A quelle période de l'année partez-vous?
Je dis ça, car en haute saison le "paradisiaque" peut vite se transformer en "cauchemar" avec la horde de touristes qui veulent avoir "le coin de carte postale" 🤪

Non, je ne peux pas dire que "je connais bien la Thailande", d'autres sur ce forum sont de loin mieux calés que moi...
Disons que "professionnellement" je suis amené à visiter certains hôtels pour y conclure des contrats ou pour "jouer au touriste" et "faire des rapports de qualité"...
Donc en gros, ce qu'on voit sur catalogues de voyage et qui est paradisiaque est généralement "sollicité"... Donc qui dit "sollicité" dit "touristes" ou "horde de touristes" selon les saisons... Ce que je veux dire c'est que le "charme" des lieux peut cacher le manque d'"authenticité" de la part des touristes...
Si je comprends bien, vous souhaitez un endroit où vous serez immergé dans un environnement "100% Thai" n'est-ce pas?... Pas un truc style "Tour Eiffel de Paris", ou je me trompe?
Bonsoir, sur phuket en couple je connais un hôtel sympa je ne me rappel plus le nom mais c' est direction karon sur la sirirat road juste aprés l' hotel C&N bien connu.Il y a une superbe piscine a debordemant dans un jardin luxurant juste au pied d' une colline.Les chambres sont de plein pied et donnent directement sur la piscine.C' hyper calme et près des plus belles plages....
Nous pensons nous diriger sur Bangkok pour quelque jours puis descendre sur phukets sans s'y attarder et aller dans la région de khao lak. Nous sommes preneur pour toutes informations sur des hôtels sympa les pieds dans l'eau sur khao lak. Apparemment c'est pas ce qui manque. Cordialement.

Sa fais 2 ans que nous partons en Thaïlande en hiver avec mon marie je peu vous conseiller l'hôtel"tri trang Beach resort" c'est un hotel tout simplement magique il est sur le sable les chanvre sont immense la plupart avec des balcon donnant sur la mer ( de couleur carte postale )
Nous avons essayer environs 7 hôtels a patong et alentour et celui la est de loin le meilleur
le petit déjeuner est royale et que vous pouvez prendre soit a l'intérieure sot sur le sable.
Vous vous réveillerais avec le bruit des vagues.....
Les services de l'hôtel sont impeccable , la propreté, la taille des chambres....
Vous disposer aussi d'une plage privée qui est juste fantastique .
Nous avions repérer cet hotel la première année ou nous somme aller en Thaïlande nous pensions alors que cetais le genre d'hôtel pas accessible pour nous. Et la second année nous avions regarder les prix par curiosité et finalement ce n'étais pas si cher que sa comparer au prestations proposer nous l'avons donc prix pour 60€ la nuit. Je pense que les tarifs dépende des saison 'mais le prix en valaitl largement la peine car pus y retournons en 1 mois nous avons inclus d'autre pays a notre circuit mais nous avons encor prix cet hotel.
Car si je peu vous conseiller prenez vos hotel avant de partir. Sur booking par exemple car sur place ils profite de la situation ou vous n'avez pas d'autre choix que de vous loger pour vous proposer des hotel 2,3 étoile au prix d'un 4 ou 5 étoile (je parle en connaissance de cause) et surtout en janvier vous êtes en plein dans la saison haute !!!
Si vous avez des question n'hésitez pas je suis tomber amoureuse de la Thaïlande et je pourris en parler des heures
sawatika, merci pour ta réponse mais nous ca y'est on déjà réservé nos hôtels et billets d'avions pour le mois de janvier. on va passer quelques jours sur Bangkok dans un hôtel sur sukumvit près du bts "asoke" . on devrait être bien placé pour faire les visites dans Bangkok puis nous faisons un vol "Bangkok phuket" afin de se diriger sur Khao lak. "hôtel diamond beach resort" . ON pense faire les îles similan , la régions de phang ga 'îles james bond " le parc khao sok a dos d'éléphants bref a max de choses en 15 jours même si on sait bien qu'on ne verra qu'une petite partie de la thailande.
ON a bien l'intention aussi de faire du farniente plage restos bars "locaux" .
Connaissez vous khao lak? ON sait déjà que c'est un endroit tranquille de passage pour les touristes mais il me semble que c'est un bon endroit pour partir en excursion , avec de jolies plages apparemment etc .. Cordialement .

For my husband's 50th birthday, we're going to Mombasa for 10 days and 8 nights in March 2026.
I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

I’m tired of spending hours and hours searching for all-inclusive hotels for my first trip to Mexico to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
Can anyone recommend 5 or 6 hotel names that meet the following criteria? (I’m not too picky, lol)
1. All-inclusive
2. Adults-only
3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

Hi there, I’m a 43-year-old woman planning to travel solo in early March. I’m not really into "commercial resorts," but if I find a place that fits my criteria, I might be interested. To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). I’m not necessarily aiming for the cheapest resort, but since it’s spring break week and everything’s already pricier, 5-star options are probably out of the question. Thanks!

We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

However, online, I’ve found two sites for making this reservation:
The first is the Etosha National Park site: https://etoshanationalpark.co.za
You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
