Ca aurait été avec plaisir de répondre à tes questions mais nous, nous vivons en République Dominicaine à Las Terrenas. Un véritable petit paradis pour nos enfants comme pour nous qui est riche en apprentissage! Des gens formidables, un apprentissage progressif à la langue car à Las Terrenas beaucoup de gens parlent français! Nous avons d'ailleurs une école frnacaise avec un tès bon niveau et extraodinaire sont les professeurs!

On hésitait nous au départ vers la guadeloupe mais notre choix c'est fait sur Las Terrenas!
Pour la voiture mieux vaut acheter, pour le côté pratique la Grande terre et une partie de la basse terre (baie mahault petit bourg) st très bien même si la Basse-terre est l'endroit le plus agréable pour les amoureux de la nature.
Sinon à mon avis, mieux vaut tt acheter ici, ça te reviendra à moins cher sauf si tu tiens à un meuble ou truc en particulier (faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'ikea ici à mon grand regret d'ailleurs, bref).

Je ne connais pas du tout la republique dominicaine , j'avoue ne meme pas avoir pensé a y aller ..
Pour le moment nous avons "visé" la Guadeloupe parce que c'est Francais .. Je ne me sens pas de faire des papiers pour les visas ... j'ai ete tellement decu par mon refus de residence par le canada ... que je suis maintenant reticente a toutes demarches ! 🤪

Rien de plus facile que de vivre en Rép Dom pas besoin de visa et en ce qui concerne faire les papiers pour avoir la cedular Dominicaine rien à faire on s'occupe de vous!
La vie est tres agréable ici et l'adaptation se fait vraiment progressivement par rapport à la langue.
En ce qui concerne les locations, tout dépend de ce que tu recherches car les prix varient.

Nous venons de nous installer en famille à la Guadeloupe et voici mes réponses à tes questions :
La zone la plus développée économiquement est Jarry qui est grosso modo entre Grande et Basse Terre. Mais de mon point de vue, la Grande Terre est plus agréable que Basse Terre à privilégier toutefois si on est très nature (réserve Cousteau, rando etc.).
La vie ici est moins chère que tout ce qui est dit surtout les loyers (côté nourriture nous privilégions les promos comme 6E les 24 petits suisses, le marché et un poissonnier de bord de route qui vend ses produits à 12E le KG). Et les agences immobilières peuvent être très conciliantes pourvu que tu aies déjà un employeur.
Pour ce qui est meubles, électroménager etc. il est intéressant de tout apporter si ton employeur prend en charge le déménagement. Sinon, il est possible de les trouver ici surtout auprès de ceux qui partent et vendent tout ou encore une fois grâce aux promos (250 E le frigo chez But en ce moment).
Nous sommes arrivés début 2010.
Et pour confirmer que la vie Outre-mer est moins chère que ce qui est couramment dit, ici on paie moins d impôts que en Métropole à revenu égal...
Alors, vous avez choisi entre la Guadeloupe et la Rép. Dominicaine?
😎Nous allons nous aussi nous installer en Guadeloupe. Nous faisons construire 4 petits gîtes à côté de Bouillante. Nous serons en Guadeloupe pour les vacances de Pâques pour faire quelques travaux avant d'occuper les lieux définitivement pour la fin de l'année. Nous avons hâte. Dans ce type d'expérience, bien sûr, c'est utile d'avoir des avis, mais ce qui compte réellement, c'est vous. Il y aura toujours des personnes qui vivront une même expérience de façon différente. La Guadeloupe est un véritable paradis où la grande majorité de la population vous accueille chaleureusement si vous savez être respectueux et humble. La vie n'est pas si chère si vous savez consommer local et profiter des promotions. Je viens d'assurer notre maison et je peux vous confirmer qu'à garanties égales, la prime sera moins élevée en Guadeloupe qu'en Bretagne alors que les risques climatiques sont beaucoup plus importants en Guadeloupe.
Et puis si cela ne vous convient pas, rien ne vous empêchera de partir. L'essentiel, c'est d'avoir tenté et ne pas avoir de regrets...

Dans un premier temps, en Rep Dom nous avons beaucoup d'avantage que dans les DOM TOM. Nous ne payons aucun impôt, ni sur les revenus.
Nous trouvons de très bon placement que nous trouverons nul par ailleur!!!Je pourrais vous en parler si vous le souhaitez.
Ensuite à part dire que nous avons la 4ème plus belle plage du monde, que nous avons un paysage magnifique avec des paysages luxuriants, des plages de rêve! Les Dominicains sont très charmants et très accueillants, je ne pourrais même pas trouver les mots pour exprimer le bonheur d'être ici!!!C'est une population fantastique et on s'adapte très facilement ici, je dirais même sans aucun problème.
Tu seras aussi que LT a de nombreuses infrastructures qui se font : nouvelle autoroute de LT - SANTO DOMINGO, de l'eau potable, un golf, aéroport, ....
Donc LT est promu à un avenir formidable!!!!
Comme travail sur LT , tout dépend de ce que vous savez faire car nous avons un large choix à proposer pour être heureux ici!!
