Je suis intéressée par la réalisation de documentaires, de reportages et tout... et je voudrais faire un documentaire au Maroc sur les régions du Sud, un truc sur la culture de ses régions .. Le thème n'est pas encore bien cerné ce n'est encore qu'une idée.
C'est pour celà que j'aimerais bien avoir des conseils, des idées, des personnes pour m'accompagner dans cette aventure, des associations pour nous aider peut etre ...
C'est quelque chose qui me tient à coeur, même si la société marocaine ne tolère pas ce genre d'activité d'activité pour les femmes...
L'idée est bonne ! Ne t'inquiete pas pour la société marocaine tu ne seras pas la premiére marocaine sur le documentaire ni le cinéma . il ya au maroc plusieurs marocaines qui ont réalisé aussi bien de bons documentaires que films etc...

Dans notre cas, on ne peut compter sur l'état marocain puisqu'il ne donne d'aide qu'au réalisateur ayant déjà sortie 3 courts métrages ...

Que veut tu dire par "la société marocaine de tolère pas ce genre de choses pour les femmes" ? Je connais quand même des journalistes femmes marocaines...
Si tu parles du tabou sur la représentation de la femme, et le refus de beaucoup d'entre elles de se laisser filmer, dans les coins traditionnels, c'est effectivement une réalité, mais au contraire comme marocaine tu as plus de chances d'y arriver.
"les différents participants pourrait cotiser" ? Tu veux dire les participants à ton film ou les participants à ton projet ? Pour le premier, oublie, on te demandera plutôt de payer pour accepter d'être filmé, que l'inverse. Pour le deuxième... si ton projet est convaincant, donc beaucoup plus structuré que ta première idée ici.
La première chose à faire est de monter ton projet, tes idées : savoir ce que tu veux montrer, pourquoi, comment, raconter l'histoire. Sinon, ton projet n'a aucune réalité concrète, et donc il ne peut pas attirer les gens. Même si tu ne connais pas tous les détails, tu dois bien avoir quand même une première idée, une approche, ne serait ce que savoir pourquoi tu t'intéresses au Sud, et à quoi particulièrement ?

J'ai un penchant vers le domaine de l'audiovisuel c'est pour celà que je desire réaliser mon projet de fin d'étude sur le domaine, et j'aimerais bien que le documentaire soit mon projet de fin d'études. Normalement, c'est pour février, mars nchallah.
J'ai choisi de faire l'audiovisuel pr défendre des causes, pour faire passer des messages en images, pour montrer aux gens que quelque part ailleurs y'a des gens qui souffrent, qui ont des soucis et qui besoin d'aide...
Pour ce qui est du documentaire, au fait, la cotisation concernée bien évidemment, les personnes qui feront partie du voyage et nn les figurants ou les interrogés... Mais j'aurais préféré avoir l'aide d'un organisme. J'ai vu le site du CCm (merci pour le lien) mais il ne prévoit rien pour les étudiants ni pour les débutants d'ailleurs...

Soit, filmer tout le voyage, ça sera comme "une tournée", ou peut etre comme les randonnées à dos de chameau et tt ... ça prendra plus de temps, et là ça nous permettra de voir des gens, de connaitre la nature de la région, les traditions, de visiter les maisons d'hotes, les kalaâtes (palais) peut etre meme ...
Mais il ya encore beaucoup de choses auxquelles il faut penser. Ca reste encore une idée à creuser.

pour ce qui de mon expérience. Au fait, j'ai travailler sur un court métrage, donc mon expérience est encore maigre mais j'ai vraiment envie de développer mon savoir faire à travers ce documentaire et des choses qui suiveront...
Le but, en plus d'etre personnel, est de faire connaitre la région du sud, au delà des idées stéréotypées que se font d'elles les européens ou encore les gens du nord... de promouvoir sa culture, de faire connaitre les richesses du sud et la diversité culturelle qui y existe... Et pourquoi pas aider la région, que ce soit par la promotion du tourisme de la région ou bien les petites associations et coopératives du Sud.

d'abord est ce que tu as le matériel nécessaire? à savoir une caméra avec un bon rendu visuel et un bon micro externe (car le micro interne des cam est souvent de qualité médiocre) ou une perche? des dv? et une base informatique de montage vidéo?
personnellement je ne pense pas que le tourisme aide les cultures locales...car au contact des touristes les autochtones perdent de leur authenticité et se pervertissent souvent...je l'ai vu en amerique du sud et en asie...et franchement les traditions ne perdurent en certains endroits que pour les interets du tourisme et ça c'est triste...
je pense que le côté touristique il vaut mieux l'oublier si tu veux mettre en avant la vie des gens car la culture prise dans sa vérité ne peut pas s'aborder par le tourisme à mon avis...ce qui compte c'est la rencontre avec les gens...le paysage en toile de fond mais omniprésent car l'homme est insépérable de l'environnement dans lequel il vit...il y a toujours une relation d'interdépendance entre l'intérieur et l'extérieur...
il faut toujours prévoir des plans coupes pour donner de la respiration au film et faire retomber parfois la tension, ou l'emotion...
et quand tu fais tes prises il faut toujours penser à la trame du scénario qui viendra derriere...car le scénario se construit en général au montage mais il s'anticipe pendant le tournage...
ensuite ce que je peux faire pour te donner un coup de main par la suite c'est te mettre en relation avec une association de la faculté d'ethnologie de bordeaux...car chaque année fin mars elle organise un festival du film ethnologique et je pourrai leur passer ton film pour qu'il soit présenté dans ma ville...enfin ça c'est pour quand tu auras fini...mais il y a du pain sur la planche avant...
je vais réfléchir à ton projet dans les jours qui viennent pour essayer de te donner d'autres points de vue si je peux...

