J'aimerais savoir si quelqu'un d'entre vous arrive de l'oasis dans le denier mois? J'ai vus des photos sur un site les problèmes du oasis en janvier 2007, plafond qui coule, moisissure dans la salle de bain, et sur le bord de la porte, au plafond, plancher pleins d'eau avec chaudières u peu partout!
Est-ce la réalité ou la fiction? Je suis inquiète car je pars pour cet jhotel le 27 janvier, sinon quesqui nous attends? Peut-on s'attendre à trouver des chambres en bonne et due forme?
OH !!! 😕 J'aimerais bien savoir moi aussi. Je suis vraiment stupéfaite. J'y suis allée là ces 4 dernières années et j'ai JAMAIS vu l'hotel dans cet état... Cependant, les photos le démontre bien.
Il y a un membre sur ce site Mitsou201 qui est allée le 9 décembre dernier. Je lui ai parlé récemment pour savoir si elle avait aimé son voyage. Elle m'a mentionné que OUI. Tu peux entrer en contact avec elle, écris-lui en privée pour plus de renseignements.
Tel que discuté ici récemment, 3 des 4 pavillons de l'Oasis Cancun sont en rénovation (qui devrait être terminés bientot). Lorsque j'y suis allée en octobre 2006, ces 3 pavillons n'étaient pas accessibles et étaient tous fermés. C'est fort probable (j'en suis convaincue) que les photos ci-haut sont dans les 3 pavillons en rénovation qui sont fermés et qu'ils ne sont pas accessible au public.
Si je peux te rassurer en te disant ceci, advenant le cas ou tu n'aimerais vraiment pas ta chambre, tu peux aller le mentionné à la réception et ils t'en donneront une autre, tu peux aussi te faire transférer dans un autre hotel de la chaine Oasis (si tu n'es vraiment pas satisfaite). Si c'est le cas, et que c'est vraiment pas logeable demande à être transférer à L'OASIS PLAYA situé tout près de l'Oasis Cancun. J'ai passé la semaine complete avec un couple qui logeait à l'Oasis Cancun (moi j'étais dans le Grand Oasis, batisse du centre) ils n'ont pas eu ce genre de problème et était satisfait de leur chambre. Au départ, sur leur feuille (celle qu'on présente une fois arrivé à l'hotel, feuille remis par l'agence de voyage) il était mentionné que leur hotel était le Oasis Playa. Ils n'ont cependant pas débarquer là et sont allés à L'Oasis Cancun (ils se sont trompés). L'Oasis Cancun les ont acceptés quand même puisque c'est le meme prix et que c'est la même chaine d'hotel. Donc si tu n'es pas satisfaite, il aura possibilité d'être transféré de chambre ou de loger ailleurs, (choisi l'Oasis Playa qui a aussi une plage superbe, la même que l'Oasis Cancun. Contrairement à l'Oasis Beach).
Autre chose importante, une fois j'y suis allée avec mon père. On avait payer pour une chambre à l'Oasis Cancun (un des 4 pavillons). Cependant, lorsque mon père à vu qu'il fallait monter un escalier pour se rendre à la chambre, il n'était pas content à cause de ses jambes, il a du mal à marcher). Il est allé a la réception et a demandé d'avoir une chambre dans le Grand Oasis. Il nous l'ont donné. On a été transféré dans le Grand Oasis même si on n'avait pas payé le prix. Notre chambre était au Grand Oasis sauf que nous avions pas droit au service exclusifs au Grand Oasis. Donc c'est facile de changer de chambre si tu n'es pas satisfaite...
Ne t'inquiète pas, je suis pratiquement convaincue que ces photos ont été prises dans les sections qui sont présentement en réno et qui sont fermés... (lors de ma visite en octobre, des sections étaient fermées et non accessibles au public, donc pas logeables... ça doit être celles-ci... à mon avis, personne ne loge là) Mais je fais seulement que supposer d'après ce que j'ai vu quand j'y suis allée.

Pour ma part, ma chambre était très propre, aucune moississure sur les murs et la salle de bain était très propre aussi. Mais soyons clairs, loin de moi l'idée de te contredire... les photos démontrent bien qu'il y a des problèmes mais je suis cependant convaincue que ces sections sont fermées et non-accessibles.

I found a hotel, the Kappa Club Crystal Bay Resort, and online reviews for this hotel recommend a guide named Omar. I contacted him via WhatsApp, and he's offering a 2-day, 1-night safari in Tsavo East, a "blue safari," and a Marafa Canyon day trip for 400 € per person.
I’m asking for help from people who’ve already done these excursions because I have no idea what these offers entail.

Hi everyone, I’m writing here because I’m really torn—I want to go on a trip. A vacation? 10 to 12 days, maybe 14 days. Starting March 14th. I’m in a wheelchair but completely independent. I was thinking of going to Martinique, but apparently, the hotels aren’t all-inclusive, which might be a hassle. If you have any advice, that’d be great. Otherwise, I was considering Mexico—a long-time dream. At an all-inclusive hotel with accessibility on one level (since I’m independent but in a wheelchair). Do you know of any nice, budget-friendly hotels with activities in Mexico? Or Zanzibar is also an option for me, same idea.

3. Beautiful beach and pool
4. Hotel for relaxing (no "factory hotels")
5. One-week stay in February 2026
6. A nice hotel (3 or 4 stars) but no need for an ultra-palace
Oh, and I almost forgot the main thing 😉: budget between 3500 € and 4000 € for two, including flights from Montreal-Mexico-Montreal.

To add to the info in the title, I’m open to various activities, but ideally, it’d include snorkeling, hiking, dance (every evening if possible!), group tours, etc. I’d love to meet people (not necessarily a man—just people in general!). We’ll be in Venice from March 20th to 24th, and I’m looking (for two couples) for a hotel close to St. Mark’s Square—my husband can’t walk long distances. For four nights with breakfast, our budget is around 1,400 € per couple. To avoid too much walking for him, I’d also prefer a hotel where we could potentially eat dinner in the evenings.

You can’t pay online there—you just submit a reservation request (enquiry).
The second is the NWR (Namibia Wildlife Resorts) site: https://www.nwr.com.na, where you *can* pay online.
Is the latter one reliable?
