Voilà, cet été mon amie doit effectuer un stage de deux mois (école de commerce) au Botswana, de juin à juillet, en plein dans mes vacances donc, et je me suis directement dit que c'était l'occasion rêvée de m'engager pendant cette période dans un organisme en tant que bénévole, sachant que je suis étudiant en médecine, cela peut se révéler fort intéressant pour moi, mais si je trouve quelque chose qui sort de ce domaine ça me conviendrait très bien, ce qui compte pour moi c'est le contact avec les gens (car apparemment c'est pas aisé de trouver vers cette destination, là est mon soucis).
J'ai donc fait des recherches, mais je n'ai malheureusement pas trouvé ce que je cherche pour ce pays, mais j'ai probablement mal cherché, c'est surtout que je ne sais vraiment pas vers quoi me tourner, j'ai épluché certains sites en vain, c'est pourquoi je me tourne vers vous.
Où dois-je regarder ? Connaissez-vous un organisme susceptible de m'intéresser ?

Déjà merci pour cette réponse rapide, en effet je suis allé sur le site, et je dois dire que j'étais plutôt emballé par le concept jusqu'à ce que je vois que c'est 1000€ les deux semaines (hébergement, repas, etc), donc je vais regarder ailleurs, je n'ai hélas pas les moyens (déjà le billet d'avion ça suffit !)
Je vais essayer de me renseigner du côté de la Croix Rouge, je sais qu'il y a moyen d'y faire du bénévolat sans être diplômé, donc piste à suivre !

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

We currently have 2 wheelchairs that we would like to give to our partner, the Benin Handisport Federation. If you're traveling to Benin, alone or with someone, we could give you one of these 2 wheelchairs (or both). Out of the 40 kg of luggage you're allowed, a wheelchair will only take up less than half. Our partner can pick it up at Cotonou Airport...

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
