Comme je ne connais pas, pouvez vous m'aider à prendre ma décision, à savoir dans laquelle de ces villes je me débrouillerai le mieux sans voiture, et aussi comme je débarque seule, celle ou il y a le plus d'activités...

pour plusieurs raisons je te conseillerais B Terre meme si cette ville a des faux airs de "vieille capitale se laissant vivre "
C'est la ville ou se trouve la préfecture
donc la population y est plus importante ; les choix d'activités aussi ; ainsi que les commerces et les structures diverses
dont on peut avoir besoin .La population y est agréable et moins "speed" qu'en grande terre et y ressent moins d'agressivité et plus de courtoisie
Les etablissements scolaires y sont peut étre plus importants aussi .......
Ste Rose est aussi assez agréable et bien située coté plages et dotée de pas mal de petits commerces ;elle est aussi trés bien située pour les ballades en foret et les petits "break" ds des gites et hotels de charme sur la cote sous le vent
nous sommes des inconditionnels de cette partie de l'ile nommée "Nord Basse Terre " ; tout comme le club d'activités sportives que nous avons crée il y a env 12 ans ; à l'origine pour nos enfants ; et ou l'on peut pratiquer ; gym;judo;taiso ;taekwendo ;kendo ;aikido ;capoera etc etc situé sur la commune de Lamentin .
Voilà n'hesites pas si tu veux des précisions sur Basse Terre et/ou Ste Rose

j'ai vu que la majorité des associations de randos se trouvent dans le coin, il y a même un club équestre, par contre au niveau des salles de sport j'en n'ai pas trouvé à Basse Terre, il y en a 1 à Saint Claude mais c'est quand même à 6 kms et en vélo ça grimpe trop!
Quant aux plages, effectivement elles seront loin!(moi aussi j'aime bien la région de Deshaies, mais j'ai peur que ce soit trop calme pour moi sans voiture...)
Sais tu s'il y a une plage sympa près de Basse Terre, hormis celle de Grande Anse à Trois Rivières?

pour habiter le coin de la marina de riviére sens est plaisant avec manioukani ou il y a des activités de soins de bien étre et il y a une plage et un parcours de footing sur la route qui méne à vieux fort

Pour un club de sport il me semble qu'il y en avait 1 en sortant de b terre en allant vers riviére des péres juste avant baillif ou alors au racing club de basse terre un peu plus haut que la prison
Effectivement sur st claude ça grimpe de suiet enormément !!
En vélo il est aisé d'aller sur baillif c'est le littoral pas de grosses montées
Des bus vont souvent sur st claude et c'est assez bien desservi

Je travaille au trésor public, je suis célibataire et sans enfants et pas du tout guyanaise!...je suis à Cayenne depuis 4 ans, sinon je suis de la région de Saint Etienne...
J'aime beaucoup voyager, ce qui m'a conduit à m'expatrier...
Lorsque j'ai eu ce pb de santé l'année dernière, j'avais soit la solution de rentrer à Paris retrouver le métro et toutes les commodités, soit tenter l'aventure dans un autre DOM sachant que je risquais de galérer!...j'ai choisi cette option...

j'ai lu un peu tes messages et ton profil ; et je me rend compte qu'on a tous un peu les memes idéaux lorsqu'on quitte la France .Pour ma part c'etait il y a 31 ans; un premier sejour en Algérie qui a duré 6 ans 1/2 .
Expatrié depuis l'age de 21 ans ce mode de vie a donc forgé ma façon d'etre .
J'espére que tu te plairas en Guadeloupe surtout si tu aimes le chaud et la mer 😉.C'est vrai que l'ile est un peu difficile sans possibilté de vehicule perso mais tu dois commencer à t'habituer .
Les problématiques sont à peu prés les mémes qu'en Guyane mais la mentalité est un peu différente , nous avions trouvé les gens plus cool en Guyane ; mais là encore la B Terre est un peu plus cool que de notre coté en Gde Terre
Nous sommes un couple mixte franco-algérien nous avons 2 enfants dont notre fille née en Guadeloupe , alors que nous étions venus avec un CDD d'1 an . Et notre fils l'ainé qui a terminé ses etudes en France vient de rentrer travailler ici car aprés 2 ans ds le Sud il ne s'adaptait pas trop .
Passionnés de voyages aussi la région nous a bien aidé 😏 en ce sens et on espére bien " lever le pied au boulot " pour continuer

car avec mon certificat médical et l'appui des syndicats, je peux essayer de faire pression pour avoir un poste en particulier...je me disais qu'au Moule je pourrai peut être faire du vélo, et il y a la plage + une salle de sport...mais pas les randos...

