Je pars le 20 avril pour l'Australie avec un WHV. Je vais atterrir a Sydney.
Avez vous des auberges de jeunesse pas chère à me conseiller ou d'autres idées de logements bon marché pour les premiers jours?
Je compte d'abord travailler avant de voyager mais mon niveau d'anglais est très moyen (l'améliorer est un des buts de ce voyage :) et je pense donc d'abord m'orienter vers du fruitpicking.
En arrivant fin avril vers où faut il aller pour trouver ce type de boulot? combien est ce payé en moyenne et le logement est t-il sur place, dans les fermes? faut-il une tente?
Je vais me renseigner aussi du coté du WWOOFing dans les fermes bio, mais je voudrai pouvoir mettre un peu d'argent de coté pour pouvoir, a la fin du WHV, rentrer par la Mongolie, redescendre sur le népal, l'inde... bref je ne veux pas fermer l'aventure dans un itinéraire pré établi, c'est la beauté du voyage 😛
En dehors de ça, je m'interesse aussi beaucoup au éco villages et j'ai entendu dire qu'ils étaient bien développés en australie. quelqu'un a t il des infos a ce sujets?
Egalement sur les Aborigènes et leurs cultures. quels sont les types de contacts possible avec cette population? est ce complétement "folklorique et touristique"? qu'en est-il?
Et enfin, étant une grande fanatique de sons, avez vous des festivals a me conseiller, a ne pas manquer? j'ai des gouts forts eclectiques en musique (a part le mainstream🤪), electro dub, D&B, psytrance(que j'ai découvers au BOOM festival en 2008🙂, funk, jazz, "world music", hio hop, ...
Si d'autres personnes sont interessées par ces thêmes, je vais aussi faire des recherches de mon coté et serai ravie de les diffuser 😉
Alors je tiens a te preciser que JSUIS PAS encore partit en australie, néanmoins j'ai pas mal d'amis qui y sont allés et j'y pars moi meme dans 2 mois donc j'ai pas mal prospecté et pris d'infos sur tout ces sujets, mon but étant de voyager dans toute l'australie les 3 premiers mois en van avant de bosser (linverse de toi en fait ^^)
Pour ce qui est de l'auberge de jeunesse, je conseille sur sydney l'auberge Sydney beachhouse YHA. c'est la celebre chaine hostelling international qui la gere, c'est clean et en plein centre de sydney, tout en étant a 40$ la nuit ca reste donc ben correct!
Ensuite pour ce qui est du fruitpicking, a la période ou tu vas arriver c'est pile le demarrage de la récolte de strawberrys donc c'est des choses que tu peux trouver pas mal autour de melbourne ou en tout cas dans le queensland tu devrais telephoner au numero réservé au fruitpicking la bas ils te fileront des adresses de coin pas mal ;) tchater avec des backpackers est aussi un super moyen de trouver des bons plans et de pas voyager seul :)
POur les écovillages je connais pas trop je sais que ca se fait beaucoup au nord avec les aborigenes et que c'est plutot sympa mais contraignant au niveau des taches a effectuer c'est tout ce que je peux te dire la dessus.
pour les contacts avec les aborigenes, la c'est un gros sujet sensible en australie, sachant que le traitement qu'ils ont eu est semblable a celui des indiens en amérique...en gros en villes tu vois des aborigenes souvent la pour l'alcool et sinon ils sont regroupés dans leurs réserves au nord de l'australie mais l'acces est tres limité voir meme interdit... pas facile facile comme contact a vrai dire...
Enfin pour la zic je peux rien te dire, ca j'ai fait qu'au canada ou je vis actuellement et je connais pas du tout les festivals, meme si je me doute que la période estivale cad entre novembre et mars doit etre celle la plus propice a ce genre d'évenements...

Pour Elisa, j'aurais aimé savoir si tes premiers pas dans le pays se passe bien et si tu as trouvé faclement du fruit picking à faire. Je n'ai pas un niveau d'anglais très élevé moi non plus, est ce que ça t'a bloquée pour trouver un job?
J'attérie à Sydney et ma première idée était de trouver un van pour faire le tour de l'australie avec et après faire du fruit picking. Mais étant toute seule je me demande si c'est bien nécessaire car c'est un budget à prendre en compte. As tu du mal pour te déplacer ou te loger pas cher près de ton lieu de travail?
Pour Damien, je ne suis pas très forte coté van alors j'aurais aimé savoir combien tu compte mettre dans l'achat de ton van car si j'en achète un je n'aimerai pas tomber en panne dès la première semaine?

J'ai bien trippé a lire ton message, on semble aimer les mêmes chOz dans la vie, festival, écologie... et j'ai pour but d'aller en Australie le 23 septembre pour un an, en espérant travailler suffisamment pour ensuite réaliser le rêve d'aller en inde !!!
Bref, donc on devrais bien s'entendre et surtout se refilé tous les bons petits plans trouver sur place !
(je pars un peu beaucoup a l'arrache faut dire... mais j'ai ouie dire qu'il y avais un couple magnifique d'australien, lui aborigène, elle non, et que si tu bossais pour eux en WWOOFing, tu pourrais, en plus de passer de merveilleux instants avec des gens trés enrichissants, apprendre du travail bio de la ferme, construire ton propre didjéridoo, et apprendre à en jouer ! Donc faut que je récupère l'adresse ! )
Sinon, chose classique et touristique a ma vue de non connaisseur, c'est nimbin... On y fume des joints donc beaucoup de frenchy y vont pour se la coller, se que je comprend, mais a mon avis, y'a beaucoup plus a prendre que la calote du thc... si tu vas voir le site internet de nimbin, je pense que tu peux pas révé trouver mieux comme écovillage !!!
Cultures bio, entraide sur les bases du respect, bref, je connais pas encore, mais je pense que les habitants doivent dégagé quelque chose de vraiment profond sur des airs de hippies moderne...
Moi je voudrais surtout pas ratté sa !

Our departure time is getting closer (we have less than 2 years left—it’s both a long time and so short!). To start preparing seriously, we’ll need quite a bit of info. If anyone knows the rates charged by movers for a crate to French Polynesia, or what pitfalls to avoid (I know you can get quotes directly from movers, but I’d love insights from actual customers😉).
