Bonjour, J'ai 25 ans et j'habite actuellement au Japon. Je pensais vivre aux philippine d'ici quelques mois à Manille. Mais je suis assez inquiet car j'ai lu qu'il y'avait beaucoup d'insécurité 🤪 J'aimerais donc avoir l'avis de ceux qui y vivent. Es que Manille comparativement aux autres grandes villes d'asie du sud est (bankgok, Ho chi minh...) est plus dangereuse? Peut on oser une comparaison avec tokyo ? Sinon le visa j'ai lu 25 jours ! c'est peu ! si j'y reste c'est au moins 6 mois ! Comment ca se passe concretement pour rester vivre au philippines? Cout de la vie. J'aimerais un appart disons T2 ou T3 dans un quartier sécurisé et central de manille. Combien en moyenne pour ce genre d'appart ? Et sur place le restaurant familiale c'est combien en moyenne ? Enfin internet est t'il bien developpé sur manille? Merci d'avance
Manila est comme les autres très grandes villes de l'Asie.
Il y a certains quartiers chics et il y a d'autres à éviter absolument.
Globalement Manila est moins développée que Tokyo (transports publics, routes, gestion des déchets, etc.), mais il y a des quartiers où l'on ne sent rien des problèmes de cette mégapole de 18 millions d'habitants.
Concernant les visa: 21 jours gratuits à l'entrée prolongation de 38 jours (donc 59 jours au total, dans tous les BI. Payant.) prolongations de 2 mois à 2 mois jusqu'à 24 mois (dans tous les BI. Les derniers 6 mois uniquement à Manila).
Tout recommence si l'on passe un week-end à Bangkok, Hong Kong ou Kuala Lumpur...
Les condos (T2, T3 et plus) sont offerts dans les journaux. je n'ai aucune idée, car ça ne m'interesse pas.
Restaurants: Il y en a pour tous. De la petite baraque, passant par les fast-foods (MacDo), allant au resto éthnique et allant au restaurant 5 étoiles. Bon conseil: Greenbelt-2, Manila Bay, Mall of Asia et son quai.
Internet est top en Metro-Manila. Soit par landline (DSL) ou par téléphone mobile GMS, GPRS, UTMS, G3. Ca monte actuellement à 2 Mbps. Dans chaque rue il y a au moins 2 Internet cafés.

A ma connaissance, c'est seulement à l' issue du 16ème mois de séjour qu' il faut passer par la case Manille, mais après ( 18ème, 20ème et 22§me mois) on peut de nouveau demander l' extension dans les B.I. locaux.

Cebu est également une très grande ville (la 2ème ou 3ème du pays). Je ne peux pas te recommander une ville ou une île particulière. Tout dépend de ce que tu veux faire ici? Viendras-tu seul ou avec famille? Quel est-il ton budget annuel? Veux-tu rester aux Philippines pour ta vie?
Je pense la meilleure solution serait de venir pour 3 ou 4 semaines, de voyager dans le pays et de décider à la suite.
je souhaite compléter ta réponse, ayant déménagé une dizaine de fois en 5 ans à manille, je connais bien le marché de la location.
A Manille mieux vaut s 'installer sur makati, mais c devenu cher, il faut compter 800 euros pour un deux pieces dans un beaux condo, et mieux vaut choisir un condo neufs car d'une maniere générale la maintenance dans les condos laissent à désirer. A cela peut s 'ajouter des charges mensuelles de 100 euros, c'est donc chers et n'a de sens que si on y travaille et besoin de s'y rendre fréquemment, en revanche y posséder une voiture est inutile, les taxis sont partout et bon marchés. Méfiez vous des proprio qui vous demandent un an davance de loyer, c de plus en plus fréquent depuis l'arrivée massive de koréens qui payent tous sans négocier.
Alabang Paranaque: que des maisons, des locations plus abordables, mais pas toujours en bonne état avec en prime de vrais problemes de vosinage bruyants (tout philippins qui se respectent élévent des poules) ou proches de routes très fréquentés par des tricycles extremement bruyant. ET dans les beaux villages du types: Ayala Alabang, alabang hills, une année d'avance est la règle pour y accéder.
Petite anecdote, en visitant une enieme maison avec mon épouse dans bf homes village, je trouvais la maison très propre, claire et sans travaux apparent, le proprio sympa, je cherchais donc la faille, cela me semblais trop beau pour être vrai. ET ceux qui devait arriver arriva, en ouvrant la fenetre de la chambre du fond, j'eu la bonne surprise de découvrir à 3 mètre de la, un enorme poulailler, et une hurde de poulet déchainés, nous dumes presque partir en courant au grand étonement du propriétaire apparament surpris qu'un tel vacarme puisse géner ses futures locataires.
D'une manière générale, le plus drole aux philippines, c'est les commentaires savoureux sur le service hotelier, notament dans les grands hotels. Un de mes amis, très bon client d'un grand hotel à cébu, était à cours de papier toilette dans sa suite, il téléphona donc naturellement à la réception pour demander du PQ d'urgence, 3/4 d' heure plus tard, un homme de chambre distingué lui remis un rouleau de papier avec un voucher (une facture) de... un pesos.
Héhé, ca me rappelle une grande maison que je louais franchement pas chère à Davao. Ce n'est qu'au bout de quelques semaines que j'ai compris pourquoi: à la vue du nombre impressionnant de crucifixs (même dans les toilettes), elle devait être hantée 😇

Et une autre fois, j'ai vu passer une ombre un peu bizarre dans le couloir, mais c'était 4 heures du mat lors d'une partie de Age Of Empire qui ne s'arrêtait pas. 🤪