Je suis tout à fait d'accord avec toi sur le fait que le tourisme ne joue pas toujours en la faveur de la culture des régions surtout quand ce sont les autochtones qui sont attirés le plus par les touristes et non le contraire... Et c'est malheureux.

After many trips to the south of Fès, I’m giving the north a try.
My plan is roughly to do a road trip loop from Rabat back to Rabat, passing through Asilah, Tangier, Tétouan, Chefchaouen, Akchour, Fès, Meknès, and Volubilis.
That’s a lot of cities.
Probably a bit too many for our taste—we usually prefer more isolated spots...
So I’m looking for tips on little backroads, secluded beaches, half-day hikes, and offbeat places.

Then, when I mentioned I wanted to stay for two or three weeks—maybe even a month—explaining that my trip wouldn’t be strictly touristy but more of a pilgrimage to the places of my childhood, and that it would likely be a very emotional journey, I expected a positive and warm reaction to my approach. Instead, I suddenly stopped getting replies from the three or four people I’d contacted. So now I’m wondering about the reception former Pieds-Noirs can expect...

- Does it need to cover the entire duration of the trip?
- Is this document mandatory for a hotel to rent a room?
- Is it checked during inspections?
- Is a hotel booking (e.g., via Booking.com) sufficient for the visa?
- If so, does it need to be paid in advance?
I plan to visit several cities and do one or more treks with a guide or agency.

I’m leaving for Tunisia in five weeks for a full 15-day trip. I’ll be arriving in Monastir and departing from there as well.
I’d like to do a route that’s a bit different from my first stay, which was more focused on cities and culture (Tunis, Sousse, Kairouan, El Jem).
I’ll be getting around by public transport.
I’d like to head south toward Tozeur, and I saw that you can take a *louage* from Monastir to Sbeitla (2h30). I imagine it’s not too complicated to get to Tozeur from there afterward? The issue is the return trip to Monastir and safety in Sbeitla.
If this route seems too complicated, I might opt for Djerba instead, which looks simpler.

Day 3: Stop in Tetouan
Day 4-5-6: Chefchaouen and a day hike in the Rif Mountains
Day 6-7: Discover the city of Fes (I’ve heard so many great things!!)
Day 8: Stop in Meknes and possibly visit the historic site of Volubilis
Day 9-10: Rabat (I’ve heard mixed things... some good, some bad)
After that, I have the choice of heading back to Tangier for my return flight... or going down to Agadir (also a possible return flight) and extending my trip by 5 days :)
From what I can tell, everything is well connected by bus (CTM) or train (ONCF).
Another question: Is the vibe in Moroccan youth hostels for meeting people the same as what you’d find in Western Europe?

(though there are fraudulent sites out there). On the official site, they ask for legitimate info
(name, nationality, etc.). What made me go "hmm" was the request for both an email address

I aimed for an excursion to the Chigaga desert from M’Hamid because it seems less touristy and allows for a more compact loop. Is that a good idea? Is the drive to M’Hamid maybe too tedious?

A lot of people find it important to stick to their budget when traveling—not to skimp, but to visit as many places as possible since traveling is their hobby.
In this post, I want to share some tips for those coming to Morocco who want their trip to be budget-friendly.
1. Prebook everything: hotels or riads, car rentals, or tours. If you book these in advance, it’ll make your life easier. You won’t have to deal with hagglers or people trying to overcharge you for services that are available online for free. Use platforms like Booking, Expedia, carsrental.ma, Airbnb, and other booking services to get this done properly.
2. Exchange your money to Moroccan dirhams as soon as you land. 1 € is always a little over 10 dirhams, but many people get charged as if it were exactly 10 dirhams per euro.
3. When visiting an old site or the old medina, avoid talking to vendors and shop owners—they’re really good at getting your attention and making you overpay for things.
4. Ask your tour guide to buy things for you. Yes, they do get a commission, but you’ll probably pay way more if you buy something yourself that they can get cheaply.
5. Walk everywhere. You don’t need a taxi for every little trip. Pick a good location and walk—most Moroccan cities are safe during normal hours.
6. Buy your food, drinks, etc., from supermarkets at normal prices. They can’t overcharge you since they scan every product.

I’m planning my next trip outside Europe for next year, but unfortunately, I don’t have a choice with the dates—it’s late June to early July. Last year, I went to Japan for three weeks, and it was constantly 36-37°C with over 90% humidity. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.
For Egypt, I know it’s a period to avoid if possible, but I’m thinking that by the sea, it might be manageable. Otherwise, I’ll consider another destination.

Day 5: Hurghada, then drive to Luxor in the early afternoon