Le moule a été longtemps une ville non agréable et ou l'aménagement urbain etait nul
ça bouge un peu depuis qqs années ;c'est un peu excentré sur l'ile mais il y a effectivement pas mal d'activités dont la plage de l'autre bord tout prés de la ville mais ds la direction st françois ;il y a un petit centre aquatique et des zones de beach volley des villas et des logements sympas proches de la plage
A l'entrée de la ville il y a le spot de surf le plus réputé de l'ile; et à 2 pas
un centre commercial de petites boutiques avec services banques etc etc
des supers marchés assez bien (carrefour market ;leader price ;discount center etc )
Saint françois est proche en bus
je ne connais pas de salle de sport sur la commune
le velo peut y etre pratiqué sans trop de difficulté mais il faut étre prudent car les accotements sont mal matérialisées au niveau des routes de campagne
Moule reste un gros village et pour venir sur pointe à pitre les circuits de bus sont longs
Il y a qqs randos en grande terre mais pas trop ombragées et plutot sur port louis et anse bertrand
Franchement je pense que B Terre doit étre un peu mieux question variétés d'activités ;il y a un cinéma et à moule un centre culturel assez actif mais rien qui transcende .

bonjour, j'ai vu qu'à Basse Terre il y avait un centre commercial à Desmarais, c'est loin à pied?...
il y a d'autres endroits pour faire ses courses en centre ville?

Desmarais est un centre commercial quasiment à la sortie de B Terre en montant vers St Claude
c'est pas évident d'y aller à pied si tu habites en centre ville.
Il y a des commerces divers et variés interessants au centre ville et pour Desmarais bus necessaire !
Tout dépend ou tu trouveras à loger et ou se trouve ton lieu de travail , je crosi que le plus important en stratégie
c'est de te localiser un logement au plus prés du boulot

et bien je n'ai pas eu à choisir vraiment entre le Moule ou Basse Terre...le destin l'a fait pour moi!
j'étais en train d'essayer de préparer ma lettre( avec difficulté pour le choix!) lorsque j'ai eu l'appel du Trésorier de Basse Terre en personne qui m'a demandé si je voulais bien venir travailler dans son poste!...
il m'a conseillé Basse Terre pour moi qui n'ai pas de voiture et m'a dit qu'il y avait tout sur place, et que les bus fonctionnaient bien!
il m'a dit aussi qu'un immeuble neuf venait de se construire à 300 mètres de la trésorerie, alors ça serait pas mal...du coup j'ai dit oui...
Je suis jamais contente, je me dis que le Moule ça aurait été mieux...bref, j'en sais trop rien...
maintenant c'est fait, ce sera Basse Terre...
Tu sais pour les courses, ici je marche 4 kms pour aller au SUPER U, par contre c'est plat...
Et pour les meubles, il y a tout sur place ou bien je devrai aller à Jarry au Conforama?...
Je vais emmener quelques affaires mais pas tout, je pense revendre ma machine à laver et mon frigo car ça va me faire trop de mètres cubes et je pourrai pas payer!🤪

je crois que la tresorerie est sur le front de mer avec vue sur mer ! et pour les meubles tu pourras faire un tour a baillif sur la zone artisanale et sinon à jarry ; il y a un but a gourbeyre aussi peut etre plus pratique
Le centre ville est à 2 pas de le trésorerie et le marché aux poissons au retour de péche juste devant le marché couvert
je ne connais pas de logements neufs juste proche mais ton "boss" le dis ça "doit le faire " il y a un bon moement que je n'ai pas fais en détail le point sur b terre j'y vais en coup de vent suivre un chantier sur vx fort et retour immédiat ds la "fournaise de jarry "
Je pense que c'est un bon hasard pour toi et mieux que le Moule avec des gens plus joviaux .
à + bon changement de DOM tu verras Karukera est l'ile aux belles eaux et à coté de la Guyane c'est le top pour les palges le snorkeling et la plongée et les randos en BTerre

et mon sursis de 2 mois a été accepté, ce qui fait que j'arrive le 20 octobre, j'ai réservé le gîte des Bananes Vertes (Vert Intense) à Saint Claude pour 2 semaines, ensuite le gîte Les Colibris à Basse Terre, le temps que je trouve un appart!

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.
