J'écris depuis le bureau où j'ai un magnifique point de vue sur le ciel gris et une nationale. Taux de productivité 0, j'en profite pour me renseigner un peu et je tombe sur ce forum, comment ai-je pu rater ça ! Je me lance, je vous explique le topo. J'ai 20 ans, et je suis en école d'ingénieur d'informatique qui d'ailleurs m'a envoyé en stage en entreprise (une grande SSII pour les conaisseurs) où je suis actuellement. Et que dire, a part que je me vois mal continuer ma vie comme ça, pourtant j'ai un bureau de 20m², la clim, je suis bien payé, 20m² de baie vitrée en façe, je bosse 7h par jour tranquillement et pourtant, je ne rêve que de partir. Pas en vacances, partir.
Le rythme de vie qu'impose la société actuelle ne me convient pas, je sais bien que malheureusement vivre sans restrictions aucune est impossible mais j'ai cogité (tout est relatif, venant de ma part) et j'en suis venu à cette idée:
Partir en Islande, j'ai lu quelques carnets de voyages de forumeurs, me suis renseigné légèrement sur le pays, qui m'attirait déjà tout petit, lobotomisé par France5 et ses reportages. Mince, ça en fait du blabla, et pour pas grand chose, j'abrège. En gros je souhaiterai terminer mes études (j'ai commencé, et a 5K€ l'année autant finir) puis partir là bas juste après, avec les quelques pécules que j'aurai économisé (paye de stage, petits boulots, papa/maman). Je parle très bien anglais, pas bilingue mais pas loin, ce qui me facilitera la tâche. Malheureusement on ne peut pas vivre d'amour et d'eau fraîche, et Into the wild c'était quand même des conneries, il va falloir gagner ma croute là bas, et j'ai pas envie de retomber dans un bureau. J'ai envisagé deux solutions, à ceux qui connaissent de me dire si c'est possible.
Recommencer des études en Islande, 2/3 ans maximum, en rapport avec l'environnement (pas la pêche, je préfère la terre ferme), pour avoir un job qui me permettrai de bosser relativement loin des grandes villes (grandes pour l'Islande), avec un salaire qui me permettrai de ne pas crever de faim, mais pas de me payer une BM. Possible ? Rêve ? Trouver un job d'ouvrier rural (agriculture, bucheronage ?), bosser le temps de se faire assez d'argent pour se construire/acheter une petite bicoque (mouarf), et vivre de petits boulots, de chasse et de pêche une fois installé.
Ca fait un peu pavé, vous m'en excuserez, tout çela est un brouillon bien sûr, je ne ferai rien avant d'avoir tout planifié et y avoir mûrement réfléchi, je voudrai juste des avis, de gens qui conaissent ce magnifique pays ou qui ont voulu vivre / vécu ce genre d'expèrience.

Je n'ai jamais vécu là bas, mais de ce que j'en sais via les islandais, mes observations en vrac : le coût de la vie est chère, même pour eux, et pas mal de gens cumulent les boulots. le chomage est quasi nul, et il semble très facile de trouver du boulot, à condition de ne pas être regardant sur une branche précise. Là, ça devient bcp plus compliqué. Les grands villes islandaises ne sont en rien comparables avec ce qu'on peut connaître en France. Reykjavik est grande comme une ville de Province(120.000 hab, 200.000 avec toute la banlieue), et qui plus est assez moche. La 2e ville du pays, Akureyri au Nord serait un choix idéal si je devais m'installer là bas. Relativement grande ville (15.000 hab), ambiance plus cool et décor magnifique. Vivre de chasse et de pèche, je ne pense pas. Pour la chasse, il faudrait qu'il y ait qqch à chasser -:) Il y a très peu de forêts, donc peu de gibier. Seulement du petit, ou des chevaux (privés) et des rennes dans les montagnes. Pour la pèche, on peut pêcher librement dans de nombreuses rivières, mais de là à en faire commerce...je sais pas.
Globalement, l'Islande est un pays moderne et je crois que ta vision "vivre en communion avec la nature avec le strict minimum" est assez loin de la réalité. Certes il y a de grands espaces déserts, mais s'ils le sont ce n'est pas pour rien. L'intérieur des terres est totalement inhabitable. Dans les villes (et même les villages) c'est internet, tout paiement par carte bleue etc...Pour ce genre de trucs, mieux vaut aller en Inde ou ce genre de pays émergeants à mon avis...
A mon avis, ta 1e solution est nettement plus réaliste.
Le mieux ça serait qd même que tu y ailles (si tu fais camping, stop ou bus etc ça ne revient pas si cher que ça) pour te faire une idée. L'hostilité des paysages est certes fascinante, mais enfin il faut aimer (perso j'adore mais j'appréhenderai d'aller y vivre). Passer un mois sans voir le soleil aussi, bref, c'est quand même un monde à part...
De toute façon je ne comptais pas aller m'y installer sans au préalable avoir visité, la TV et internet c'est bien mais un contact réel est obligatoire.

