A l'été 2013 et pour raisons professionnelles, je vais venir rejoindre le Gabon et ses habitants.
Nous venons en famille pour environ 2 à 3 ans et mes enfants devraient être scolarisés au lycée français ainsi qu'à Gros Bouquet II.
En ce qui concerne le logement, un choix devrait nous être proposé sur place.
Questions :
— Compte tenu de la circulation entre Libreville nord et sud, pensez-vous qu'il serait préférable de souhaiter loger aux environs des écoles ?
— Vous semble-t-il raisonnable de vouloir acheter un véhicule neuf directement auprès de la concession Toyota à Libreville plutôt que d'en faire importer un de France en TT ? (A priori, je serais considéré comme résident fiscal en France).
Le prix indiqué par un contact pour l'équivalent d'un PRADO neuf (remise déduite) s'établirait à environ 33 000 euros.
Il est évident que ce prix est très élevé mais un véhicule neuf permet de « dormir sur ses quatre roues » tranquillement pendant toute la durée du séjour.
Le problème avec un véhicule importé de France ou d'Europe est qu'il n'est pas forcément adapté aux conditions de la région Gabonnaise (climatisation, renfort des ponts et amortisseurs, plaques de protection sous le moteur, blacsonnage, etc.).

Je te conseille fortement de résider à proximité des écoles car les embouteillages sont devenus un enfer sur Libreville...
Quartier à côté des 2 écoles citées : Bas de Gué Gué, Haut de Gué Gué, Batterie IV, Sablière etc...
Par rapport au véhicule, je te conseille de prendre sur place ! Soit d'occasion auprès d'expatriés qui partiraient définitivement du Gabon soit neuf si bien sûr tu as les moyens...

Ce n'est pas la première fois que j'entends parler des problèmes liés à la circulation sur Libreville et c'est pourquoi, il y a de forte chance, que notre choix de logement pourrait se porter sur les quartiers proches des écoles.
En ce qui concerne le véhicule, les avis sont partagés, mon contact sur place me fait savoir qu'il est plus souhaitable d'importer un véhicule de France que d'en acheter un auprès d'expa ; partant de l'expérience acquise en pays Djiboutiens, il évident qu'il convient de se ranger à son avis mais l'un n'excluant pas forcément l'autre, en effet, en y mettant un prix convenable, je pense qu'il est possible de trouver un véhicule en très bon état et récent sur le Gabon, voir à défaut de faire l'acquisition d'un neuf.
Pour ce qui est des moyens, je suis persuadé que les moyens sont bien souvent la résultante d'un choix qu'il conviendra d'assumer.
pour les déménageur pas d alerte il faut au moins 2 devis et bien sur négocié avec eux plus de place et surtout si vous prenez une voiture le dédouanement qu il le prenne a sa charge
pour ma part on ma attribué un PARRAIN , c est a dire une personne sur place que vas trouvé un logement , inscrire mon fils a l école , et tous ce qu il faut "normalement"

I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
The hectares have remained unused for years due to a lack of financial means, since the project requires what I’d call a considerable investment. As the main stakeholder, I have a minimal contribution to offer.

If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
