvaient nous donner des cours via le net. Je vais me renseigner.
Pour vous le système privé scolaire (bien que payant) équivaut-il le système "normal" (je ne vois pas quel terme employé) ?
Pour mon projet, il concernerait plus les enfants ou adultes handicapés mentaux, mais je ne sais si cela est déjà mis en place en Inde. Si vous pouviez m'éclairer ce serait gentil.
