Bonjour, je suis français et je travailles actuellement sur Zurich. Celà fait 4 mois maintenant. J'ai donc tous mes papiers et je suis tombé amoureux de ce pays.
Mon problème est que je ne m'y fait pas à cette vie, Zurich est le coté allemand que je ne maitrise pas du tout. En plus mon travail commence vraiment à me déplaire, je suis sur le point de le quitter.
Seulement je ne veux pas quitter la suisse, c'est propre, c'est jolie, on est en sécurité, les gens sont accueillant, chaleureux.
J'aimerais juste vivre sur le territoire français et y travailler bien sûr.
Selon vous, quel endroit serait le plus approprié? Sur Genève on m'a déjà dit que c'est difficile, je pensais plutôt en Lausanne.
Je pourrais facilement trouver une chambre ou un appart, le seul problème étant le travail. Si je ne trouve pas en un mois, je risque d' être en danger.
J'ai pensé à l'intérim dans un premier temps. Je suis assez polyvalent, la seule chose qui ne m'intéresse pas c'est la restauration.
Sinon j'ai travaillé dans la manutention, la vente, chauffeur-livreur...

Etant romande exilée en Suisse allemande je comprend parfaitement tes problèmes d'adaptation! Par contre si tu désire de l'aide explique mieux la diffficulté, langue ou mentalité Allemande? Et de quel papier tu dispose exactement? De plus ta demande n'est pas vraiment claire! Tu ne souhaite pas quitter la Suise pour son confort, mais résider en France!!!? Autant t'annoncer la couleur tout de suite, très mal vu, mes compatriotes sont nombreux à croire que les étrangers leur enlèvent le pain de la bouche! Je sais pas si tu connais! le sketch de Fernand Reynaud qui illustre parfaitment mon propos, il faut juste changer les pays.
Si tu pars dans cet optique, les chances de décrocher un job sont bien compromises, désolée. En ce moment, en raison de crise le marché du travail est plutôt fermé, surtout en Suisse Romande et pour les *étrangers". Dans un premier temps je te suggère de chercher du coté Bâle / Basel, une des plus grande ville Suisse et comme située aux 3 frontières plus cosmopolite. Il est bien évident qu'en travaillant en Suisse, je veux résider en Suisse et ne pas faire comme beaucoup de français font.
J'ai pensé à Lausanne. Un endroit au hasard, aussi me dit-on que sur Genève se serait très difficile de trouver du travail.
Yverdon est assez petit.
Merci de me conseiller Bale/Basel, je devrait surement m'y pencher. Zurich j'adore mais c'est surtout la barrière de la langue et mon travail qui ne me convient plus.
Sinon, la mentalité, la propreté et le respect des gens me conviennent du plus haut point.
Je comprend aussi que pour un étranger, ce serait plus difficile de trouver un travail, celui-ci étant prioritairement donné aux Suisses ce dont je suis apte à comprendre.
En poussant un petit peu mes recherches, j'ai vu que sur Genève, il y a très peu de chômage, j'ai donc pensé à cette solution.
Enfin mes compétences sont très vastes, je m'adapte facilement à tout type de travail, qu'il soit manuel ou administratif.
Je pourrais, je pense trouver un emploi sur Bâle, disposant d'un permis de séjour "B" (donc 5 ans), d'un permis de conduire suisse et d'une bonne expérience dans le domaine du travail.

Pour Bâle/Basel, étant une grande ville elle ofrre + de possibilités d'embauches et l'opportunité de loger en France ou en Allemagne. Par contre si pour toi la langue est un problème, ce n'est pas la solution, car c'est toujours la Suisse Allemande. Mais tu peux y rencontrer de nombreux francophones, des romands exilés comme moi (non je n'ai pas été muté, mais ne trouvant pas de job en Romandie, j'ai du me déplacer), des frontaliers ou résidents Français. Du fait de sa situation, la mentalité est entre Allemande et Française, si tu regarde les résultats des nombreuses votations populaires, la pluspart du temps c'est la seule ville germanophnone qui vote comme les Romands.
Il est clair que le taux de chomage est relativement bas en Suisse, mais il est plus difficle de trouver un emploi en Suisse Romande. L'argent et les grandes villes sont du coté Suisse Allemand, sauf bien entendu Genève (mais je ne pense pas pas évident d'y décrocher un job). Si pour toi le problème est la langue, la Romandie te conviens mieux, la difficulté est de trouver un travail, mais certainement pas impossible, par contre il faut t'armer de patience! et ne pas tout plaquer sur un coup de tête. Pour sa situation géographique Lausanne est bien, au bord du lac, proche des montagnes, ni trop grande, ni trop petite.

Trouver un appartement ou une chambre entre Genève et Lausanne, ce n'est pas très aisé et pas très bon marché.
Euh, on ne doit pas avoir les mêmes chiffres pour les taux de chômage...
Situation août 2010 :
"S'il est resté stable en août en Suisse, le taux de chômage a continué de monter à Neuchâtel (+0,2 point). Avec un taux de 6,3%, le canton se rapproche de Genève (6,8%) où le chômage a toutefois reculé de 0,1 point en août.

Tu as parfaitement raison, la Suise Romande et le Tessin sont beaucoup plus touché par le chômage (principalement Genève), c'est bien la raison qui m'a fait quitter la Romadie il y a 20ans. Ma réponse allai dans ce sens, je n'ai cité aucun chiffre, je pensais seulement à la moyenne Suisse ~4,5%, alors que chez nos voisins elle est comprise entre 7 à 10%.
Je pense que si Steph habite Zürich, il est parfaitement au courant des difficultés et coût pour se loger. C'est tout de même la ville la plus chère de Suisse et où l'on rencontre le plus de difficulté à se loger. A moins que j'ai mal comprris son message!

Merci pour les réponses. Donc si je comprends bien, il vaut mieux éviter Genève et Berne. Il reste Yverdon et Lausanne (je pense).
Pour se loger je ne pense pas que ce soit si difficile mais onéreux certes. Partir à l'aventure ce n'est pas pour moi. Si je trouve un logement et qu'au bout de 3 semaines je n'ai pas trouvé d'emplois alors là ce serait l'angoisse.
Pensez-vous qu'un job est si difficile à trouver? De l'intérim, n'importe quoi mais un premier emploi au moins.
Effectivement cette solution semble plus logique. Je me renseigne avant de perdre mon temps. Par exemple je prospecte prioritairement sur Lausanne que sur Genève.
Je suis d'accord également. D'abord le travail, ensuite l'appart!
Par contre, sans contrat de travail à durée indéterminé il te sera difficile de trouver une gérance qui accepte de te faire signer un bail, il faudra fournir des garanties en plus de la caution (3mois de loyer).
Comme il est déjà assez difficile de trouver un appart sur Lausanne, pourquoi pas essayer la colocation dans un premier temps?

After living for many years in the West (Belgium, Italy, Switzerland),
I’ve decided to return and settle in Cameroon, my home country.
Currently an entrepreneur in real estate and transport, I’m looking for a partner / partners / foundation to collaborate on an agriculture project, as I own 10 hectares of land.
