Notre asso est impliqée dans la réalisation d'installation d'eau dans un village du Sénégal (près de Mbour) Le dilemme : quoi installer ? un petit chateau d'eau, c'est trop cher pour nous ; un bassin en béton ? pourquoi pas, mais on en a déjà financé un qui s'est écroulé en moins de temps qu'il ne faut pour l'écrire. Aussi avons nous pensé aux réservoirs souples qui sont hyper solides, (durée de vie au moins 15 à 20 ans, ce qui donne le temps de mettre autre chose ne place) conviennent pour l'eau réservée à l'alimentation car étanche, peu onéreux (c'est important) et dont la contenance peut être adaptée aux besoins du village (prévoir l'arrosage du verger/potager)
Le seul problème, le transport.
Avec mes 20 kg d'octobre octroyés généreusement par IBERIA, je ne vais pas loin (j'ai raté de 2 jours le billet pas cher avec 100kg de sénégalaisement 😕)
aussi est ce que l'idéal serait de trouver ce matériel sur place, quelqu'un peut il me dire si cela se vend sur Dakar ? et s'il en connait le coût. En france une 15.000 litres est proposée à 1178 euros ttc, si je rajoute le prix du transport et la fatigue qu'implique de se trimballer avec un carton d'environ 1m3 et 70 kgs, j'accepterai de payer un peu plus cher là bas !

essaie plutôt quelqu'un qui fait partir des bagages dans un container et propose lui en demandant le prix du kg, j'ai contacté quelqu'un qui fait le kg, tout rendu, à 3 €. j'ai moi aussi des choses à faire partir (du tissu, donc c'est très lourd)
Il faut être sûr du transitaire c'est pourquoi mieux vaut connaître quelqu'un qui fait partir régulièrement.
merci pour vos réponses, je crois que je vais voir ce qui est fabriqué sur place car le transport revient très cher.
Je pense aussi que pour le bassin c'etait plutôt à un maçon qualifié en installation de Ce type que nous aurions dû faire appel, en voulant gagner quelques sacs de ciment ils ont perdu beaucoup, mais tout s'apprend dommage que la leçon coûte aussi cher !

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
