Hi, We received a promotion from our CFC agency offering cruises at up to 40-100% off, and among other details: CFC organizes parking for departures from Dunkirk. "Unattended parking located about 12 minutes away, fenced off with barriers, at a rate of 10 € per day. Drop off passengers and luggage at the Model Pavilion, and a CFC shuttle will take you from the parking lot to the Model Pavilion every 15-20 minutes. Same for disembarkation. You can book through your agency or on their website. No refunds if the booking is canceled; payment is due at reservation." Have a great day, Guylène PS: Personally, we’d rather keep our vehicle in a free, supervised parking lot and take a taxi to the Model Pavilion.

I’m gonna test this boat next week for an evening, a night, and breakfast—I hope I can try everything on board! 😉

Hi Isa,

Let us know how you feel about it so we can compare it with our cruise on this ship in March/April 2025. We’re heading back for the 6-day mini-cruise on this ship in April. Have a great rest of the day! Magguy

😉😉Hey there! The cruise will be short—lol—the boat won’t even leave the port. It’s just a test run. I think this option’s a great way to check out the quality of the services and onboard experience. 😉

Hi Mum, Did you find a supervised parking lot that can be reserved in Dunkirk? Apparently, there’s no way to book for the duration of the cruise. Best regards

Hi Alex, I just sent an email via the Dunkirk parking website (www.dk-stationnement.fr) to find out if it’s possible to reserve two parking spots for us and our kids for the upcoming CFC cruise. The most convenient option seems to be the MOLE 1 parking lot. From there, you can walk (about 25 minutes) or take a taxi to the Pavilion for check-in, since the free shuttles only seem to go to the city center. I’ll get back to you as soon as I hear back from them. Have a great day! Guylène

Hi Mum, The most convenient parking is at Citadelle, right next to the Model Pavilion, but it’s limited to 2 hours. I think Môle 1 (East or West parking) has the same restriction. Best regards

Hi Micax, Regarding the parking duration, it isn’t specified on the website. The only option left would be the unmonitored CFC parking solution... Thanks so much for the info. Have a great day! Guylène

I’ve tried calling the Dunkerque parking hotline several times and... nothing at the end of the line. Our CFC booking file doesn’t mention any parking options—it just says: “check with your agency.” I just sent an email to our agency. I’ll get back to you as soon as I have an answer.

Between us, parking in LE HAVRE was way better with a single rate for cruises. Mum49

Hello, Thanks for the info, but the commitment is a minimum of 3 months. We only need parking from 04/11/26 to 04/16/26. Best regards: Mum49

hi The easiest option is to book a hotel and pay for their parking.

Weird, for your dates, the site offers 24 euros for the whole period...

Hi Nathalie,

We’ve booked accommodation for the night before departure about 1 hour 30 minutes from Dunkirk, since our kids are coming from the west and can only leave in the morning. They’ll meet us at this place, and we’ll finish the trip by following each other. We’ll consider this solution for our next departure from Dunkirk in June. Thanks for your advice. Have a great day! Hello, I must have missed a step. I’ll share the site with our kids—they’re more used to surfing the web than we are. Thanks again for your advice. Have a great day! Mum 49

Hi, Our kids preferred booking through CFC. We’ll let you know what we think of the site after we get back. Have a great weekend! Magguy

Hi there, Just back from the Tulip Cruise (trip report posted on the site in another thread about pools). We used the parking for CFC cruises. As mentioned in the other report, you need to drop off luggage and passengers at the model pavilion, then go park your vehicle at the parking lot on Route du Pertuis du Môle 2 Freycinet 5 and 6. There’s security staff to check that parking is paid and to direct you where to park. Return to the model pavilion by shuttle, which runs every 10/12 minutes (max 18 people on board WITHOUT LUGGAGE). Once boarding formalities are done, a bus takes you to the ship. Mum49
