pour l'ambassade de france tu dois t"y rendre pour faire faire dans un premier temps une carte consulaire, y a un service spécial pour les français qui prennent leur retraite au sénégal, c'est pas trop mal organisé d'ailleurs. En deux mots faut te faire connaître auprès des services de l'ambassade afin qu'ils sachent que tu es bien sur le territoire sénégalais.
pour ton déménagement et ta voiture, si tu as bcp de trucs de déménager prend un container tu mets tout dedans et ta voiture également. mais fait bien ton compte, parfois cela te revient moins cher de tout revendre ici et racheter tout la bas voiture y compris, tu trouves tout au sénégal et de plus si tu vas dans la région de MBOUR. Si j"étais toi je ne m'embarasserais pas de meubles frigo et autres cela te revient moins cher de toute racheter sur place que de payer le déménagement à moins que tu as des meubles auxquels tu tiens vraiment mais pour avoir fait un déménagement au sénégal ce n'est franchement pas cadeau, à l'époque en dehors de la voiture j'ai payé pour un container plus de 5000€ arrivée sur place je me suis rendue compte de ma connerie, mes meubles n'avaient pas de valeur et j'aurais du plutot tout acheter la bas. (je n'avais pas de voiture)
idéalement serait de t'adresser directement à un transitaire pour cela tu peux voir cela avec www.sagactl.com je pense que tu peux déjà obtenir un prix avec eux, mais tapes à plusieurs portes parfois ca va du simple au double.

C’est une idée intéressante de vivre sa retraite en Afrique et précisément au Sénégal. Car j’y suis installée depuis plusieurs d’années et y compte rester encore pour longtemps mais je travaille encore. Mais j’ai aidé pas mal d’étranger (surtout des français et récemment Mr JACQUES BACQUET à prendre place a Dakar. En venant ici armez vous des papiers vous permettant de faire certaines démarches administratives (ex : la carte d’identité…) une fois sur le territoire sénégalais. Car pour les séjours au delà de 3 mois à compter a partir de la date de ton arrivée, il faut se rendre à la police des étrangers ici pour faire une carte d'identité d'étranger
Si vous aviez acheté un terrain, tachez de vous munir des papiers nécessaires le concernant vous en auriez besoin ainsi que des documents qui prouves votre identités et ceux qui vous serviront a remplir des formalités.
N’oublier pas de vous enregistrer auprès des services de l'ambassade afin qu'ils sachent que tu es bien sur le territoire sénégalais afin de vous aider dans le domaine du papier lorsque vous rencontreriez des difficultés ici.
Dakar est un pays luxueux comme le dis ci-haut VAVATERANGA je ne sais si vous aviez déjà mis pieds mais ici on trouve du tout à des prix convenables. c’est ce qui permet à certains européens d’y siéger car on ne manque de rien mais si vous tenez toujours à apporter vos mobiliers je peux vous renseigner auprès des transitaires qui se chargeront de cela ou essaye aussi l’idée du container.

Un déménagement par container 20 pieds pourrait vous coûter entre 5000-7000 euros et c'est rare qu'on le remplisse même avec un véhicule et des meubles. A moins que vous n'ayez beaucoup d'électroménagers (congélateur...). A l'arrivée, le dédouanement du véhicule pourrait coûter entre 1500-3000 euros si je me rappelle bien.
Il est possible de prendre un container par groupage. C'est moins cher. Je ne l'ai jamais fait et ne connais donc pas le degrè de fiabilité.
Toujours est-il que si vous prenez l'option container, suivez(guettez) l'arrivée de votre container pour ne pas rater son "ouverture". Rares cas de petits vols mais pas improbables. Cette option permet aussi la récupération (par la société de déménagement) de vos effets et véhicule à votre domicile en France et leur débarquement à votre lieu de résidence au Sénégal (door-to-door). Pour cela, AGS déménagement/Paris est fiable, leur correspondant à Dakar s'appelle Déménagements Christian Casala sis à la Médina. Il y a aussi d'autres petits déménageurs tout aussi bien. Cherchez leurs coordonnées et tarifs sur google à titre comparatif.
Achetez sur place est possible avec toutes les marques Hi Fi ou... chinoises. Pour le matériel électroménager hi fi au moins, vous pourrez facilement trouver des pièces détachées de rechange dans un magasin face Score/Casino à l'avenue Albert Sarrault près du marché Kermel.

je suis moi même installée à Dakar depuis quelques mois et j'ai déménagé avec un conteneur 20 pieds, il m'en a coûté moins de 4500 euros de Saint Brieuc à ma porte à Dakar. Pour le dédouanement, quand il s'agit d'un déménagement aucun problème ça ne coûte rien, il faut que tout ce que contient le conteneur soit agé de plus de 6 mois. En revanche pour la voiture nous avons renoncé, le véhicule doit être âgé de moins de 5 ans et à l'arrivée c'est 50% de la valeur en taxe!!!
J'avais trouvé la société de transport sur le net, il s'agit de scg maritime, leur correspondant à Dakar est très efficace. Le coût du transport dépend bien sûr de l'endroit où vous habitez en France, pour ma part c'est parti du Havre.
Pour le reste, police des étrangers pour la demande de carte d'identité d'étranger, tout a été dit !
De mon côté je suis en train de voir pour adhérer à la Caisse des Français à l'Etranger pour continuer à bénéficier d'une couverture maladie.
J'espère avoir un peu éclairé votre lanterne...
Bon courage dans ces démarches, elles sont parfois un peu fastidieuses, mais vivre au Sénégal est un tel bonheur !!!!
Nous partons début septembre pour un an Sénégal (mon mari, mon fils de 11ans et moi qui suis infirmière). A la Somone plus exactement. Nos amis ainsi que les habitants de notre village sensibilisés par notre projet n'arrêtent pas de nous ammener des vêtements, stylos, cahiers etc... Notre problème, comment les acheminer???? Comme vous, je me suis renseignée sur le prix des containers et il est certain que les prix sont vraiment élevés (du moins pour notre budget). Nous habitons la banlieue toulousaine et si vous décidez de prendre un container, nous serions éventuellemt prêts à vous en "sous louer" une petite partie. Peut-être qu'à plusieurs et en partageant les frais ce serait plus facile.🙂
