J'ai comme projet de ceer ou reprendre une Guest house dans le type éco lodge en Amerique Centrale ou du Sud en 2011-2012.Mon projet sera base sur les valeurs du tourisme durable/intégré/responsable.
Mon capital de départ est aux alentour de 150K Euros(incluant futur crédit de la banque) Je souhaite commencer avec 8-10 chambres et un café restaurant puis de développer petit a petit des activités impliquant des commerçants, artisans et guides locaux.
J'ai déjà quelques idées de pays comme, le Mexique, Panama, Nicaragua, Brésil..mais il me reste encore quelques recherches a faire et témoignages, opinions a récolter avant de démarrer quoi que ce soit. Je vais d'abord choisir 3-4 pays et partir 3 mois en début d’année pour les visiter et prospecter dans le but de choisir l'endroit ou je souhaite m'installer.
Pour ce qui est de la langue, J'ai un espagnol correct mais compte fortement sur quelques semaines de cours intensif en Espagne et ces 3 mois pour l’améliorer. Pour ce qui est du Bresil, ce pays m’intéresse énormément mais le fait que la langue m'est inconnue me fait le placer en bas de la liste. est ce une erreur?
J'ai déjà effectué des recherches en lignes mais je souhaiterai obtenir des conseils, opinions, contacts pouvant m'aider dans mes choix et démarches.

apprendre le Portugais n'est pas trop un problème cela ressemble à l'Espagnol ; je l'ai appris tout simplement avec une méthode Assimil et je pense assez bien me débrouiller...
Pour les pays à choisir , aller au Nicaragua , Mexique c'est un grand point d'interrogation.
Il ne faut pas se cacher que ( je vais me répèter) l'Amérique latine c'est un continent violent.
Un entrepreneur d'ici ( du Québec) vient de se faire assassiner il y a 10 jours il avait une éco-entreprise qui fabriquait des sacs à mains.
Je ne veux pas faire du catastrophisme mais cela laisse à réfléchir.
L'avantage du Brésil c'est que c'est un pays émergent très prometteur des tas de français s'y installent.
La croissance économique n'y faiblit pas.

Avant de choisir un pays, faites une liste de tout les pays qui vous intéressent avec les requis mentionnés par henridusud, vous allez en éliminer quelques un de cette manière j'en suis certains.

Comptes-tu partir lancer ton projet en solo? avec des locaux?
J'ai habité 13 mois au Chili et ai voyagé dans bcp de pays (Chili, Bolivie, Argentine, Pérou, Paraguay, Uruguay et Brésil) en logeant à chaque fois dans des auberges de jeunesse (rien à voir avec ce qui existe en France!).
J'avais à l'époque fait un plan pour lancer ma propre boite (ouvrir le même genre d'auberge) en France mais ce type de projet nécessite un capital que je n'ai pas.
Cela reste une idée pour plus tard...
Si je peux participer de quelque manière que ça soit dans tes préparatifs, n'hésites pas.
Je pense effectivement qu'il est impératif que tu ailles sur place pendant quelque temps pour t'imprégner un peu de la vie/ambiance, etc. et il est très important de savoir parler un très bon espagnol mais aussi d'autres langues (le plus, le mieux). Je parle suis moi-même trilingue français-anglais-espagnol et parle bien brésilien.
Quelques questions sur toi/ton projet:
- Tu as déjà voyagé en Amérique latine?
- Tu as déjà travaillé en France (ou ailleurs?) quel age?
- Qu'est-ce qui t'a donné cette idée/envie?
2-3 idées/conseils:
- L'Amérique latine est une région qui attire énormement de jeunes de tous les coins du monde, ça peut être très avantageux par rapport au Mexique car tu es suceptible de créer, à terme, un réseau avec d'autres structures semblables à la tienne dans d'autres pays voisins. Etre en amérique du sud plutôt qu'au Méxique - je pense- t'offre la possibilité d'attirer plus de monde.
- Le Brésil est un pays qui change quotidiennement, le tourisme s'y développe beaucoup et les structures existantes sont très différentes d'une ville l'autre, d'une région à l'autre. En 2007 il était par exemple très difficile de trouver quelque chose à Brasilia, pas mal de d'options sur la côté à Fortaleza, Recife, et Salvador beaucoup de choix à Rio ou Salvador... Après tout dépend de l'endroit où tu comptes t'installer (grande ville, plutôt dans la nature - amazonie / andes / pampa, etc.). Le Brésil - comme pas mal de pays en Amérique latine sont toujours assez dangereux - la sécurité est aussi un élément à prendre en compte et pour cela, rien de mieux que de travailler avec des locaux qui connaissent les rélaités du terrain, la ville, les habitudes, la culture, etc.
- Comment évalues-tu tes besoins $, sur quoi tu bases-tu pour ton estimant de 150 KE?