Des conneries dans le fait qu'a 1KM de là ou il était il y avait un bac pour traverser après la fonte des neiges, des conneries dans le fait qu'a moins de 10 kilomètres il y avait un stock de nourriture / fournitures exprès pour les aventuriers / trappeurs du coin.
Il est vrai que on a tous (ou presque..) un désir fou d'aller voir ailleurs, de quitter son quotidien habituel. C'est en celà que Into the Wild est une belle invitation au voyage mm si l'envie de fuir la société est poussée un peu loin.
Ton projet est vraiment audacieux et c'est clair que ça fait rêver d'aller vivre dans un pti coin de paradis (enfin c'est une question de gout).
Pour ma part, j'ai choisi aussi l'Islande pour me "déconnecter" un peu. Je pars en faire le tour en vélo pdt tout le mois d'Aout prochain en solitaire avec pas mal de camping sauvage probablement.J'attends ce moment avec impatience.. et je pense que je ne vais pas le regretter.
En tout cas je te souhaite bonne chance en espérant que te mène ton projet à bien!
Je suis avec intérêt la discussion que tu as initiée. Sache que nulle place au monde ne pourra répondre à ton désir de trouver un ailleurs meilleur si au départ tu n'es pas bien dans ta peau à l'endroit où tu vis maintenant. Partir n'est pas une solution en soi.
Cela étant dit, pour avoir été en Islande durant les mois de mai et juin et en être revenu depuis bientôt plus d'un mois... je reste encore complètement sous le choc!
De tous les nombreux pays visités, à l'Est, à l'Ouest, au Nord et au Sud, l'Islande, avec les Islandais, demeure celui qui m'aura le plus profondément marqué...
Je viens juste de le revoir, t'as raison dans le sens ou c'est un film et assez idéalisé c'est vrai. Le héro un peu parfait qui rencontre plein de gens géniaux, j'dis pas que c'est pas vrai mais on nous montre un peu le meilleur. Par contre pour ce qui est du pont et de la réserve pour trappeurs, il y en avait réellement je crois. J'ai pas vu le documentaire de Ron Lamothe qui s'appelle Call of the wild, mais d'apres diverses sources (sites notamment), certains disent qu'il avait une carte et qu'il avait bien ses papiers d'identités, etc. La vision de la liberté et du départ "coup de tete" est un peu enjolivée chez Penn .
Mais j'voulais dire que c'est tiré d'un fait réel quoi, et j'aime beaucoup l'idée / scénario, meme si c'est pas fidèle à la réalité à 100 % de ce qui a du se passer. ça reste quand meme un beau film, par contre j'sais pas s'ils ont eu les témoignages des personnes qu'il a rencontrées pour faire le scénar ou s'ils ont un peu inventé, mais y a pas mal de coincidences qui rendent son périple "facile", d'autant plus qu'on voit en 2h 2 ans de sa vie xD donc logique.
En tout cas comme l'a dit thibaud ton projet est d'un chouette que j'espère que tu réaliseras un peu cet évasion :) Bon courage pour la suite.
Il existe des compagnies a l'etranger qui permettent le travail en rotation, c'est a dire un mois de travail puis un mois de repos. C'est un rythme de travail qui devrait te convenir.
Je n'oublie pas, mais je n'envisage rien tant que je n'ai pas un solide bagage derrière, c'est à dire encore 2 ans d'études pour mon diplôme d'ingénieur...

Alors moi je l'ai fait, déménager en Islande, je suis partie toute seule, sans aucun diplôme, ça ne fait pas très longtemps (9 mois) mais je suis vraiment ravie et je ne veux pas rentrer vivre en France. Effectivement il y a peu de chômage, personnellement j'avais quelques relations avant de venir et du coup un job aussi. Parler anglais te sera très utile, on rencontre ici beaucoup de personnes qui ne parlent pas Islandais et pourtant travaillent, mais c'est sûr que c'est quand même mieux de parler islandais avec le temps pour être mieux intégré. Personnellement j'habite à Reykjavík, toute petite capitale qui me fait penser à Besançon, ma ville d'origine.
Je n'ai pas encore eu l'occasion de voyager dans le nord de l'Islande mais j'y compte bien, j'en entends toujours parler comme un magnifique endroit. Concernant la pêche, il t'est possible de travailler dans ce domaine tout en gardant les pieds sur terre, j'ai des amis dans le nord de l'Islande qui font cela, notamment concernant l'hébergement des pêcheurs ou ce genres de choses. Tu peux aussi t'occuper d'une Guesthouse pour les touristes par exemple, je connais aussi une dame française qui fait ça et apparemment ça marche bien pour elle.
Voila tout ce que je peux te dire, sinon d'aller au bout de ton objectif, surtout qu'en Islande la vie est relativement facile pour les étrangers, et très facile pour les membres de l'UE de s'installer et vivre. Bien sûr c'est bien de réfléchir correctement à ce que tu fais, mais ne te freine pas trop non plus, surtout si en France tu gardes une "roue de secours" si je puis dire, si tu as des parents qui peuvent t'aider au cas où ça ne marcherait pas en Islande... Par contre c'est sûr qu'ici aussi la crise économique est assez grave, mais d'ici deux ans tu verras comment les choses ont évolué.

3) Construire un service de santé
4) Construire une école maternelle et primaire
5) Construire des logements gratuits pour expatriés à la retraite en échange de leurs participations gratuite dans leurs domaines respectives.
Ceci étant un projet dont j'y crois , j'invite toutes personnes intéressées à apporter une touche personnelle, sous la forme d'un conseil, une orientation et enfin une implication.
NB: projet à l'échelle nationale et internationale au niveau de l'emplois.
