J'aurais tendance à te dire dans la rue. Des gamins qui viennent taper à la vitre de la bagnole, d'autres qui essaient de vendre des babioles etc, y'en a plein partout. Je suis peut-être un peu désabusé, mais les organismes caritatifs j'y crois plus. Donc si tu as la patience et le coeur un peu dur donne en direct (je dis un peu dur, sinon tu vas donner beaucoup plus que prévu).
Enfin les fringues, fais le stock en direct aux philippines, c'est surement moins cher et tu t'encombreras pas dans l'avion. Oublie pas de mettre des tongs.

Je voulais dire, que c'était surement moins cher d'acheter les vétements aux Philippines pour les distribuer ensuite. Mais le probléme ne se pose pas si cela provient de dons.
Apporter des vêtements du Japon ....... il fait en permanence 30 degrés aux Philippines
Les gosses sont sales et la plus part du temps habillés juste avec un short et des tongues usées …
Achète plutôt sur place du savon, shampoing anti-poux, dentifrice, brosse a dents, des tongues « slipper » etc et distribue en direct aux nombreux malheureux de la rue.
J'ai malheureusement la plus grande circonspection à l'égard de ces associations humanitaires. Je ne connais pas bien celle-là, et je ne veux pas faire de généralisation abusive. Mais je vais vous raconter une anecdote récente.
Suite aux typhons et aux inondations du nord de Luzon il y a quelques semaines, la Croix Rouge Internationale a apporté son aide.
J'ai un excellent ami suisse ici qui a passé une partie de sa carrière en qualité de manager logistique lors des opérations humanitaires de la Croix Rouge ( en Afrique, au Moyen-Orient, etc...)
Ce garçon est maintenant " retraité" ( il a à tout casser 40 ans) et la Croix Rouge vient de le recontacter dans le cadre de son opération ici aux Philippines.
Contrat à durée déterminée : 7000 US$/mois, plus 3000 US$ pour son logement et 3000 US$ pour sa subsistance.....
Ceci évidemment financé par les dons des particuliers au niveau international.....
J’ai cité cette asso car souvent rapporté dans nos discussions entre expats c’est une parmi tant d’autres (je ne l’ai pas visité) et puis apporter 10kg de vêtements a l’association n’enrichira pas le "staff" 😉
Je voulais simplement attirer l'attention sur le fait que souvent, les associations humanitaires qui collectent le fruit de la générosité apitoyée du public à coup de messages propres à faire pleurer Margot, viennent d'abord en aide à leurs propres dirigeants.
Et la Croix Rouge est une des pires hypocrisies dans ce domaine. J'ai dans ma vie professionnelle, très bien connu l' utilisation commerciale qui est faite du sang récolté de donneurs bénévoles. C'est incroyablement révoltant, immonde, les mots me manquent....L' idéal de Henri Dunan est devenu un énormebloc de gruyère ( suisse of course) plein de rats aux panses rebondies....
Pour une tout autre raison ( professionnelle) , j'aurais aimé entrer en contact avec toi, à l' occasion.

tout n'est pas rose dans le monde de l'humanitaire c'est certain surtout dans les grosses structures mais il existe des petites assos qui elles ne sont pas la pour s'enrichir abusement donc ne pas generaliser comme on a tendance a le faire bien malgre nous peut etre
pour la petite histoire lors des dons americains plus d'un million de dollars en riz et aliments de base pour les innondations les sacs ont tout bonnement disparus dans la nature mais pas pour tout le monde car le riz s'est retrouvé a la vente sur les marches paralleles !!!!!

I’m planning to spend two months in Morocco from January 19, 2027, to March 13, 2027. I’ll be traveling in a truck, so I’ll be mobile.
I’d love to offer my time as a volunteer to perform a show that’s suitable for all audiences (kids and adults) in village squares. I’d also like to visit hospitals and orphanages as a clown.
My route will start in Nador, then head down to Merzouga, before making my way to the coast either above or below Agadir. Toward the end of my trip, I’ll return to Zagora and Merzouga before leaving from either Nador or Tangier.
I already have contacts in Merzouga and Zagora. Next, I’d like to head toward the coast above or below Agadir, and I’m looking for contacts (associations, orphanages, hospitals) in that area or along my route.

I’m a volunteer leader at a youth center (MJC), and we’ve been deeply moved by everything happening in Madagascar—extreme poverty, endangered animals, deforestation, and so on. Plus, one of our teens has a Malagasy friend, so our group wants to travel there next year.
Throughout this year, they’ve planned fundraisers to collect donations (sheets, dish towels, schoolbooks, hygiene products, etc.) and funds to cover their trip and stay.
They’re really motivated and generous—they already volunteer in schools and senior centers, and they’re always welcomed warmly.
But so far, they haven’t found any organizations in Madagascar willing to host them for two weeks (orphanages, schools, animal protection parks, etc.).
Does anyone know of any contacts, please?

Hello, we’d like to travel as a family to Madagascar (2 parents, 2 kids aged 10 and 12). A first trip over 15 years ago completely amazed and moved me with its beauty, kindness, and life experiences—but also its poverty and hardship. That’s why I think it’s possible to introduce our kids to this island while also doing something useful through volunteering. The window is short—15 days in March 2020—which means avoiding the north and east of the island due to cyclones and focusing on the south instead. Some ecovolunteering projects exist online, but the cost is sometimes prohibitive, and kids are rarely accepted. Do you have any ideas or contacts? Thanks in advance!