Pres de 2 mois ce sont écoulés depuis ton message. Excuse moi pour ce retard. Je sais ca fait long pour repondre mais j'ai ete pas mal occupé ces derniers mois.
Je viens enfin de réserver mes billets d'avion pour un voyage de 3 mois. Juste 2 tickets: de Bordeaux a Mexico et un retour de Recife au Bresil vers l'Irlande. J'ai fait une sélection des pays et régions favorables au développement de mon projet.
Pour ce qui est du Mexique au Bresil, majoritairement Bus, et certainement prendre un avion du Panama en Colombie.
Départ le 4 février.
Apres quelques recherches, il semble bien que ce projet de reprise ou creation de guest house et de se specialiser dans le tourisme responsable, ecoconstructions....est bien possible pour un etranger. Il faut bien sur faire attention et bien se renseigner pour limiter les risques mais en meme temps il faudra bien se lancer aussi;-)
Les pays ou je souhaite concentrer d'abord mes efforts sont le Mexique(cote pacifique Nord et entre Tulum et Chetual), Belize, Le Panama et le Bresil.

J'ai 29 ans et déjà un peu voyagé(Une vingtaine de pays)mais ce sera mon premier voyage dans la plupart de ces pays d’Amérique Latine(sauf Costa Rica et Panama ou je suis allé il y a 3 ans).J'ai travaillé en France, Australie et 4 ans en Irlande principalement en tant que commercial mais aussi dans la restauration, hôtellerie et pas mal de petits boulots dans des secteurs divers.
Au programme: Découverte des cultures locales, rencontres de contacts, développer un réseau relationnel sur place. Estimation du budget nécessaire(bien+taxes...).

Si tu veux reprendre un guest-house il faut qu'il soit implanté dans une zone relativement touristique où passent les touristes ou bien près d'un site exceptionnel.
Par exemple le Costa Rica est assez touristique , les parcs nationaux attirent du monde.
Donc il faudrait se renseigner sur les pays à fort potentiel touristique.
Par exemple pour le Brésil j'ai un avis plutôt mitigé ce n'est pas un pays à fort potentiel touristique parce que le pays est grand d'une part et parce qu'il n'a peut-être pas autant d'attrait que les autres pays d'Amérique latine.
Et puis voyager au Brésil cela coûte cher.
Ceci dit tu as bien de la chance de posséder 150K euros pour investir

A tu des suggestions pour les sources d'info. Le Costa Rica est en effet un pays fortement visité. Je compte y prêter aussi attention c'est sur. M'y étant deja rendu, J’émettais juste quelques réserves compte tenu du nombre de guest house et eco lodge deja installés sur place.Ceci dit je compte bien etudier et revisiter ce pays et son affluence.

Quand je parle de 150KE, ce n'est bien sur pas ce que je possede a l'heure actuelle a la banque, c'est le budget que je prevoie pour investir(incluant la part de mon futur associé, le pret de la banque et divers financements);-). Une partie de cet argent servira aussi pour aider a vivre et développer le projet dans les premiers mois de l’activité.
